Xperia Z1 Stock Rooted LP - no sound when apply mod

Same here (Z1 C6902) this is my stock mixer_paths.xml if helps https://mega.co.nz/#!8gxWhAAa!CVRQLER4es7pgAFN3rY2GnLN1k8ZFzCI8Mbwkl2QuqI

Working fine for Xperia Z3 Single. Thank you friend.

it will most likely work on Z2 and Z3 since they are same devices with different designs but Z1 has differnet chipset so probably some modifications are needed.

Nice !! ^^
Thanks brother and team mate @beniamin24 :good:
Sent From MoonWalker Provolution V1.0 [Beta] Based On LP 5.0.2 !

Superb this mod. Works great on my xperia z3. Brilliant thanks.

This is absolutely amazing !!!!
The volume is very loud, so loud that i reverted back to stock settings
I'm just here to confirm this works flawlessly on Xperia Z2 (.726)
Great Job mate
Note: The volume levels in the headphone is way too loud, so loud that it could seriously do some damage to your ears, if u're listening to your music on full volume.

Tried this mod on Xperia Z Ultra running Lollipop 5.02. Unfortunately it does not work. I get no sound once applying the mod.
Fortunately I made a backup of mixer paths and got my sound back!

In Z1c 5.0.2, No speaker volume heard but got very lound headphones audio instead , thanks.

I hear no difference in sound coming from speaker, didn't test headphones not really interested in this anyway.
Kitkat had awesome sound, they ruined it with lollipop, damn Sony!

this mod enable the two speakers to answer a call on speakerphone?

Works with my Z3 with Digital TV... Thank you.

worked perfectly well on my Z3c, and also edited the file to enable the two speakers during a call using the speakerphone

the same to me, to have the two speakers in a call with the speakerphone, only using this mod(http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-...3c-23-0-1-5-77-dual-speakerphone-mod-t3016158), but then lost the other improvements mentioned in this post.

[Q] Call problem with Sony Headphones

Hey all,
As I didn't like Samsung earbuds, I use my Sony MDR-J10 Ear Clip Headphones. But in calls, I can't hear the other person's voice because it's too low. And it's really annoying every time I receive a call and I'm listening to music, to unplug the headphones and after the call to replug them . Any idea how to solve this problem?
Just in case, I use Kyrillos v6 with G3MOD v1.3.2 Ultimate kernel
Thanks in advance!
Check EQ settings of headphones.. make it to default or try tweaking using tricks given in thread of EQ settings.. hope this would help.. i totally understand ur situation

Thanks. I was just testing this (btw, I can't access to audio menu. It must be blocked in jpq or something), and I tried to make a call. I realized that the the person's voice is not being 'bypassed' to the headphones (in other words, it's still being 'played' in G3's front speaker (just like it would do if there was no headphones connected. But before and after the call, all system/music sounds are played on the headphones :S).
Hope I didn't messed the text up a lot xD
Edit: When I try with Samsung earbuds, it ok. I can listen to the other person perfectly. Any idea to make it work with the Sony ones? I really hate earbuds xD

increasing earphone volume

Hi,
Is there any solution to increase earphone volume and call quality like in HTC or samsung by using service codes or any modifications?.
I think the volume and call quality in X8 is very low and poor.
If you are using cyanogenmod rom with working DSPmanager, turn on compression, it will give you a real boost

Absolutely useless advise. DSP does not work with earspeaker.
Having installed cyanogenmod7, also faced with the same problem - my xperia x8 has very low sound via earspeaker. I can hardly hear what caller is speaking to me.
then this must be your cell phones problem, not with the rom. I dont have any problem listening even on a busy road.
Try to clean your speaker of dust......
FXP roms over 028 and official CM71 rom have bug there - very low call in volume.

What Audio Mods are you using???

