Hi just pre ordered S6 edge and found that they will have only black and white edition and the memory size is 32 GB to start with that's the available one on release date it seems , so i went ahead and checked in all the website to see if they have any pre book for 64 gb and found no amazon or Samsung doesn't carry but flip-kart does so , i'm planning to book one through flip-kart also will see who gets the 64 gb first .any other inputs.
Finally a Indian specific thread
I also pre ordered black 32 GB s6 edge. As per the Samsung dealer, 64GB version will be available after 2 months from the launch so i don't have any other option than 32 Gb version which is disappointing

Was anybody able to figure out if it supports Bands 3,40 ( Jio ) ? Samsung stores have no clues about this and the website just mentions "cat 6"
Knowing samsung, they just might release a "4G" S6 in a few months like they did with the S4 and S5.

As of now only white and black and 32gb s6,s6 edge , so we have to wait for another month or 2 to get other variants and colors .

Got a message from Samsung that i will be getting phone on 10th april.
if you know someone from the middle east the green will come to bahrain in 2-3 months. Here in khobar one shop is selling the green for a hefty price of 3500 saudi riyals (just coz no green released yet here)

I prebooked on 5th and got a msg same day that I will get the phone on 10th . But that looks like a standard sms from Samsung? Was this a separate sms confirming delivery on 10th?

They were supposed to give a coupon to pay the full amount later on. I did not get any message when I booked, nor any confirmation for the delivery data. I booked on 29th. Maybe you payed the full amount.

They are all 16Gb.
The store I checked had 4 white ones in stock. They said they might receive some blue tomorrow morning. If so, I'm going go down there, compare the two colours and buy the one I like.
nice to know they got white, hopefully that means the online stores wont have a delay on white.

Good old Dubai the bastion of capitalism where the gulf in society is bigger than anywhere else in the world mind you anytime ive been there it's been amazing and despite it's faults i miss the place although im not sure i could live there full time with their outrageous laws, i remember when the HTC HD2 was first released Dubai too seemed to get that phone first.
Another UK retailer pricing the 16GB Wifi only 2014 edition at £479.
My colleague reserved the note 2014 edition on Friday at John Lewis Oxford Street in London:
Notification via telephone call when stock arrives, reservations held for 7 days after stock arrival and
best of all no deposit required.
Cashier gave an estimated arrival date of October 14th.
They even managed to grab an inventory screenshot. (Attached)
Strangely, the colour is not specified in the inventory listing.
Exact John Lewis Product code: 86010167 (would advise using the product code to avoid delays & confusion)
Above product code is not currently returning any results on the John Lewis Website.
Not sure if the product is on the system across all John Lewis store or only at Oxford Street.

That would be with 20% VAT, so excluding VAT is ~£399.
I just received the following email from John Lewis Customer Service Representative:
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the 32GB Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 with Wi-Fi in black.
We currently do not know when we are likely to receive stock of the above item; however, the product code you provided is for the 16GB model. And it apparently had been in stock from earlier on this week!! They only have the White 16GB wifi version available at the moment, no information/availability regarding any other model/colours, no accessories and it cost £479.00 inc VAT.
I wanted the Black version but mannn I could not wait! Ended up purchased the White one haha, the screen is really awesome took me literally 2 minutes to crack and impulse buy !!

I found an ebay seller selling the 32gb from the US - however he ran out but assured me hw would have some more on wednesday.
Its just irritating that we can get it outside the UK but not in the country.
o you have to pay any vat if ordered from europe?
The 16Gb version is also available on the German Amazon website and seems to be shipping to the UK
Okay the press release reported said that 14 November was the pre order date.
Well the Samsung UK web site mentions the Note Edge but it is not available to pre order. CPW say it is not available for pre order and think it has not been fully tested for UK networks. Stratford Samsung store are not taking pre orders. Vodafone say they are still negotiating with Samsung.

No news but I too was eagerly waiting for more information today.
Vodafone offered me a superb retention deal on the Note 4 but I declined because I dislike the build quality and back cover of the note 4.
However I am willing to overlook these for the extra screen in the edge.
The edge should not be priced higher than the note 4 regardless of additional costs of manufacturing. It should be priced at the same level as the note 4 and simply be the product to tempt customers to Samsung where the Note 4 was not enough. I know I will not pay a premium for this phone and will be expecting the same retention deal when I call Voda on the 28th.
CPW now say Edge is coming in December
It won't be long at all for pre orders. Samsungmobileuk tweeted 8 hours ago approx a cryptic message that was easy to decipher however the price with be expensive at first.
Good thing I didn't wait. I am very happy with my purchase. Using my 3 network sim in it. Super fast and super everything!

Great find. I am getting my one from Korean eBay seller. UK prices from Korea seem to vary from £890 to £760. Cheaper options from Japan but not sure these are LTE compatible with the UK.

There are no info about release date in Lebanon, you can just reserve one.

O lucky u my friend here in bahrain I tried to tell them please give the device at 9th as its a gift for my wife and the said we can't it's impossible e cause its breaking the rules with samsung ..... shame , please let me know how is the device any scratches anything because some customers for the states claim they have all scratched devices out F the box

It's hard plastic but pretty useless as it provides quite minimal protection. Jarir do have other official cases available like the flip and view cases.
I can confirm that my S6 and my friends S6 both have the issue decribed in the linked thread - though its pretty hard to see it in mine, it's definitely there.
Another thing, the shipping firmware for the Saudi region is ANCIENT, almost prototype like - dated 28th Feb! It doesn't even have alphabetical sorting of the apps yet and the battery is so terrible that its almost unusable. I charged it to 100% yesterday and used it at half brightness for 1 hour and 41 minutes and the battery fell to 17%. Let it charge again overnight, woke up at 6:00am and haven't touched it at all because I'm scared and saw at 8:30am that it fell to 67% without any usage. I think they're not letting retailers sell it before the 10th because they're going to push out an update that the user is to download immediately.
shoudlnt you be getting an update as soon as you open it? i remember the note 4 when i bought it asked immediately to be updated and i hope that fixes your batatery problem
I think samsung rushed the phone to be released but the battery should not be that bad at all as I know.. I'm trying to get my device soon and let's see if I'll have the same issues or not

I just pre-ordered mine from Vodafone in the UK, and they're apparently shipping pre-orders for March 8th instead of 11th!

Pre-ordered a black S7 from T-mobile! Might actually switch to them too from AT&T to avoid the hassle of cancelling plans and unlocking the phone haha. Mine shows Galaxy S7 on the order status/email.

out of interest does the gear vr show on your order. i ordered mine sunday and so have no gear vr showing but samsung say i will get still so just curios

you have to put your email on the samsung registration page and then after march 4 claim the VR once you get the handset. they dont come from the carrier
