[Q] Windows Mobile and Android - HD2 General

Hello all still having this wonderful device HTC HD2,
Directly asking my question - Is it possible Windows Mobile and Android to work on the same device? I think people call it dual boot. Unfortunately I couldn't find a solution. Badly there are still apps only available on WM which are very precious but I also very much like the easiness of Android.
I am using tytung Android 4.4.4 KK and I am having EU version of HD2.
Appreciate any guides,
BR,

Thank yo poyensa! I manage booting both Android and Windows Mobile.
Now second question. Can I boot also Ubuntu together with Android on the NativeSD?
Cheers,

I think is possible but I have never tried: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975081

Is there a dual Boot of Android and Windows on The HTC Kraiser Mobile?

I was wondering is it out there to have a dual boot(pick at the start) Which OS you want to run on the HTC 8925.(android or Windows Mobile).
Also what is the latest ROM version out for Android on the kaiser?
Would it be possible to run a dual boot of android 2.2(or the latest version and windows mobile 6.5(or the latest version), and it run smoothly?
If someone can make that happen, and it would run smooth, that would be awesome.
I am asking because i saw a phone a company from china was selling on a website that had this dual boot, and would like to do it on my tilt.
I am a first time writer long time reader so sorry if I have done something wrong
Yall guys are geniuses though. and i cant wait to learn the lingo.
If anyone can program this, can you please do it?
Thanks,
There's a sub forum for Android in the Kaiser section, so that's probably a better place to start.

Android 2.2 on HD2

I have a brand new HD2 and wanted to wipe WM completely and have only 1 OS (Android). From the searches i did. It appears that there is no way to have only 1 os.. You MUST have WM and put the andriod os on the SD card..
Can the experts who have been in this field confirm.
If it is possible, can someone please advise how?
thanks.
We will be able to soon. The dev's are currently fine tuning the linux boot loader. Once they release it we will be able to have our choice of OS. Eg: WM 6.5 WM 7 or Android!!!! Really looking forward to it. Will breath new life into a fantastic phone!
man it's in plain sight

Until NAND development is completed you must have Windows Mobile as your primary rom and load Android via haret. Information about this is available all over the HD2 Android General Forum if you want to learn more about it

Android permanent on the HD2?

Hi all,
I am absolutely new in this world of Android ROM's and have respect for those guys who are able to make Android work on the HD2 but I have a question.
Is it ever going to be possible to flash an Android ROM on the HTC HD2 so it is permanently installed so overwriting Windows Mobile?
dude... check the sticky:

in short, yes it should be coming soon, but it's possible that it will take some more time for NAND roms (internal memory "install") to be better/faster/more complete than SD
Hi,
Okay, thanks. Would be great when they succeed flashing an Android ROM on the HD2.
Now I got the taste of Android I don't want to go back to Windows. There is so much more possible with Android. Tons of apps and really nice looking and usefull apps.

Sorry to break your bubble, but there's still no Android that can run from NAND yet, so, no, you cant replace WM with android yet. Devs are working on it, tho. As of now, you can only dual boot WM and Android. Frankly, I love the fact that we can have both OS's, I mean, which other phone can do that as good as our beloved HD2 does? And, we also have Ubuntu, and will soon also have Meego and WP7! The HD2 is THE most versatile phone ever!