Hello folks, wanted to see what the community has tested as far as what audio mods are working on the LG G3 and your review on said audio mods. I appreciate the feedback.
I have the one where you edit the text file to make it louder and also I use viper4android. Very loud and sounds very good for a phone.
Is there anything potentially useful for someone who listens to music through headphones instead of using the phone speaker?

Hey. Mate u can find it in play store:'' Volume Boost For LG G3'' Change the scores as Headphone: 65, Speakers: 69 and set the equaliser in the music player. I'm sure u will like it. Thanks..

Use both speakers for speakerphone?

Recently got a US F3521 and flashed over to the Euro firmware. I've really been liking the phone but noticed today that the in-call speakerphone only uses the bottom speaker on the phone. Does anyone know how to get both speakers working or increase the volume?
Also, the audio sounds great coming from this phone in general. I just wish it could be louder...
I believed the sound from either the bottom speaker or from both speakers is decided by the applications.
In youtube & music, I have both speakers output the sound, but the top one is giving smaller volume, however, Skype can only use bottom speaker.
I also flashed a US version with Euro firmware and updated with the latest Nougot Feb update.
Hmm, on both my Z3 Compact and Z5 Compact that was the stock behavior, but by modifying mixer_paths.xml you could force louder volume overall and dual speaker use always. I never made those modifications myself, so I'm not sure, but I bet the same could be applied to the X Compact for louder audio out of both speakers.
i would give it a try, where is mixer_paths.xml hidden ?
For louder audio you can download speaker boost app from play store. Works quite well!!

You can find it in root/system/etc, and if you end up modifying the file or replacing it, you must then set permissions back to rw-r--r--
Arjun in this forum had offered to modify the file (as I'm not sure what changes to make in it), but I haven't rooted and setup my new X Compact yet to pull the file and upload it:

[Z3+][STOCK][N] Listen in Hi-Res Audio DSEE HX (24BIT 48KHZ-192KHZ) by Rizal Lovins

Hello friends,
This was made originally for Xperia Z5 and I've just made the specific changes in the files and have shared the same.
Credit goes to:
Rizal Lovins (who made this mod). https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4666531
and GryTEcHoG (Who helped me bringing this mod to our xperia z3+)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Listen all music in High Resolution Audio on Sony Music!!!
Playback at 48KHZ and DSEE HX at 192KHZ
FINALLY. You will not hear any noise even if you don't turn on DSEE HX and with DSEE HX turned on audio will be much richer.
NOTE : I recommed you to listen music before you try this fix/mod to hear the different!!!
Requirements:
- Xperia Z3+ (Both single and dual sim)
- STOCK 7.0/7.1.1
- No other sound mod
- ROOTED/TWRP Installed
How to install?
Just flash with TWRP and after flashing clear data and cache from MusicFx in settings>apps>system apps.

For me Bluetooth audio works even after with this mod.
EDIT: After installing this mod, I would suggest to clean caches and do some burn in with speakers like 1 hour and let it idle for several hours like over night to calibrate it to get good balance else you might face low volumes.
correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt our phone already support hi res audio? i listen to flac files with poweramp and mdr ex 750 na and it sounds good enought (at least for me). i'm not so audiophile person btw
i flashed it on RR 5.8.4 but is too low the volume in speaker and handsfree doesnt work (when i plug hansdfree is still play music in speaker). In call, the earpiece doesnt work - speaker is all the times. do u have an uninstall zip? or..

This mod has Noise reduction, high bit rate compared to default 16bit-98KHZ even without turning on DSXX.

Just flash the rom you're using on top of the existing without wiping and clearing anything and you're good to go...

No currently this only works with stock rom, leads to mic and Bluetooth related problem in custom roms.
Though I'm looking to figure it out but it demands a lot of time to flash custom rom, test and then roll back to stock.
Tried on M-ROM
I want to assume this MOD is working on M-ROM correct? I am asking because M-ROM has all stock functionality and is basically a costomized stock rom. Has anyone tried yet? Thank you
Does this MOD mess with 1-bit single rate DSD Hi Res playback?
