Hi guys! I am back with one more thread to continue the fun with you guys, and this time I have partnered with my buddy Hetunandu to test this great ROM!
Frankly I didn't thought that Doixanh would still continue developing after the huge successes of FroyoBread & GingerDX. But on May 25, 2012, he, along with recognized Team Fun, made IScreamDX and surprised us all!
FYI, this thread is showing the bugs that appeared in IScreamDX v004. So don't go off topic!
I really want to say thank you to all the Team Fun members & Doixanh for supporting us and developing this superb ROM!

:: v004 Bugs ::
- There is some known bugs as listed by Doixanh: FM Radio. (X)
Solution: Wait for coming versions.
- Video Decoder is partially fixed because of the OpenMax Video Codecs, so videos can only be played perfectly on low quality. (X)
Solution: It can be fixed by installing any video player with its own video decoder, such as Mobo or MX Video Player. It's still a bit laggy and low quality, and for Youtube videos, there's no solution though.
- Speakers start to crackle when you set the volume near to the maximum volume. (X)
Solution: Don't set it too high, and reconfigure your settings in Equalizer to almost flat bass and treble.
OR
Use this SRS Fix by Rohin Zaraki.
- The stock browser is laggy. (X)
Solution: If you can't stand it, simply download it from Play Store. And, if you don't want to see the app also, delete from system/app.
- Low ram available makes it easy to miss calls and stuffs. (X)
Solution: Try using RAM Manager (if you dont mind a little little more battery drain)(and do not use SUPERCHARGER) and use Swapper.
- When the screen is off, you want to get to the homescreen button using the hardware buttons, you can feel the vibration of the phone when you press the screen but there is no display. (X)
Solution: Keep pressing the home and lock hard buttons until the display shows up.
-Applications force closes without any dialogue box. (X)
Solution: ?
- Back button does not end apps all the time. (?)
Solution: ?
- Problem in Google Play Store downloading. (X)
Solution: After that error, redownload the same app again. And when it is in processing, leave Play Store (Don't kill the app.). This will free some ram and thus download may start in some time.
- The notification window is empty sometimes after dragging down. (X)
Solution: Try exiting some apps running in background. It is caused by low RAM.

Thanks for including my Audio Fix . For the low RAM, I'd recommend using Ram Manager instead of Supercharger stability and battery reasons, y'know ? Anyways, good luck with this thread and may it have as much success as your GDX thread

Also please enlist one more bug(or check first , if it is only with me or with the rom),
Wifi tethering isn't working for me.
So i tested and the result is we can use that but a small change is required.
Because we are taking it form a qvga phone the status bar is is not working as if we change our phones lcd density to a lower ones then also status bar FC.
And i checked that we are getting 20 MB more free ram and some new options.

nice thread but i want to report one bug - sim card isn't working with some operators (it doesn't work for me, i have O2), that's the reason why i'm back to minicm9

About the CM9 mod, we also have it in Themes&Apps.
And about the wifi tethering, you are saying setting to lower screen density, it can work?? Or is it separated bug?

As far as I remember, this was fixed by CM already? I don't have a v003 build anymore (only my internal newer builds) so I cannot test.

Possible fix for unresponsive screen when locked
Close all apps before locking your phone. I.e. by long press home button and then fling to close each app.. this will help.. mayb.. please confirm

This seems to be a feature of some Xposed module, like "Gravity Box", "Halo Floating Window", "Floating Android" or so...
You must have Root access.

Thanks for replying, but, bro, have you used Note 3 with 5.0 update? This is my phone and what you seeing is a stock feature.
All I want to know is the proper way of enabling this. This is called Pop-up window. This can be enabled by a flick from corner, but 98% of the time, I end up opening Notifications. So wanted any Note 3 user to help me learning this.

Oh, sorry, I'm still on KK...
Maybe you must go to a Display settings or so. Or go to Ssung site and download the latest version of the manual...

I have Dark Lord Note 5 port instead of official Note 3 Lollipop ROM. So I am not sure if this works in official Note 3 ROM but at least in Note 5 port you can also long press title bar of app in recent apps list to open it as popup window. Also if you have two apps in split screen view you can long press circle in border of split view and drag currently used app to popup view.

When in an app, slide in diagonally from top right corner to around bottom left area. You may have to try a few times to get used to it.

First of all there are multiple Note 5 port ROMs in this forum. Some of them might be more stable & bugfree than others. Personally I haven't tried any other Note 5 port ROM than Dark Lord. Also I have never had official Note 3 Lollipop ROM in my phone so it makes comparision bit difficult too.
Based on my own experience Dard Lord ROM has been stable enough to stay in my daily use. I have noticed however occasional lagging for example in recent apps list. It has happened for me only after waking up phone from standby mode. Other than that I haven't experienced any issues. Also I don't know if lagging is caused by porting ROM from Note 5 or some of many customizations I have done like Xposed modules or if it is just common to all Samsumg Touchwiz Lollipop ROMs.
In conclusion I think Note 5 ports are quite stable and bugfree. If you decide to try one I would probably recommend to try some other than Dard Lord since Dard Lord development has stopped for now. Also it is highly recommended to read all the installation instruction carefully and read about known issue and fixes to them from thread of your choice Note 5 port ROM beforehands.

