This thread is in the G Pad 10.1 section of the forum
The name of the thread is [ROM][ALPHA]AICP_lp_8.0_LG-V400[UNOFFICIAL], so i guess it about the G Pad 8.0
But in the first post it says v400 (which is the LG G Pad 7.0 if I'm not mistaken)
So my question.... Is this rom for the LG G PAD 7.0 v400 Wifi or 8.0 or maybe even 10.1?
I own the 7.0 model, on which I would like to try out this rom.

Rom Version is 8.0 and it is for the for the v400 G Pad 7.0 Wifi
Installed the rom on my LG G PAD 7.0 v400 wifi only.
The rom feels very smooth and fast, is customizable and supports themes.
Bugs:
- When you turn the Wifi off and you want to turn it on again, it doesn't always want turn on.
- YouTube wont play videos (latest app version)
- Auto-rotation doesn't work (bug fixed with update 29-03-2015)
This ROM is awesome!
This ROM is awesome! Only bugs I have are auto-rotate doesn't work and video playback in Netflix and Hulu and some webpages does not work. It's very fast and responsive! Loving it so far.

playing videos is not working in most apps but only in the landscape mode it's probably because you removed ril lib files if not take a look at the ril lib files that probably causes the error.

yes I speak flamish and the variant sold in Belgium and The Netherlands is the same as the one in Germany
and when it comes to the lib files video play might work trough mx but i meant it crashes the device while playing videos in some apps.(build in video player of the app)
is possibly also the case with netflix,...
The cm 12 rom had the same issue but it was fixed in the past build so you could contact the dev.
for example try ligtv(turkish football app) watch a visdeo from within the app in portrait>everything is fine watch a video in landscape>device crashes if you want i can try looking for a solution.

Brother did you try turning of nu player in developer options... Heard it made video recording to work in many cases!

Hi DEV,
below were the issues which I stumbled upon during my initial boot.
1) Button menu missing-Couldn't see Recent app switcher(Am I missing something here help req)
2)Network Issue during initial Boot.had to restart twice to get the network.
3)Camera FC-(It was fixed once I installed Phantom Kernel)

no,didn't try..and I do not use layers , sometimes install theme from google play
stock camera and video recording n playback working fine..recent app button switcher setting is missing....for those who r facing problem in camera make sure u have tick awesome player instead nu player in developer option...

Hope you guys are fine. As you guys know the development for our beloved OnePlus X is increasing day by day; thought I might share what I found in one of Opo Chinese forum with the permission of the Dev who developed this rom.
I've provided the description simple as much as possible using google translate(God Damn it!!)
ColorOS 2.1
Color is everything to us. It shapes us, molds us, and makes us who we are. ColorOS was designed to bring that same sense of excitement and warmth to the smartphone world. An OS that combines speed, efficiency and stability to bring pixels to life.
My personal Guessing how this rom was developed:
As you might know the Oppo A30 device is a direct clone of our OnePlus X. So, it appears the Dev has used the same sources to compile the Rom for our onyx
New Build Check here for download link and changelogs
Features:
1. Color OS v2.1 based on Android 5.1.1(LP)
2. Stable and smooth Experience(Trust me, you'll love the smoothness )
3. Support the Three-Stage Switch, Black Gesture
4. Many features, you can feel it on your own experience
Flashing Procedure:
If you don't know what is this, then please stay away. Rest of them can continue further.
Unlock Bootloader (you might think this is a lame one)
Flash Twrp recovery or similar
Download and copy rom on phone
Go into recovery (phone off, press power button + Volume up until some seconds from vibration, then release only power button for 2 seconds and release also volume button)
Do a nandroid backup (don't blame me if you mess up something at the end)
Do all wipes (except internal memory and ext SD, Wipe section)
Tap Install voice
Select the rom
Swype to flash
Reboot
Getting Root:
Couldn't get the attachments from the original post so tried flashing SUv2.52 and voila, I got root access. You can check the Screenshot for confirmation
If you don't have time for google, you can download SU from here or here which I used.
Bugs:
Everything should be working fine as I couldn't find any bug listed in the original post
[*]Not really a bug, couldn't get Google service to work on this, something you might want to think if you plan to use this as your daily driver
Still many part of the rom is in chinese, hopefully the Dev can bring a global variant of the OS to our device.
Getting Google Play Services to work
First download this Google installer file from here. Once you install the downloaded app you'll be getting a startup like the below image:

