it take so much..
i am really looking for it

910U already has lollipop on all NZ carriers, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan and Fiji on Vodafone. You can safely flash one of those on your device the only issue is the CSC will be incorrect.

i am afraid to do it
i prefer that get the FOTA update
this how it should work..

How do you correct the CSC then?

It has been mentioned somewhere on here before, but I'm pretty sure it only effects the ability to perform OTA updates

i prefer that get the FOTA update

it's ridiculous
that after 8 months that lollipop is out , the note 4 U version is not released
it gives the impression that Samsung device become not relevant after release

it was released a few weeks back. do you mean it hasn't been released for your region?

i don't see any update for my device
i failed to see here any update for my particular device:

i am afraid to install it
i am afraid to install it by odin
i prefer FOTA as normal customer...

You'll be waiting a long while for that fota.

Its ridiculous.. samsung took 8 months to update my phone to lollipop. Became available only yesterday on sammobile for my TGY hong kong device. After using samsung flagships since the galaxy s. I believe ny note 4 will be the last.
Thoroughly disappointed

what is the "p" sign in my note after lollipop upgrade?
Hi,

Got my update OTA overnight (Smartone).
Battery life got noticeably worse. Have not done factory reset though.

[Q] Downgrading

Hi guys I'm kinda new here and a beginner in flashing but anyway I need some help i have a Samsung s4 gt-i9505 and just as 4.4.2 kitkat came out I wished to upgrade due to Australia was one of the last countries to receive the update so I flashed my firmware to
Some thing else to get the new firmware which I thinks German anyway Australia has caught up with the world now and I wish to go back to Australian firmware but unsure of how to do so I have downloaded Australian 4.3 telstra firmware as I can't seem to find a 4.4.2 Australian firmware to download so my question is how do I go about downgrading to 4.3 from a up to date 4.4.2 firmware with Odin? Please remember that I'm kinda new to this and also I've attached a screen shot with my current version

You don't need and can't downgrade. If you received OTA (Over the air) update and ur phone updated to GN5 means that ur phone isnt Australian, it's german. You can know it better doing this steps:
1. Install Kies 3 and it will give u the CSC (device code zone) like in pic attached.
2. Take a look the CODE of 3 letters in this page for check the country of your device -> HERE
3. Done
*EDIT: The latest firmware update for i9505 is I9505XXUGNF1 if you own a german phone (DBT).

P600 - Kitkat is rolling out in Germany

Ha! And it only took 5 months until the first 4.4 update in the US was released.
Don't know which version it is yet, but the update has 579 MB. I'm currently downloading it and will report the version as soon as I have installed it.
Something went wrong I downloaded the file and tried to install it, but after the Reset it said that the Firmware update could not be installed, I should try with PC (Kies). I connected to Kies but no new firmware was found. I tried to update OTA again, but it said that the newest firmware is already installed (it's still the old one)
I don't know if Samsung removed the OTA update again or my tablet has some issues. I'll wait for other German users to report.
No problem here, even after restart no problems.....

I actually can't believe we have it in the UK!!
Cheers for letting me know @thomlh ... I have auto updates off incase its a duff update as I suffered problems with the last S3 update before they went back and stopped coz the S3 updates had loads of issues. I was stuck with a paper weight for a week.
Is it running smoothly?
P.s. create a new thread for UK update as I dont want to take credit for telling people - that way we can talk about any issues with the update for UK users.
I tried the update a second time this morning and now it worked. Great!

Seems to be a security related update mostly (has the Android security patch level of November, which is by the way supposed to be a marshmallow feature) , but has also improved my battery life. FYI, my note 5 is from Singapore.
In other news, I asked Samsung if they had any news of marshmallow. Sadly none so far, but that they'd keep us posted.

It's available as an OTA for me too. Mine is from Singtel (Singapore). I'm on the out-of-the-box Singapore OJ6 firmware, CSC code SIN.

If you're coming from out of box firmware, expect some fairly noticeable battery improvements. Samsung has been doing well releasing updates for the Note 5, bought mine a week after launch and have gotten 6 or 7 updates perhaps.
Any other regions gotten it yet?

I got COJ5 today on TMOBILE - stated security and battery improvements and a Smart Manager fix.
AOJ is already being discussed here and here.

To be fair I did start the thread first. Those both are an hour old.

My bad on the first one. I meant to link here, which has been open since 22/10.
The second one was started in August, and they've been discussing AOJ in there for a while.
We don't need a new thread every time an update is pushed to every region for every variant of a device, especially if it's an international variant of the device.
Thread closed.
Please continue your discussion in the existing thread here:

Nougat in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Hi,
Did anyone received Nougat update on Dual Sim version in Saudi Arabia ?
I feel it is available in Dubai and other regions but I haven't received it yet.
it hasn't been released yet in the middle east... but you could download Russia's full rom from Sammobile (Backup your data before installing)
Here you go:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/120532/G935FXXU1DQAS_G935FOXE1DQAS_SER/
I am looking for official update. The roll out started on 17th Jan but I don't see any sign in middle east. This only happens in Samsung. Every other Brand I have used once the official roll out begins in a week we receive it everywhere.
i bought a phone from Doha Galaxy S7 and updated to naugat , but after updating when i switch to front camera its shows error "Camera Failed Warning". Before update it was working when i bought it. I Even installed one more update today 2-2-17 which was available but still the problem continues. So what should i Do. I am right now not in doha.

Make a hard reset and test camera, if still not working you can downgrade back to 6.0.1 till samsung solve this issue, I saw more cases like yours on this forum, seems to be a nougat bug on some camera firmwares

Oreo update!

https://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-android-oreo-uk-unlocked/
Oreo is being pushed out in the UK, to unlocked phones (BTU, im pretty sure) the past day, is it possible for us to flash one of their firmwares on our phones? Or we have to wait for the update to roll out here?

The model that is being updated is the sm-g935f. It runs on a Exynos processor, but your sm-g935v runs on a snapdragon processor. Unfortunately, we have to wait.

My G935V got the update notification yesterday. You may want to try a force update to see if it will send you the oreo update.
NM it was just that 7.0 patch sorry if i got people excited, the google results were saying oreo.
