List of Xposed tweaks for Lollipop - Xperia Z2 Tablet General

Hey guys, I am thinking its a good idea to post a list of compatible xposed tweaks for our z2 tablets running lollipop. I haven't updated yet, but I will post here after I do and find try some tweaks out. Please post here if you know any that work/dont work

As far as I know Xposed isn't working on Lp prooerly yet because Recovery hasnt been ported over yet. So I suggest to let this thread be about known Xposed modules that are good because most of them will probably work on 5.0
Mine are YouTube AdAway(I have nothing against ads but on YouTube they are a hassle)
Unicon app using Xposed(change icobs to any icon pack you want)
Xperia Xposed(changing a lot ui things in Xperia devices)

Yeah exactly, when we have a working recovery in Lollipop i imagine most modules that have been updated to Lollipop will work

My favourite at the moment would have to be Lollistat. Adapts the status bar colour to the rest of the app so you don't have the Sony blue with everything. Much more pleasant experience

Thanks for the tip about Lolistat Looks great.
I'm using Youtube Adaway to remove Youtube ads, and Xperia Xposed LP for some minor tweaks on the home screen etc.

Instead of Lollistat you can also use "NotifyClean" which has a feature to remove the Sony blue. Advantage: Everything else remains as it is; with Lollistat the changing of the status bar colors is sometimes a bit slow.
With Gravitybox or Serajrs Xperia Xposed you can implement a quick pulldown of the quick settings (it unnerved me that you always either have to pull twice or use two fingers).
HowGiveLolli makes these Lollipop UPPER CASE DIALOG TEXTS lower case. Looks better.
Also other features from Gravitybox work: Expanded Desktop, statusbar tweaks, quick unlock, remove ongoing notifications,...

Looks like some good reccomendations... thanks..

Best thing from xposed is the gravitybox.
Especially the pie-controlls option which remoes the onscreen nav bar and semi-immersive mode that autohides status bar. Real estate viewport!

Pie controls are overrated.
GMD Gesture Control is much more ergonomical.

Handle External Storage - indeed the most important Module.

Yawn - no, it's not.
For that, Xposed is not needed at all.
Simply install SDFix from Playstore, let it run, restart tablet, uninstall SDFix, done.

Does anyone know what version of the closed framework to use with android 5.1.1?

[Q] FullScreen Toggle ?!

Hey Guys,
I'm new to android and still a noob ... so I need your help with smthng.
I've been looking for how to remove Nav Bar in Nexus 4 and the application that is mostly used is "Fullscreen Toggle" ... and it's said that it would work without custom ROM but it didn't work for me ... did it work for any one without Rooting or do I have to Root my Nexus ??
and if there's another way to remove the nav bar without Rooting plz tell me
Thnx
I searched "fullscreen toggle" on Google play, and found only one app in the search results. That apps description states that a custom ROM is required. So yes, you need root to use that app.

actually the one on the play store isn't the one I'm talking about ... it's that one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497558
and it's not on Google Play !!
Okay so that thread is labeled "DoubleX" not fullscreen toggle. After reading through quite a bit of it, it seems you need root. You could try using Nova launcher. I think there is an option to disable or hide the navbar. then you can set up gestures to navigate. Also see LMT launcher here on XDA. I don't know if it requires root though.
Expanded desktop is what you want. I know you said no custom ROMs, but it might help you in your search.

I use fullscreen toggle, and yes it requires root. Download the V2 , it's meant for 4.2

Like the people said above.. Try and see if a launcher works out... If that doesn't work try a custom ROM like PA ROM I believe ... Best of luck

I have these problem too..
The LMT is working, but the full screen toggle is not, I dont know what happened....
btw, I use MOTO x

What do you want in a ROM? (Things we don't have)

So I'm thinking of getting back into development (I last did development for the Droid 3 and Droid Bionic), and I'm one to make my own standalone ROM to share with everyone.
Here's where I need your suggestions: What do we have in our ROMs already that can be improved, and what do we not have in the ROMs we have that you want? It can range from theming to mods to just anything.
This would help me greatly in making my decision to start developing again or not.
Thanks.

Right now the only thing I really want is a nice dark ICS/Holo theme for NC2.

That would be amazing.
Smart lockscreen: enable/disable based on location (home/work) or time of day, integrated directly into ROM.
Native reverse tethering support
Mass storage mode
Multiwindow/halo windows
Unlimited OTG
Programatically changeable lockscreen (thru Tasker w/ api or shell)
That's all I can think of on the spot.

Perhaps some kind ultra debloat ROM? Like an Anti Goog, Anti VZW, anti Sammy ROM.
Their functionality could be added afterwards as desired. First thing I do after installing a ROM is freeze 100 plus items (even on a debloated ROM.)

