Try to press [power] + [volume up] + [volume down] at the same time. And you may go into the CWM.

try press vol (+) + vol (-) + power at the same time, release them when mi logo appeared

If u are using stock rom (MIUI), go to UPDATE app and choose REBOOT TO RECOVERY.

Miui rewrites its own recovery if it finds a different recovery.
After installation. Don't start phone. Go to recovery directly.
Reply if this works

I'm quite sure @adeen-s trick works.
Anyway I stopped flashing the recovery because of this issue ... and I just force the boot into it when I need.
If you have a pc with adb/fastboot utils, you can boot any recovery without flashing it:
- Power of your phone
- Put your phone in fastboot mode [power] + [volume donw] and connect it to the pc and
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img

Flash supersu as the first thing after booting into recovery.

[Q] Attempting to flash stock recovery with V2.0.0 Toolkit

I am attempting to flash to stock recovery on my nexus 4 using the Nexus 4 Toolkit V2.0.0. I've attempted to do this over 5 times and reinstalled nexus 4 toolkit and it is still not working. All I am getting when I boot into recovery is an icon of the android mascot laying down with it's chest open and a warning symbol. I can flash to CWM or TWRP with no problem but attempting to flash into stock recovery isn't working.
It is working. The android laying down is the splash screen to the stock recovery. You can press volume up and power to enter.

No I think what you are describing is fast boot mode. When you go into recovery from fastboot mode you get this icon.

Thanks, You are correct. Unfortunately that means I haven't found the problem. I'm in stock recovery but still can't encrypt the phone. Just keeps rebooting whenever I try to.

SM-T580 Stuck in Installing System Update loop

Hi all,
My Wife's tablet seem to be stuck in somesort of system update loop.
I can't seem to put it into recovery mode using

I can put the tablet in DOWNLOAD mode using HOME + Volume down + POWER, but my PC does not seem to detect the tablet
Using OdinV3 3,14 with the Samsung USB drivers installed.
Is the tablet a lost cause or can i try something else to fix it?
Here is a screenshot what i see on the screen for a brief moment before it reboots.

What should i do?
=========================================
====Edit2
So I found me some firmware for my device from sammobile, I hope I can use Odin to flash this on the tablet

======EDIT3
So the flash process was stuck in hthe initialization phase for to long and I decided to unplug the device and try again. Now don't ask me why but this time the device automatically booted up in recovery mode and I was able to factory reset the device. It now boots up fine... Can someone explain what is going on? All seems fine now.
Kind regards,

Lenovo Ideatab A3000F Soft Brick, not booting - Can't entry to Recovery mode/Can't flash stock firmware

I have a Lenovo Ideatab A3000F tablet that worked perfectly until a few weeks ago when I wanted to turn on it and it stayed on the logo.
If I press the power button it turns on and stays on the logo. If I want to turn it off by holding down the power button for a few seconds it turns off, but after a while it turns itself back on, in loop.
To turn it off completely I have to press the reset button that is in the back, under the lid.
By pressing power + vol+ I can normally choose between Recovery/Fastboot/Normal mode but none of them works. When starting it in Recovery mode it is also stays on the logo, and that's the biggest problem...
If I put it to charge it turns on and it is also stays on the logo, the battery icon doesn't even appear.
What I did was download the stock firmware and the flashing tool. I installed the drivers on my pc and the tablet was perfectly recognized, but when I start flashing the rom it stays at 0% when the tablet is with the screen on, and gives me an error when I try it with the tablet turned off.
It is as if there is no connection between the PC and the tablet, but they recognize each other.
Here is a vid of the problem (in Spanish) -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RcG_eU-laYpLKYAbJHaSdyt8aMfsBL2A/view?usp=drivesdk and there are two screenshots attached; one screenshot of when it remains at 0% with the screen on, and another that gives me an error when it is off.
Is there any other alternative or maybe something I'm doing wrong?
