[ROM][5.1.1][10.7.A.0.228][C6603][LB] Pre-Rooted, Xposed Framework, XZDR 2.8.23

Hello Everyone
Sony has started to roll out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z.
Thus,I have created this firmware with pre-rooted tool & added SuperSu, Xposed Framework & also XZDualRecovery 2.8.23
You will need to have an Xperia Z C6603 running stock 5.0.2 / 5.1.1 firmware with rooted & custom recovery ( prefer TWRP ) installed in order to flash the zip.
It will only work on locked bootloader.

2. Boot into recovery
3. Flash the zip
4. Wipe data / cache & dalvik
5. Reboot
6. Let the device optimize
7. Install the Xposed Installer Apk & Install Update

Just directly flash this.
Prefer to clear internal storage if you are upgrading from 4.X based rom.

Same here. I'm using TWRP. I'll download and try again.

This ZIP is not flashed. ZIP is manually decompress, and 3 ZIP files included. Other files is SIN. Installation Must from PC from tool for flashing. This zip No directly for flashing. Author, please edit installation steps for others. thanx.

unlocket version based on original kernel.sin from .200 and boot normaly( is on my z3)
locked version have NUTs XZDualRecovery 2.8.21 from his side, but can´t say if is fixed or not.

Flashed like OP stated, everything seems fine, but no wifi. Did a dirty flash, no data-wipe, but I did wipe dalvik/cache. Now trying again with data-wipe.

I was resigned. The problem was probably in the bootloader locked or unlocked. Now I hope to be able to install the version [bags D6603] [5.1.1] 23.4 a. Customized_DE 1288 1,200-5031

I have'nt tatapalk. How can I get a firmware that I create problems with recovery-root etc after installing it? I have the bootloader locked and wouldn't unlock. Thank you. I am a neophyte and until now had not had problems with the previous firmaware.Can you help me?

Copy zip-file on SDCARD.
Go to recovery.
Factory Reset (recommended).
Install zip-file.

Damn, this version doesn't have any recovery.
So, I've made my own "Customized DE" incl. DualRecovery and SuperSU (for SGP521)

No root..no recovery..
I don't have root..neither do I have recovery..is it just me ??

My SGP521 is just back from Sony Service Center and I see they flashed onto it 23.0.1.A.3.12. In Service Menu the Phone Software Version and Customization Version are not matching: 1278-4804 vs 1281-8152. Have you seen this before, is it a problem? I attached screenshot picture from Service Menu.
Can you tell what steps are required to flash your Prerooted 23.4.A.1.232 onto this Stock 23.0.1.A.3.12 SGP521 with not-matching version numbers?

You can flash this prerooted . If you want, you can then change the customization number by editing system/build.prop using RootExplorer or Build Prop Editor.

Thanks, but for those steps to do BackupTA v9.11, I need to first flash old firmware like 17.1.2.A.0.314? Or can I do those steps with current Stock firmware 23.0.1.A.3.12? I think EasyRootv5 method was patched already in 23.0.1.A.3.12 right?
Edit: Flashed with Flashtool 17.1.2.A.0.314 HK Unbranded from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2782628 ( mega link ).
Rooted with EasyRoot v12.4 via adb successfully, Installed XZDualRecovery v2.8.24 via adb successfully, but BackupTA v9.11 failed to backup TA file.
So had to backup TA manually from adb root shell (adb shell, su, dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/TA of=/sdcard/TA.img)
Then flashed from Recovery your zip of this thread SGP521_23.4.A.1.232_1281-7867_R4C_flashable.zip
Everything looks good!

Only question, has anyone confirmed that Xposed works on this 23.4.A.1.232 Firmware? There are reports of Sony 5.1 Firmware causing bootloop if you try to install Xposed:

- Sony seems to have shipped some ROMs with corrupted services.odex (the embedded .dex is invalid). Those ROMs will bootloop with a "Fatal signal 6" or "No pending exception expected: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException" error, which I unfortunately cannot fix (see https://github.com/rovo89/Xposed/issues/64)

If someone is running Xposed successfully on this ROM can you say what version of flashable zip and what version of Xposed installer you are running?

Xposed confirmed working on this ROM. Using: xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip and XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk from Xposed thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Not sure what Sony ROMs have the bootloop problem because of corrupted services.odex, but the ROM of this thread seems ok.

Oh no not good you could always go back to kitkat and root again. hope you get it sorted.

I flashed this and got a error message set_perm some changes failed.
I rebooted and it had upgraded to 232 but I lost root and custom recovery .
Not going to bother sorting it as my Z5 Premium is on pre order and should be here in a few weeks .

Flashed it over .200 and worked perfectly. Thanks mate!

Wipe the dalvak cache after you flashed the rom? does your phone have a locked bootloader or unlocked? cause this is for locked bootloaders.

My bootloader is locked. I forgot to wipe dalvak cache after flashing thats probably why.

You won't be able to update OTA or even with PC Companion. You will get a error message, all because of the modified System.

Coming from 5.1.1, I wipe system, cache, dalvik, then flash this and will end up with root and working recovery? Which recovery is included in here, is it 3.0.0-2?
Did you use Wolfbreaks method to achieve working recovery or what did you do?
Also, have you tried flashing it yourself?

Yes , after you have to be on 5.1.1 and recovery workers and root, author pre-roted firmware respected Vaytich with 4pda , I trust him. I did not put
firmware includes Recovery TWRP 3.0.2

I made a pre-rooted flashable rom but after flash i lost root and recovery. And now i'm on 6.0.1 without root and recovery. How can i root again without flashing android 4.4??

My Z3 has 2.8GB free space and it keeps offering me to move stuff to my sdcard.
I´d like to format it as internal storage and I heard it´s possible with Android 6.

Adoptable storage is Not enabled so I try to enable it like in sgs7 but it didn't work correctly -- after fill up of internal memory ~10gb, system doesn't install apps on sd, sd was partitioned as mixed 50/50, because if 100% of the card is adopted theres problem with making photos/videos .Tested with sandisk 128gb uhs1.

You will not be able to do OTA, but you can just get a recovery and flash the zip that has been posted earlier in this thread!

for the flashable file. . . .

As it's a .zip you flash it in recovery, however don't forget to wipe system, data, cache and dalvik if you want to live safe