I can help you with an ultra debloat ROM if you would would like to test what I have developed. I took the stock Kitkat ROM and debloated it down to less that 600MB. I have tested it for a few days now and everything is working perfectly but I want a few more testers.
-Tablet Mode
-LED Control based on notification type
-Navbar/Navigation Bar customization to add more buttons to custom apps
-Recent apps in a different view, i think it's called "tiled" where you can see more at once horizontally, rather than vertically
-Double tap the "action bar" of any app to make it a floating window, and double tap it again to "maximize" the app...similar to MS Windows
Ok google functions from the moto x (not the google experience launcher ones) on the fly themeing for everything ocons status bar colors toggle colors ect...

Interesting. I have been pretty busy and have been running the original firmware and Beans version 2.
Hopefully I will get around to checking out the Kitkat release soon.
I wonder if there could be a tool or Mod that could be a bloat configurator that would work on a ROM like Beans or Hyper drive or stock.
Maybe it is a superior solution to cook a dedicated debloat ROM instead of some script that is too difficult to make work with other ROMs?
Debloated aosp style or cyanogenmod

one thing that's importnat is having the security for exchange email bypassed. i have no need for mandatory password on my phone just for my corporate email.
Languages
my problem with Verizon's based room is that they don't enable more languages like french.
USB 3 without forcing wifi mode if thats possible? My only complaint on nc2 is the radio which i will fix tonight, and the fact the notification bar is forced to have those horrible widgets, i want stock KK notification bar
Nice thread. I'll keep an eye out.

I also think some more intuitive lockscreen widgets would be nice; quick Google-search widget, minimalistic text weather widget, iPhone-like text/notification previews (possible with Tasker btw) customizable to just sms sender or parent application (currently developing myself also), and BIGGEST THING:
BIGGEST ROM FEATURE REQUEST: along with remote lock/remote wipe, have a remote BRICK! This will guaranteed protect your sensitive data and render the phone useless to thief! Topping the ice cream: along with wiping bootloader, replace with homebrew one with NO download/fastboot mode, just on-screen derogatory message and maybe a contact number. HA!

I second the mass storage mode...biggest thing driving me nuts and makes me hate this phone

What about having another row of lockscreen shortcuts (10). Sometimes I find myself wishing I would have put something else in there.

I would like to see a 4.4.2 rom that roms like cleanrom which leaves all the good s-pen features intact and is fast and stable TW.

Xposed Modules for the P7000 STOCK ROM

This is a list of all the Xposed mods that work on the STOCK/AOSP based oms for the p7000.
Please comment the mods that do work
UPDATE : For the past 3 months I have tested many Xposed modules and here is the list!.
NOTE: I did say that I'll be testing the modules using the Stock rom. I really do hate it. I am currently using a custom rom, DXP 5.1. From experience, I am sure that all the modules listed here will work on the stock rom.
The list-
AppSettings (Thank you carlshark)
Battery Shutdown Manager (Thank you carlshark)
Custom Stock Lollipop Lockscreen
Fix Lollipop Memory Leak (Useless on 5.1)(Thank you carlshark)
GravityBox[LP]
Greenify(Thank you carlshark)
Instagram Downloader
Instagram Themer
Keyboard Tinter 2
MinMinGuard
Native Clipboard
One++ Calculator
Snapprefs
SpotifySkip
Xinstaller
Zoom for Instagram
I've used Greenify, AppSettings, Fix Lollipop Memory Leak, and Battery Shutdown Manager. I also used GravityBox. AppSettings and GravityBox are giving out errors as seen in Xposed logs, most probably since the stock ROM is not pure AOSP. Also, no matter what module is enabled, there are some minor graphical glitching that happens - arrow in lockscreen when fingerprint scanning is enabled, data connection toggle, notification icons, Android in USB storage dialog.

Galaxy S6 Xposed Modules Public Spreadsheet!

Please help me make this as easy to understand as possible and with accurate info. I think this could be very helpful to a lot of people!!
Public link to Xposed Modules for the S6
XLED works great, no issues.
Spreadsheet coming along very nicely... thanks community!
Apologies for a silly simple question - the Greenify is listed as not working completely in the spreadsheet but does that mean only the Xposed related modules are not working or Greenify in its entirety does not work fully? Can I use Greenify 'normally'?
Thanks
Any module working for full immersive mode?
delete. Solved.
My list of working Moduals, i dont particulary need anymore than what is listed.
The very handy one being youtube background playback (this one i like).
Amplify not work
Enviado desde mi SM-G920F mediante Tapatalk
The problem with Amplify is due to some incompability with the 64bit architecture. Some users already reported some logs to the DEV and he's working on it. Expect some news really soon
Anyone using NotifyClean?
I used to use it on my S4, and it somehow made my phone permanently slow (hangs and freezes at times), even after being uninstalled.
Haven't installed that module on my S6 yet.

You can hide the search bar on the stock launcher with "Xposed GEL Settings".