Most of the Note 5 ports are based on DarkLord's Note 3. Most of the ports simply add more custom features or fix bugs that were valid in DarkLord's port.

I would say about 95% .
Requires user to read the instructions and browse the thread for any problems .
Original DL rom is for me near enough perfect .

Instructions :
Downlaod the file, place it in external sd not phone memory
Rebooot to recovery(twrp)
Go to wipe, advance wipe,chosse all but external sd,start wipe
After that go back to main menu,chosse install,chose up a level,chosse external, chosse the file.you just downloaded, swipe to confirm flash
Done,after a few minutes you will be free to setup and use right away
You should get l speed too for battery optimization and for faster performance

Pre rooted with super su, to enable root go to about phone,tap build number a few times until you become developer. Go to developer option, at the first or second row root acces should appear, enable it, go to super su app to update binary, done

Point is that its a pain to sort through all pages and links, and a bit confusing to find the latest build/ least bugs/ patches etc. IMO I think OP should update his first post accordingly.

yeah, I think it's much better to open a thread for each ROM. It's a huge mess and often you don't know to what ROM the comments refer to.
btw, is this rom multi-language?
And what does "quite stable" mean?

I recommend flashing this rom. It's way more solid than the miui dev roms.
+1 for having a new, separate thread to discuss this rom specifically. Not sure why that guy is complaining.

Last, 7.12, global stable rom is solid like a rock, running it for 3rd day. Xposed works as well, only modded , not usual one. So double check before writing.

Looks like it is Multi-Language.
All these custom Roms are pretty similar. Made by Chinese Dev "bule" with camera fix by Russian "nofearnohappy" from 4pda.

The miui rom keep disconnect and reconnect me when im on wifi and its really annoying cuz im playing online game so yeah custom rom for me

Yes.

What about the mic issues? In MIUI it was the case when recording suddenly switched to the noise-cancellation mic and it causes a lot of troubles during the call.

Spurious processes running in the background.
What is system server running in the background, there seems to be a few extra processes running not in the official cm12.1 i was running on my s5 before i bought the note 2

Wow glad I finally decided to check back to see some more roms for this phone. I had been using one of the first aosp roms for this phone without vibrate. While it was working fine, I did miss the vibrate function. Checked back and saw this one and it looked pretty damn good. Installed it with no issues at all and so far it is working perfectly.

Can't connect to web with data connection. Only WiFi.

I'm kind of surprised this thread did not get any bigger. Seems a lot of people have overlooked a really good rom. I've been using this rom for 6 months now and I still have 0 problems with it. Don't know how much longer this phone is going to last but it's still chuggin along. Did have to finally replace the battery as it developed a bulge in it (got this phone when it first came out so it's been while). Other than that I'm good. This rom is solid.

I believe that alot of roms available today have lots of unused features, which use valuable storage space and RAM , and so i am going to be making a rom, Which has features that the community want, not what the rom maker thinks people will like

Cyanogenmod is already good enough for me, but great idea

LED light for notifications
Inbiult Night mode (like Bluelight filter)
Inbuilt adblock
Better bass for earphones (or inbuilt V4A)
Regular updates / Bug fixes

Awesome !, i like it .
one comment though, the LED light can only be activated when the charger is plugged in physically, this is because of a hardware restriction.

Can't we have double tap to wake up features?

Double tap to sleep would be good as well.

I'm just good with a slim or pa build
and a good, FULLY FEATURED kernel, packed to the gills with every module humanly possible

2.Tap to wake.
3. Colour LED notifications. (like blackberry)
4. "Default write disk" option in settings>storage
5. Usb storage mode. [mtp has very very very slow and laggy data transfer ability]

Bro first of all thanks for this thread so we can share our favorite features with u.... I personally like a ported rom such as xperia rom, MIUI rom, flyme os, color os etc roms.. Please do consider my suggestion... ��

Forget the led unless you plan on re-engineering the hardware.

Yeah , colour led is not physically possible on the Moto G3 unless you feel like opening the phone up, and modding the hardware itself

sad to know. I thought some app could set different colours on the led.

I like simple Roms with key features only, constant builds from PA or CrDroid would make it.
And of course a custom kernel, custom Roms without a good kernel are not worthy hehe.

One thing most people are looking for in a rom
Almost everyone is expecting a rom to be battery friendly. So, it would be good to consider this aspect in your rom.

Yes , but with a good battery level comes lower performance. Finding the right balance is difficult

Thanks man, I know that, my question is different.

I've tried it for two days, it's actually good but it has some minor bugs like the vibration strength too low (for system keys or the keyboard) and the screen rotation always enabled on the lock screen and recents panel, details that will bothers you after a while (at least in my case), but overall it's a good ROM.

PA is super smooth when comparing to other ROM, I can notice it when rotate the phone

Using PA about 2 weeks. So smooth. No problem with rotation. Playing PUBG and Mobile Legend is fine. Batery also fine.

Same here.
Using 1 week now.
Extreme smooth.
Good battery.
Gcams working.
FBE and old cam.
Just very few customisations.
Bummer there is no xda thread.
Only telegram group.
