S6 Reduces Bloatware - Galaxy S6 General

Yes Samsung may have reduced Bloatware, but I bet AT&T and other carriers do Not.

Which G935 variant should i buy for Cricket, but still be able to switch carriers wit

I use Cricket and would like to get an S7 edge and be able to use Samsung pay. But i'd like to still retain having the frequency bands to allow me to switch to another service if i end up disliking cricket later on.
But there's a few questions i cant seem to nail down answers for through searching...
It seems like the G935F is a great choice (exynos and no bloat) but Sammy pay is still somewhat questionable on working? It seems like people are getting it to work, but would i be able to purchase an EU model from amazon and it would just work?
Are the G935A and G935T models the same phone but locket to each carrier, or do they legitimately lack the bands the others support?

The AT&T G935A, T-Mobile G935T and Verizon phones can be unlocked to work with any sim card,
however they can never be rooted. The Samsung pay feature will work fine in any of these 3 phones.
The international S7 Edge G935F comes unlocked and is very easy to root but Samsung pay is not
compatible with it even if it's not rooted.
The only Samsung phones which are fully compatible with Samsung Pay are those which come with
the Samsung Pay app in the phone's app drawer and are not rooted.
Good luck,
Have a great day,

S7 Edge 935F vs new 935U

I am deciding which one to buy. I do not care about rooting the device. I do care about battery and performance. Planing to use it on USA T-mobile.
So what your thoughts?
Any answers?

The SM-G935F is the international version with an Exynos processor and it has an unlocked bootloader and can be rooted very easily.
The SM-G935U is the unlocked Snapdragon version available for the USA. It has a locked bootloader but root has been established for it.
If you care about performance there are Pro's and Con's to each device. I suggest doing some research about the real world performance and feel from the users in the Galaxy S7 Edge forums and see what everyone is talking about.
I'd I was making the choice I would buy the SM-G935F Exynos version. I will not buy another device with a bootloader that cannot be unlocked. That's why I am a Nexus user. Good luck on choosing a device if you are shopping for one.

I am finding the US 935U model is better on battery but once you root it battery life does take a hit. Otherwise,it is very fast without any carrier or Samsung bloat. So if you are looking for specific carrier apps you won't have it on the 935U model.

No updates yet for the 935U either. Still running the May security update.
Thank you guys for all your answers. Seems that is better idea to get the 935F . The performance and the battery are better not to mention the root capability and Custom Roms. The only thing is the warranty in the US, witch is in favor to the 935U.
You also won't have VoLTE/HD calling/Wifi calling with the F. Not sure if you care about those things or not, but something to think about.
I bought the F from b and h photography. One year warranty. Plus you can buy an extended warranty as well for drops and screens. I'm happy and secure with my purchase. Exynos, running basicplus rom, averaging 6 SOT, runs cool. No wifi calling and other little tmobile incentives I'm not missing.

Exynos is more efficient for everyday use.
Quote from gsmarena:
The test consists of two "laps" the first time around is a cold test that looks how quickly apps are loaded from storage. There the Exynos has a slight lead, perhaps the multi-core advantage gives it a boost.
The second lap checks if phones keep apps into RAM so the user can switch between them without having to reload the app completely. Last year it became clear that TouchWiz is pretty bad at it, but Samsung had supposedly fixed the issue.
And it sort of has - the Exynos-based Galaxy S7 flips back to apps very quickly while the S820 variant reloads them from scratch.

Unlocked S8 vs Sprint S8

Debating on a new phone. S8 is among one of my picks. I'm coming from a Moto X Pure unlocked device. I am most likely staying with sprint, and am currently off contract.
Is there any benefit of the unlocked phone vs Sprint's version for rooting/unlocking bootloader/development/etc?
I think the one thing I seen was the "Sprint Exclusive: HPUE - extends Sprint's 2.5 GHz coverage providing broader data coverage for faster data speeds in more places."?
I have a bit of Samsung experience with my wife's S5, and now S7 edge.
Unlocked versions haven't been getting updates on a timely basis. The S7's only got their 7.0 nougat a week or so back. If you plan on staying on Sprint, then just get a Sprint version. You can always debloat it with the disabler apps from the play store, they're only a few bucks at most. The SD variants may not get root for a while. Don't think the Exynos versions will work on Sprint.

Any significant difference between the Boost S8 and the Sprint S8?

Bout to pull the trigger on a boost S8.
I'm currently a Sprint customer and am going to replace my S6 with it and swap the SIM.
From what little i can tell the only difference is the color code of the device:
Boost
SPHG950UABB
Sprint
SPHG950UBLK
Any insight would be great.
Pretty confident there isn't
Based on everything I've read about how all of the US variants are essentially the same (SM-G950U), I'm confident that there is zero difference between this device and any other device.
Picked up my S8 for a solid deal. Was cheaper than the S6 when i got it
There is no difference apart from the network and some Apps that are network specific. Hardware wise they are identical.