Please make sure you're connected to your wifi or mobile data. You'll now be prompted to accept the installation like given below:
Once you've accepted all the installations, you'll now be able to add your google account and you'll be having the Playstore. Once you've setup your google account you can use the play store to download all your favorite google apps I guess this makes this rom a daily driver

Just now I installed the ROM. Its very smooth. However there are no GAPPS pre installed on the UI
I installed GAPPS for 5.1.1 through TWRP and the installation was successful. But after rebooting the device, I found no GAPPS installed on it. weird.
Is there any solution for this?? Please let me know asap.

Prerequisites:
- Battery:
Charge your Galaxy S4 Active, 85% so that you won't encounter any battery related problems while updating it.
- Recovery: (optional)
You need a custom recovery like TWRP installed on your device. If you have install CM13 you can pass this step.

How to flash :
Backup your device, in case you wanted to revert back.
Optional :
Download the twrp-3.0.2-0-jactivelte.img.tar from the link below at the top. Moreover, you need to install Odin. Then add twrp-3.0.2-0-jactivelte.img.tar to PDA. Don't forget to put the devices into download mod ( to enter it press volume down and power )
Flash MIUI ROM :
1. (Recomended) Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Cache, Factory Reset into recovery mod ( volume up and power )
2. Flash the ROM, No need to flash GAPPS, is already in the ROM
3. Reboot, and wait it. The first boot may take 10 to 15 minutes
4. Enjoy it

The battery seems good, you can perfectly use your phone a day. Small story, I was listening music 30 to 40 minutes without losing a percent. However, I will add some tweak on the next build.

Yes the Wi-Fi seems have some issues, but it's works. Did it work or not at all. The issue is that the WI-FI didn't received to much signal. It's still received 2MO or less it's depends on your internet connection.

it's my only and main phone so i'm going to test it now...as it's already midnight and i don't think there will be important calls
i will test it and report back
Edit: sound in call is fine no one complains so far
there is random restarting issue on switching keyboard language and switching used keyboard i'm gonna try to use another keyboard than Gboard and see what's going
sometimes it says no SIM while is till can make call don't know if i can receive but will test it for tomorrow and for the no sim it can be fixed after few restarts ! i have big hope in this rom i like it and i guess i will keep it if you kept developing it!!

The SIM issue is provided by the keyboard issue. After using your keyboard, press the button back, to prevent this issue. If the SiM card have an issue, restart your device. I will try to fix next week I think I have some work this week. Sorry.
I'm downloading it now. wish it will be the perfect replacement for tw and cm. every one knows miui roms are perfect(if port it correctly) for the battery life, performance, and its smooth and it s beatiful

Sure but there is not any original tread of it.
My review of this rom
1. Boots pretty fast
2. UI is smooth and fluid
3. VOLTE works out of the box. It doesn't show VOLTE icon but it works
3 There is no fingerprint support. Doesn't even show fingerprint in settings (i have FPC)
4. Camera works for pics but video recording doesn't work. Shows error camera not found when you try to record. I didn't try 3rd party apps.
5. No sound in calls
6. Most stuffs are in chinese. left panel on homescreen is entirely in chinese
7 No gesture support
I tried flashing agni kernal but found same issues.
Volte not work in my case.
At first boot it works but after reboot it doesn't work.

4.Third party camera work perfect
5.Calling work perfectly for me
6.Rom is chaina beta so most things are in Chinese
7.Gesture may work by disabling hardware keys.

Change firmware-files in zip and delete one entry in update-script, because kate use one firmware-file less - now you can use it on your kate....

Better thing is wait till end of july as Mi Max is getting global miui10 by end of july so we can get global port which might have no or less bugs and can be use as daily driver.
