keyboard missing still after removing input method from the script

Hi there. Really been looking for something like this for a long time. I've edited the script to the way I like it but the keyboard is still missing wich is making the phone useless without it. Seems after removing inputmethod from the script the keyboard still disappears....
Any help wud be appreciated

Keyboard now just force closing every 2 secs on v1.2 lol thanks for the reply on the q&a thread lol wud be perfect if working as a wud be ........

wifi issues on g900h
I tried this script. It works really well on g900h lollipop. Was having keyboard issues but now its fixed. One issue that i have encountered from the initial version of the script is that after flashing this script my wifi keeps forgetting passwords. I have to re-enter the password everytime i turn the wifi on back again. Also the wifi doesnt switches on and connects instantly like it used to before. Wifi turns on real slow and sometime it doesnt even switches on, i have to reboot the device.
Rest of all the script is superb. I get amazing battery life after flashing this script and everything's snappier than before. Please look into and fix the wifi issue as i really like the script.

I didn't have any feedback yet regarding this specific device but if you are on KitKat or Lollipop it should work fine. But please create a Nandroid Backup before you run the cleaner. Let us know the result.

I'd like to keep PolarisViewer as it's not easy to get it back once removed. Could you pls add an option to keep it in the next release?

I didn't try it before barebones cleaner. I installed after I ran the cleaner on Malbert's Pure N5 Rom. It works on my other stock s5.

Hi, since CM12.1 is supposed to have dual SIM card support from 5.1 I was wondering if anyone tried flashing cm12.1 -TN-klte on G900FD to see if it would connect to mobile networks?
From what I've read, flashing CM12 klte to S5 Duos model makes everything work EXCEPT being able to connect to mobile network and noone yet figured out how to fix it.
Anyone had success with this ROM?6

Klteusc bugs
New to this thread but have been running these builds. Great work! This is only the third device I have installed a custom rom on. The build from yesterday morning broke outgoing messages so I rolled back to 4/4. Bluetooth audio stutters. I run SwiftKey and it seems a custom keyboard will force close on occasion. Calling delay is fixed for me. My cellular data takes some time after reboot to connect. Loving 5.1!

System UI crashes
Every time I update the rom to the latest version I get the System UI crashses error right after startup! This happens since the 11.04 version!
I tried even the 13.04 version and it still crashes after update!

great work, the best CM based I met here.
the only issue (a bit major), is when i tried to replace the lock screen UI,
from Dialer (Default) to Maps (google), the rom had UI crushes, and only wipe data release it.

@vinman12 : I have downloaded and installed VM12.2-20150424-3.0.0-klte on my Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) and it's fast, stable and cool!
All funtions I use (i don't use NFC for instance) are working fine!

Buttons on Lower Screen
The added soft buttons (similar to what the LG G3 uses) on bottom of screen... I see that there is an edit menu to move them etc; however, is there a way to remove them? (Either way, It wont even let me edit them, I cant drag and drop them nor double click on them, etc)

Thank you, this is a great ROM so far. Love the stability and smoothness of it compared to the s*** 5.0 build from Sprint.
My only question is how, if possible, can I remove the on-screen softkeys? The GS5 has capacitive buttons built in for app switcher and Back. So I have 2 each of Home, App Switcher, and Back buttons. I've scoured Google, XDA, and every setting I can find in the phone itself, and the best I can find is this page, but it only seems to allow me to add buttons and not take them away.

better you use the stock ROM dxlf .. because I think this rom stable with stock ROM dxlf

issue in connecting to cellular network
ROM is unable to connect to the cellualr network it shows only emergency calls only .. it initially worked for few minutes and then it started to disconnect. my sim is airtel and roaming by default.
And iam unable to search for the network both in manual mode and automatic mode if i connect to AIRTEL by gods graces my mobile restarts automatically. i have flashed and reinstalled this rom for 10 times. i try even wipe data cahe and davik cache

This ROM is more stable if you use a stock ROM fireware DXLF may also be able to minimize bugs result .. : D

change your kernel to hell#50 then flash a RIL fix .zip that suit your region

So, somehow I got Marshmallow booting on my a5.
Right now enough works for me to attempt to daily-driver with it!
I'll share the alpha since I have some sort of network connectivity going.
I keep most of my stuff on public github anyway. use the cm-13.0 branch. not everything needed is up there but the basic device folder and vendor folders are. android_device_htc_a5 and android_vendor_htc. Anything done outside those folders in CM is just dodging build errors as they pop up.
It's still fun to see any Android 6.0 on this before the official HTC release.
I'm putting this in general so feel free to share opinions etc.
Bear in mind this development happens in my free time so progress may be sporadic.

At this very moment a usable build is uploading to my androidfilehost a5 rom folder.
Usable, at least, for the Virgin Mobile chl model.
Working LTE, MMS, SMS, call in and call out.
I think the location is working too but not completely sure.
I'll put up a proper ROM thread in the morning since it'll take a while to upload and the rules say I can't post it until it's actually available for download.
Regardless you can grab the first alpha release as soon as it gets up there.
Happy flashing.
Standard rules apply, clean flash strongly recommended, wipe system too or you may have gapps issues should you be using them.
Of course if it somehow fries your phone I'm not responsible.
Enjoy the first taste of Marshmallow on the a5 courtesy of all the hard work upstream at CM, and what patchwork I've hacked together for the latest greatest.
'Ware, WiFi won't turn on so skip it during setup, and messing with Bluetooth causes reboots.
And it's an alpha so it may scare your nice old granny.

It's probably got the same dual sim problems as cm12... though you get to be a guinea pig f you so choose.
and like I said, it's still uploading and will take a little while (translated: couple hours maybe.)

Sure it was cm13 and not cm12? I've not ever gotten camera to connect in cm13 yet.
The no sim detected sounds right though.

Because you are on not public M. M. Alpha.
The M comes with new camera api that is not exactly compatible with old camera driver's.
Advice is to revert back to Lollipop.

that the front camera is active but the basic one in not ...

Did it work on stock firmware?

No it didn't work on stock firmware ...
and no there is no one disassembled the phone before ...

There are two tips of the main camera sensors.
Before of that you tried with CM 12.1 with & without camera fix? As the fix addresses just that - other sensor.
If it didn't work anyhow with CM12.1 then problem is elsewhere.
When & exactly how did you're rare cam stopped working?

I tried all these things but It didn't work ?
My camera stopped work when efs files of my phone changed ....

Go to Sam mobile, search for the latest firmware, firmwares for your region, download & flash them. You will also find the instructions there how to flash. For this you will also need to revert back to default recovery I hope you made a Flasfify backup of it. Also I hope you staid on EXT4 file system.
The only way to flash back proper full stock with all blobs & everything.

If you don't know how to do it find someone who does it for a living & pay 5~10€ for it.

For this you will also need to revert back to default recovery I hope you made a Flasfify backup of it. Also I hope you staid on EXT4 file system.
The only way to flash back proper full stock with all blobs & everything.

I did that, but it didn't change anything ... unfortunately
