It does. But have problems with ntfs formated USB storages. For ntfs I'm using Nexus Media Importer. So s5 is able to mount those ntfs formated hard disks. Working great.

I have not tried with S5, however I was able to mount NTFS pendrives from ES Explorer on S4, not natively

Is it possible to mount a 5TB NTFS external hard drive on a Shield TV on Marshmallow?

Is it possible to mount a 5TB NTFS external hard drive on a Shield TV on Marshmallow, Android 6.x?
Pretty sure it would need to be formatted as fat32 or exfat(if kernel supports that system) but it would also need to be partitioned as 2tb chunks for android to recognize and mount it.

Harddrives

Hi all I've got a mojo rooted running cm12
I've enabled r/w but can't get my harddrive to work
I have a 3tb seagate powered drive and a 500gb in a cheap USB hub
The drives don't show up in setting but I can see them in es file explorer
When I try to copy anything to the drives it fails
I've formatted the drives with partition magic 9 to ntfs
And fat32 with same results unsure what to try next
Any help please
