Battery AGAIN

Hello guys, my Note3 battery is terrible ! I followed every step posted by other users, it's drainig vervy very fast, 1-2 % every 1 minute, I did factory reset, updated to latest 4.4.2 firmware but no results, I don't want to root it, can someone help me how to improve it ?

And I forgot one thing, I left my phone at night at 19% (unplugged) when I woke up it was 21 % it charged itself ? I don't know what to do phone is new

He is on kitkat and doesn't wanna root.
He can't use wakelock detector.
OP- Claim warranty...?

You don't need root for wakelock detector and it does work on kitkat

You need root on kitkat. Google changed the policies.
Apps don't have permission to read the partial wakelocks.

Same here please any suggestions?
Nothing works,tried all the tips, before kitkat I used to have that android os bug, when I received kitkat, the bug was resolved bit replaced by another unexplainable drain!!!!!!!
android system and media drain are too Damn high... 2 hard resets didn't even help....
I'm really getting fed up with Samsung and their crap, this is my third note device and it's really getting ridiculous...
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated

Maybe its the auto connect network mode that drains your battery, at home I have poor 3g/4g connection and my battery drains fast. Switching to GSM while at home fixed my battery problem.

What is the meaning of life?
Your question is the same as the ones above - who knows
most likely you have an app that is draining the battery - for example kik messenger or bbm or some other app that is keeping the phone awake or just draining battery
use an app on the playstore that will tell you app battery usage

If you have a lot of running apps in the background dont expect your battery to last longer.. Uninstall apps you dont use and keep your phone clean

no , that not cause by running apps.i dont install an application that running in backgroud.but it was due coz by battery drain after unplug the charger

Clear battery stats from recovery
And keep the battery in a cool place "refirgerator" for a while cause high temperature increase ionization rate and consequently battery drain fastee

Need help with Battery Drain.

Hi Guys!
I have a recently bought Galaxy S5 G900F.
I installed the official MM update and everything was fine for 3 days.Then I noticed a severe bateery drain while the phone is sleeping.It drained 30% in 6 hours whithout touching it.I decided to install Pheonix rom and the same thing happened.Perfect for 3 days..then a severe battery drain.
Please I need help this is frustrating me since I ve just bought the device.

Install better battery stats and post a dump file after it sleeps for a few hours.

but after testing things I figured out the reason.It was the cell network.When I go to airplane mode..he drain stops.Any idea?

Could be a lot of things. Do you have weak signal? It could also be apps syncing and what not, I'm not sure that would get attributed to the cell network though, it's still worth checking. If you figure it out let us know but otherwise post the dump after it idles for a few hours, that will tell us for sure what the cause is.

Battery drain

So after installing B151 update my battery sucks.Before update i could get about 5-6 hrs screen on time now cant even 4.So is somebody experiencing anything similar?

**** this **** I ve recently bought device and they ****ed up my experience

After update I have 1h screen / 10% battery . Maybe try to factory reset.

I did it ,its a bit better but still drains for no reason

But that problem was not due to apps ,only aftet B151 update

not sure if it will work for you but battery fix pro solved my problem with battery drain, just charge to 100% then press calibrate..restart ..then go back to app and press fix battery drop ? worth a try

After tweaking ,unninstalling,optimising device im happy to say that this day was great.Even on data always on,hard usage,always messaging(viber,whatsapp,messenger),some gaming,streaming,snapchat,instagram..this is great!

Basic tweaks in no-rooted range. Using phone manager to optimise apps behavior,only 2 protected apps,deleted system apps and games and basic stuff like that

Battery draining fast..cell standby???

Hi guys..im on 5.1.1 and the battery life sucks bigtime..due to cell standby. Is there any new updated fix for this? I tried solutions posted on youtube but no luck. I love my note 4 but this is killing me!! Thanks

Why not update to 6.0...? It might fix your issue with doze...

Doze is new feature in all.6.0.1 marshmallow devices by default to save battery life and apps optimization.
Lollipop is a mess the worst update ever for note 4 in.my opinion.
I recommend you 6.0.1 or 4.4.4 kitkat for better battery life.

Ok..are any of you having problems with the battery on 6.0.1??
