Do you mean "simlocked" ? Which firmware is actually installed and in which country you want to use the phone?

Dear sir my phone is locked to SAUDI ARABIA mobile provider called MOBILY, i want to unlock it to use in sri lanka. When i put a sim that is curruntly use in sri lanka And when i turn on it ask "ENTER NETWORK UNLOCK CODE" with 2 buttons ok and dismiss.
I dismiss it and continue iam able to use phone and it shows full signal but no career name and emergency call only. When i make a call it shows not registerd on network. Plzz help me
Same problem here. I tried whole different ways including reflashing ROM but didn't work. Then I found Region unlock app by chainfire. It worked like a charm. Also you need to root your mobile first. Rooting method is somewhere in xda. Search it . Hope it helps.

Which means the attached image was my problem. I guess it is same as your problem. I simply don't know what is meant by "country locked or sim locked"

i got "ENTER NETWORK UNLOCK CODE" SO slightly different

I live in Argentina and I see that the 2 Core Prime G360F for my kids purchased 3 days ago in parís, have the regional SIM block. The Fnac seler dont warned about this.
Now I see that on the lower side of the boxes has a warning on regional SIM lock. The solution of Samsung is to activate a 5 minute call with a European SIM. For me, it is a lote complicated from my country
I'm seeing that an application that unlocks it for Note 3 rooted. Somebody knows if esta apk with The G360F work?

Hello, i have the same problem, there phone Samsung sm g360f which is locked to the Portuguese operator = MEO, want to unlock all operators but I when I try to install software at the end of the process gives me an error that there is insufficient space to install the file. I can only install software that is MEO and those of Vodaphone gives me an error, whether 4.4.4 or 5.0.2
When give me error when I can only install this file (G360FXXU1AOB1_G360FBTU1AOD1_G360FXXU1AOB1_HOME.tar) for Downgrade and repear the smastphone. Pleace help me , I tried with all versions of Odin and it is not work it

try install true or custom firmware to fix problem, some firmware on samsung firmware site is lock and you must Buy country lock code from this site

I installed the region lock away 1.3, it didn't unlock my core prime (t-mobile) G360T. Any ideas or inputs highly appreciated.

r u sure its locked? if u r usinig in KSA with KSA sim card may its already unlocked.

i tried my Indian Sim. it is asking simlock/network code
i tried by using Unlockunit.com for unlock code. still it is locked
at last i tried custom ROM also it was also not helped and again i flash stock ROM.

Your phone u bought from operator or from normal retail shop? I think sim lock & region lock is different, may someone correct me if i m wrong.

i bought it from retail shop. and i am using Mobily sim.
but in the cover there was one sticker saying some countries names (KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan etc...)
i read some forms like that "activating with original carrier will remove the Lock" but it is not happened here.

Do one thing if u have any friend's sim from UAE, Jordan etc. try with it if its still shows lock means its sim lock, also try any other operator of KSA to find out more...

i just call 10 mnts from my phone using saudi sim...... its automatically unlocked...... and working fine now.........

I tried some solution here like using the code *#0011# , but still not woking I can't get Inside in service menu after inputting keyinput 1 nothing happened.Is there other way to unlock my S4 ?

Unlocking your device via Service Mode no works since android 4.3. Buy one code and unlock it by IMEI.

You need to downgrade your modem to a 4.2.2. modem and then use the method.

hey i got my note 4 (N910P) from Texas and brought it to my home country India so i just read the message but i wanted to confirm that if i flash my sprint note 4 (N910P) with a different country rom or any other rom then will it be causing any problem ? i have unlocked it but i am now facing the issues with the carrier featured applications so it is unlocked and ya of course i will keep the model no. in mind for finding the rom then it will be good to go right if i flash it with the same model no. the country doesn't matter ? also tell me how can i become sure of that it is unlocked

You should probably ask this in the Note 4 forum of XDA...
And no, the country doesn't usually matter as long as you are using a ROM that wasn't edited by a carrier (a lot of ROMs on sammobile, for example).

Well, one simple way is get another active SIM card, insert it and try to call someone. If it works, it's unlocked. If there's an error, it's still carrier-locked. Other option is installing GalaxSim Unlock, and open it - if it offers to unlock your phone, it's still locked, but if it says anything like "lock is not present" or "SIM Lock Status: undefined", it's unlocked.

Please follow these steps :
Get the unique unlock code of your SAMSUNG Galaxy J5 from here
Take out the original SIM Card from your phone Samsung Galaxy J5.
Insert a non-accepted SIM Card into your Galaxy J5.
Now, you should see a box to enter “SIM Network Unlock PIN”.
Enter the unlock code and click Unlock.
That’s all.
This only network unlock

you can try to flash with ODIN the full stok firmware for your j5 model from other country!
it's free and you dont have any risck.
if you dont get it unloked after this, you can reflash the firmware from your country back or you can kep it the new one
