Beta Testers Needed for a new Rom

Ok so this isnt really a new Rom it is infact a rom i have over in the SGS2 i777 forums (same device with same internals, but capacative buttons instead of home buttons)
So this Rom is LPD and its working but all i need is someone to test i got the i9100 Button layout correctly. Since the rest im able to test on my US version of the SGS2... This rom is already released in our Forum and i have had request from many of my youtube followers to release here.... any help would be appreciated. Mods if this belongs anywhere else im sorry but i thought this would be a good place to post... Feel free to move if needed.
if you would like to beta test just pm me ill be checking pretty soon. Any help would be appreciated as i wanna release sometime today or tomorrow.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about this Liquid build... Any one here flash it with another kernel? How did it go?

Guys, there is a reason we haven't created a thread yet. The build is completely unstable and is not ready for public release. Just be patient, we'll bring the Liquid goodness soon.

What?? We brought up the device straight from AOSP like everyone else. If you bothered to look at our github or Gerrit and took your anonymous Internet fanboy-ism down for a second or two, you'd see that we started work on the N6 way before anyone from Slim did.

Oh I definitely know that's why you haven't created a thread yet, but you know how some of us are.. We go server sniffin' looking for things like Liquid because your ROM is great!
And yes.. We have issues with flashing things too.
First step is admitting we have a problem.

Hahaha, I'm with you - just wanted to make sure people know what they're getting into before bug reports or "oh God I bricked it, I bricked it all" comments start rolling in. lol

Looking forward to liquid since I picked up my n6,it is the ROM of choice on all my phones I've owned, can't wait for a release from you guys!

So... Back to my other question has anyone in here tried flashing this yet?
Or has CPA Poke's use of the "B-Word" swayed everyone to hold off until an official build??
If I was at home and by my computer I'd give it a spin myself but that's not until much later today.

I've been watching their since and I got the n6, I've flashed both of the nughtlies, they aren't ready for any type of normal use, constant crashes.

Haha yeah it flashes and boots, but you get process.phone crashes nonstop. I know exactly what's causing it, I'm just waiting for our stupid build server to go back up and get the build going. I'll let you all know when it's up

wt a disaster. I always loved his roms and work. I still cannot believe that he left :crying:. I just realized that the thread has got 3 stars only. For me it deserved a 5 star

I dont know what happened i think everyone complained cause the latest rom didnt work for GSM and noone wanted to do multirom me included but i could have waited till it was fixed. I hope he comes back. Alot of people love his work i do too im on sense 6 right now

Given the number of roms and the volume of work entailed I'm surprised there is only one man behind it all. Take his roms away and the m7 development forums become a much bleaker place imo.

This is true and let's not forget the number of "devs" that kang his work because it is so good. Everyone will then be left with buggy sense 7 roms that still rely on sense 6 parts to work.

Kinda what I was hoping for here.
Take a look at the ElementalX thread. It's full of failed to boot posts as well. This problem isn't limited to this developer.

I have been using his ROMs for a while now. Very sad that he will not continue developing them. I'm getting an M9 in a few weeks and hopefully someone equally skilled (or santod040) will develop ROMs for that device.

So sad that some idiots steal his work. I hope that if he upgrades to the M9 he will continue his development. His roms were smooth and with great feedback/support of him. Everything was compiled by him in the nusenseven rom. I have the roms but have not the knowledge to cook it myself for GSM. He will leave a big hole in the GSM dev scene.

I saw this thred yesterday when it was started.I didnt think that it will change anything,but ofkors that its a very nice way to support Santod's work.Well,as you guys always do some crazy stuff when i sleep,i didnt see "closing",and now i didnt see "opening" of the threads...Im glad you back Santod

Who would like to see cleanrom VK810 Verizon Gpad!

Hello everyone it has come to my attention there is no roms for the Verizon Gpad Tablet no love and I think its a sweet tablet so basically I am coming here cause I just got one myself to test the waters. Who would like to see cleanrom on the VK810 tablet a nice clean rom that is fast and stable and will give this tablet what it needs please post below and lets see how much support we get!

Hi! There actually are versions of CM11 although some things like I believe data and GPS aren't working. He's still working on it, but yes we're all interested in more ROMs being available. Choice is good.

V500 has more like the UI of G3 and VK810 has the UI like the G Flex JB.

I hate to break it you, but I don't think there will ever be any good ROM for this tablet unfortunately. I've been waiting for a year and there has been no progress in that time. For what ever reason there is no interest which I figure there would of been since Verizon was giving tons of these away for free. The current CM11 Rom is ok but has a LONG way to go. We have root so that's a lot right there, but don't hold your breath for any roms.

Yes I know picked one up pretty cheap myself paid 100 bucks on amazon warehouse used it to downgrade one of my lines must say well worth the price.

I cant wait iv had this vk810 since last jan 2014.

I have a extra one I'd be willing to donate to the right dev for work on this tab

Kernel

As many of you know, I had a kernel named Singularity. I chose to cease development. As users still want the kernel, I am looking for someone to take over. If you are interested PM and if I decide your serious Ill give you the source

I would love it if someone would take this over! I don't know Jack about coding but have been very happy with the kernel. Maybe one of the kernel devs could build it as a side project to their own or at least go through the code and give some feedback as to the viability of adopting it...

its not on xda anymore and the source isn't either.
I wish i had the time and ingenuity to take it.
But I don't.
If I were to do it updates would be inconsistent and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep it up nearly as well as apophis did.

I really wish I could keep the kernel alive. I put 4 years into XDA with various projects. Being burnt out doesnt even begin to describe how I feel. I promise if I change my mind down the road Ill let everyone know

I just added cpuquiet to my source. I am going to test it and just post source here for anyone who wants it. I dont need one person to carry on the kernel, everyone can have access and it will go on that way. Have fun.

Yeah that was Yoinx. Hes a great guy, I actually didnt know that some phones had a lower bin. This was my first kernel. You said neo-era. I thought you were talking about neo the developer who is now a mod. He actually tought me about android. Neo has been an amazing friend for almost 4 years. I stand by Yoinx. Great guy and highly intelligent. He was the one who taught me about kernels.

I will be updated the kernel soon. This in no way means I want to do it for the masses. Just stuff I'm doing for myself but you have my source and you can compile it yourself.
