[Q] SIM unlock i9505

Hi guys, I am not sure if this is the right category to post, but I just would like to ask is there a method now to SIM unlock i9505? I am from philippines and my network is glohe. I have read few postamd tried the service* method but itdid not work for me, some people here charges 300php or 6usd, so maybe there is such thing as free method for unlocking thanks for help guys

One good method legal for unlock ur phone is for IMEI. I dont know others :highfive:

Yeah. But you can find cheaper web pages that can unlock ur phone in less of 24 hours

No SimUnlock

Hi. I have a root S4 with TWRP recovery and ROM CyanogenMod Snapshot M9. Originally Vodafone now being rooted, should be SimUnlock, but other sim not work. What is going on, someone can help me ?. Thank you.

Hi mate ,
Root has nothing to do with SIM unlock , to sim unlock you need a code, in the old days used to be possible to do it without the code, see here:

Not possible anymore , as far as i know , there ara apps that in some model can do it , but you have to pay

You need to buy and unlocking code or take to a local service shop to unlock.......no other way ( yet)

Root without Unlock Bootloader

I just bought the phone and I am now on nougat. I tried looking for a simple root process without unlocking the bootloader on nougat but its simply overwhelming what works and what does not work. If anybody has a simple process on just rooting the device without unlocking I would appreciate it. Thank You

Did you read the root without unlock thread?
No, it can't be done on N or any worthwhile version of 6.0.1.

I did read through that thread and there were so many different versions it looks like it was hit and miss for most people. So there is a root possiblity for nougat right now is that correct. Thanks

But there are a lot of powerful stuff to be unlocked when rooted ?

At present there are no known root exploits for Moto's stock ROM if bootloader isn't eligible for unlocking.

Actually i have unlocked my bootloader when i am on marshmallow
Means i have my bootloader unlocked., Can now it be possible to root this

Then your bootloader remains unlocked. Root with the tool of your choice; most favor Magisk. Also pay attention to format of data partition (ext4 or f2fs) and encryption status. Both are considerations when rooting systemlessly.

No - because if you're asking then you likely don't have the skills/experience to get yourself out of trouble if something goes wrong. And it likely will with this device. Suggest you consult rooting threads in the G4P help section along with those for the Moto E4 which is similar and came with Nougat 7.1.1. I have one of those; not the easiest pup to root. Boot looped twice before I got things sorted. Been doing this a long time, did my homework and still ran into issues.
Unrooted Nougat isn't horrible. Enjoy your *working* device while figuring out if/how to root it. Waiting for a guide specific to this device might be your best bet.

Can anyone help me with no network issue? Just updated to 7..1.1 but no network. Help pls
