Where can I find a stock rom for Lolipop update - Verizon Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have SM-G900V, it's rooted, but I am no longer interest in rooting phones, lost interest and don't need it.
I got an alert on my phone saying Verizon wants me to update my phone, i ran it, but not successful. So I am looking for a Stock lolipop update that I can use with ODIN program. It's simple and no headache.
Can someone please send me a link to the MD5 file I can odin?
Thanks.

You need to flash retail NK2 tar to get root. Then you'll use a 5.0 ROM to upgrade.

[Q] Help Please, stuck in odin mode and "software not recognized by AT&T "
So I got a new phone and I thought that this would be a great opportunity to learn how to do things on my own with my phones, Lucky me my new phone (Nexus 5) is way easier to root and do the fun stuff... but not my Galaxy S4
trying to odin back to stock I got stuck in Download mode and later i got a msg saying "Software not recognized by AT&T was found in your device" and on the top line in red said "Secure Fail: Kernel"
How can I flash the kernel and the new recovery ?
remember I am a Noob trying to learn, so go easy on me
What file were you trying to flash with odin? Do you have a link? Also, what firmware version was your phone on? The version you're trying to flash in Odin had to be at least as new as what your phone was on.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
The boot loader is locked. This means that the stock recovery and kernel cannot be replaced. Also, you cannot Odin flash firmware that contains a boot loader with a lower version than the one you are currently running.

If it's running show I would flash the mdl firmware again without the pit file. Then root it with motochoper and put twrp on it. Then flash a custom rom.

I'll try that as soon as I leave work and get home, if you don't mind, can I keep asking you a few questions later on when I'm doing it ?

I337 no longer updating OTA

I believe its been over a year since the last time I rooted my phone. TowelRoot. Since then Ive been stuck on 4.4.2. Everytime I update it stops at 25 percent then fails. Ive tried updating via kies and that too isnt any help. Kies just tries reinstalling to the new firmware over and over. Forgive me for not being so Tech savy, but I would like to know how do I fix this? Simple english and easy videos would be of big help. Im all eyes now waiting for yourreplies. Thx again for all your help.

Thats the thing. I think I was on the version before the 4.4.2 that I have now. After saying I was updated I nolonger had root access. I checked my root with root checker and it says im unrooted. Double checked with simply unroot and that too says im unrooted. Its just not updating. It always fails...

If you don't know how to use a rooted phone, why did you root it ?
If you use Odin you will lose root. If you wanna update from a rooted phone and keep root, you should buy MobileODIN (it's on Play Store). In either case, you have to download the firmware yourself.
However, where have you read that Lollipop is available?

Well, that's not a way to post a thread....as said above if you flash it with Odin you'll lose root as we as using kies, since Lollipop would require of you to wipe your data/cache before and after the update for the phone to work smooth...
is there any performance improvements in it?
