There is no SU binary installed

Recently i updated to lollipop 5.1.1,thus losing root permissions.
i tried flashing the Update SuperSu 2.46 again but same problem exists i.e "There is no SU binary installed and superSU can't install it....
says i need to to manually re-root.
should i try flashing SuperSu 2.5?
please help.
Note:Tried enabling root options in developer menu.

SuperSu Binaries are not installed and SuperSu cannot install these binaries.

Hello there, I've been looking around online looking for a way to solve my SuperSu problem, but I haven't found a solution yet I was wondering if you guys could help me.
I installed my root using Odin and CF-ROOT I then realized I had both, Kingroot and SuperSU. Kingroot was the one with the root authorization and SuperSU did not have root authorization. Before I did anything SuperSU used to say "Binaries need to be updated use Normal Or TWRP/CWM," but after I used "Replace kingroot with supersu" It now says "No binaries are installed and SuperSU cannot install them." I'VE tried many methods to solve this. By the way I'm new to this stuff.
Methods used: About Device:
1. Flash updates binaries. 1. Model number: SM-G900T
2. Flashed SuperSU update. 2. Android version: 4.4.2
3. Tried to eradicate SuperSU.

Are you on TW stock rom or Custom Rom? do you have recovery flashed?

I cant root, please HELP!

I flashed TWRP recovery, flashed SuperSu zip throup recovery. Now I have SuperSu app which when opened says Su binary is not installed.
So next I flashed CF Auto Root through odin and again same thing, I have app with same error. I have 910H with Marshmallow. I am tired of searching, I can't root it please help
What Recovery are you using? Make sure its the latest version of TWRP and do NOT use Recovery's root option, when and if it asks to root, select no.
Don't we need to flash a root acceptable kernel 1st, like the Emotion kernel?
Thanks all. I solved it already. I had to flash a kernel first.

On stock rom unrooted latest Firmware 24.49-18-4 TWRP 3.0.2-0 How do I root?

I am at a loss.
I am crazy and like to restore to stock whenever there is a security update or anything like that just so I can remember how to flash recovery, boot images, etc.
So I had the **18-3 with the Feb update and was rooted with SuperSU ( don't recall which ) and TWRP 3.0.0-1 I believe.
When I got the notification for the new security update I promptly unrooted, and flashed the stock 24.49-18-4 / 24.221.4 firmware and am able to boot.
I have installed the latest TWRP and can boot to it, and reboot to system all I want.
I have done this process twice now because the first time I tried to install SuperSU (2.76??) after all this I got stuck on the moto logo and could not boot.
Other threads have mentioned you cannot root with SuperSu on 6.0, or something to that effect.
So I am not unrooted (I believe) on 24.49-18-4 and want to root to be able to get SuperSU and the rest of my root apps up and running.
What do I do from here?

Su 2.62-3 for root & boot up normal then flash over Su 2.76
Done.

How to change Superuser without flash stock ROM and lose all data

Does anybody know if it's possible to change Superuser without having to flash stock ROM?
I'm on stock 7.0 and when I tried to install SuperSU I've got a bootloop (wrong version of SuperSU, there wasn't the wright version available yet) so I found a guide to root my device using another supersu (phh superuser) and it's working perfectly.
I wonder if there is a way to change from Phh superuser to SuperSU (now there's a compatible version with 7.0 available) without having to flash stock ROM again and lose all the data.
(Sorry if there's a thread already talking about that but, if there is, I didn't find it)
There's a screenshot of the superuser app
Supersu installation using twrp
To install supersu you need twrp. You have to use systemless mode to install supersu. For systemless mode goto twrp then advanced>terminal
Type:
echo "SYSTEMLESS=true" > /data/.supersu
Then install Supersu.zip.
For latest supersu visit official supersu download page.
