[Q] Call standby and WLAN eating battary - GiONEE Elife E7

Hi, got my e7 2 days ago, updated to kk.
Everything working but call standby and WLAN eating battery, screen on for 3h 10min(consumed 10% of battery) and after 12h I have only
10% battery left. The phone wasn't awake while screen is on so it is probably not an app keeping the phone awake..
So .. wifi is always on(on battery stats, but I turned if off for 3h) and even so it shouldn't consume 28% of battery.
Standby consumed 29% of battery! But always got full signal and talked just for 10-15min.
I've done root with 360root and remove(suspend)some apps with 360root.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

[Q] Battery performance?

Last night I let the battery drain all the way to shut the phone off. Then I plugged it and left it charging overnight so this morning I started with a full charge.
Right before the phone died again tonight (1%battery) I read the following use:
cell standby 47% 12:47
phone idle 42% 12:22
bluetooth 7% 1:57
wifi 4% 1:01
display 3% 0:24
In short, the battery lasted to keep the phone on for less than 13 hrs, including 2 hrs of bluetooth, 1 hr of wifi and just 24 mins of actual screen usage.
Is this the expectancy, or my battery is failing?
Thanks
It's hard to tell.. There are a lot of other variables to take into account other than those stats.
It would be nice to have an idea of how much usage/standby people get, just for reference.
Thanks

Does battery drain faster below a certain %?

This is odd. On idle, it took nearly 3 hours to go from 62% to 61% which I'm very happy with. After that it started going down a bit quicker. Waking up after 7 and a half hours, the battery had gone from 49% to 42%, so about 1% per hour. While that's not so bad, why would it start to go down fast? Since it took nearly 3 hours to move 1%, I'd have thought it should be at about 46 or 47% after waking up. Is there a % threshold where the battery drains quicker?
Current uptime, mostly from idle, and power saving mode from 50%.

maybe this battery drain problem started randomly on you device after 61% ...
but you do not have this wifi sharing or manager app that drain battery..this is strange..maybe your battery needs to be calibrated

Thanks for your reply. Where do I find the battery calibration setting? I can only find calibration for gyrosensor and horizontal.

Huge battery drain: Awake screen off

Hi
Brand new phone here, not rooted and fully stock.
During last three days I noticed a huge battery drain overnight, so I installed Better Battery Stats. Being not rooted I don't see many info but one thing is clear: after 6h being idle, I have lost 17% and BBS shows one single line as per attached screenshot.
Any idea what's going on?
Thanks
try turning off wifi and anything that syncs constantly. go into settings, battery and see what it shows. no need for an extra app.
????
I don't want to turn off wifi at night.
With my edge+ all was remaining on and I would use only 4% overnight
I have the same problem. Go to sleep at night and wake up 7 hours later with 40% drain during the night. I don't use wifi.

I've had this phone for a week, and the first 3 days all was ok, but during the last 3 nights I am experiencing this huge drain overnight.
Problem is I am not rooted (and am not willing to root right now, till Android N comes) so I cannot really use wakelock detectors to see what's going on.
Phone is set up exactly like my Samsung S6 Edge+ and this one drain max 5% overnight.
Again go into settings and battery and see what is being used
Ok tonight I'll check
Here it is.
Unplugged and left 6h idle overnight with wifi on.
Lost 12℅
I cannot understand what's going on

Tonight lost 20%
Please note this happens only at night while phone is idle.
During day battery seems OK and wifi or idle do not show up in battery usage.
Also from the screenshot I see only 1% and a very low mA usage, so I don't understand why I lose so much battery when nothing is going on.
Is this really a problem? Your phone is losing between 2% and 3.3% per hour. That doesn't seem that bad. Mine is around 6% during the day (I have it plugged in during the night).
2% per hour in doze at night is a huge problem

Yeah, that kind of drain is an issue. I lose like 1% every 6 or 7 hours overnight with phone in doze with 2 maint. cycles

Sounds normal, not severe.
10% in 9 hours standby = 4.75 days standby only
13% in 1 hours screen on = 7.69 hours solid sot
I noticed whenever I put my phone on battery saver mode, the standby time became horrendous! Without battery saver mode on I lose 1-2%, but with battery saver mode on I lose 10-20% on standby time!

Battery drain...

I have removed all the unnecessary crap (ADB). When I charge to 90% in the morning, there is about 30-40% battery left in the evening. And this is when the tablet is not being used.... Is this normal?
Install GSam Battery Monitor and see what's eating up your battery.
Kernel and android...
so, the battery drain problem turned out to be wifi - with wifi off the tablet lasts more than a week without charging, at least in my case.
I use the WiFi Automatic app to turn wifi on and off automatically.
