Yes bro you can use the same USB cable to connect your phone to PC or laptop and transfer the files photos and videos between them. Your yureka will be visible in Computer as media player device or either as a phone depending on the settings you have selected on your phone. settings while connecting to PC. You can always change the mode from notification area visible on the top of your phone which is called status bar. As far as OTG cable is concerned that is a different cable which allows you to connect any flash drive to your phone and allow you to copy paste or read write the content of the flash drive or pendrive on your smartphone.

[Q] Connection with PC

Does anyone know if the microSD and/or USB Flash drives show up as USB drives on PC? Do the standard Android development tools connect-up through the USB and 'just work' like they do for my phone? I assume that the miniUSB plug is the one that connects to your PC since the other are listed as 'Host' on the Notion Ink Tech specs page.
you would connect to computer with the miniusb, the microsd would mount to computer just as it would with a phone. that would be nice if a usb flash drive did to but i'm not sure about that.

USB-to-USB cable

I've read that a full USB-to-USB cable is also included in the Elocity A7 box.
I never received a full USB-to-USB cable.
How can I get the full USB-to-USB cable?
P.S. Can the A7 be connected to my computer via this USB-to-USB cable so I can see the files on the A7?
Similar to connecting a flash drive and seeing the files that are on the flash drive in the computer's Windows Explorer.
Check out this app. If you have the a7 on a wifi network. Just be careful if you set it up to access files in the system area.

They didn't come with a USB cable. Default USB mode is host, not client. It is not going to be able to be used as a thumb drive (can probably be done if switched to client mode, but by someone with much more experiance, not trying to be rude just honest)

USB Fileshare cable w/usb hub

Has anyone tried this cable between a windows pc and their tablet?

It's supposed to let you copy files back and forth between PC's and also sports a usb hub.
Is it USB to USB or MicroUSB to USB ??? ( website doesn't say )
I thought we could only connect to PC through the MicroUSB port ?
First it's just a usb cable with the data+ and data- leads swapped (oh, and a hub built into it)
Second, the A500 has the mini-usb, why do you need the full usb to exchange data? The mini works fine, and I can access the full usb as a second removable drive (from the PC, I mean)

Motorla Flipside won't stay connected to PC via USB Cable

Hey Guys!
My sister decided that she wanted me to flash her Motorla Flipside. So I decided I would just root it and format the phone and everything. The problem now is when I plug in the USB Cable to the Phone and PC, it goes from connected via usb to scanning memory card to connected and so on. It will do it constantly. If we plug it to charge with the usb cable, it works. I have 1 PC and 2 Laptops but none of them made a difference.
Please tell me what I can do to fix this. The only thing that I am thinking is another cable.
Oh. Also, I know the phone can connect to the Laptop, because I backed up some of her stuff about 3 weeks ago from usb to her laptop.
Thanks in Advance...

Usb cable type

Is the given usb cable, charge only?
It even let you transfer data, connect to pc, etc stuff
