[Q] No boot after Titanium Backup reboot-to-recovery - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
suddenly I have a big problem: I have Galaxy S5 running Lollipop, rooted over Odin, that was running perfectly fine. Today I selected "reboot to recovery" in TitaniumBackup. This worked, the phone came up in recovery mode. I did nothing there, just chose "restart".
Now the phone won't come up again. On start, the screen remains black until a message box "media storage stopped" (translated, originally "Medienspeicher angehalten") appears. I can't even press the ok-button there, no reaction. After a while more messages "[something] stopped" appear, everything from some apps to "system". Now I can press the ok-buttons in each message. After they are all confirmed, the screen is black and nothing more happens.
Can anyone help me? The phone was fine before I used TitaniumBackup's reboot-option - was there some damage done that can be repaired?
Regards

Try taking off the battery, or rebooting into recovery and wiping cache.

[Q] S4 freezes all the time.

I haveS4 (i9505) that had the rom foxhound 2.0 on it.
I later decided to install the Google Edition (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2348272) on it.
When installing it I should have wiped data and cache but I accidentally used TWRP's "Format Data" function which deleted everything.
I had to use Odin to put back the original samsung software.
After this I installed the Google Edition the correct way.
When it booted up it said: "encryption unsuccessful" with a button "factory reset" which I pressed.
This took me to the recovery mode which also gave me an error (don't remember what it said).
So i used Odin yet again to put TWRP on it so I could factory reset the phone.
I used the phone for like 1 day but then strange things started to happen.
The phone just froze. Not like a normal freeze where everything stops, but where loading-animations still works and everything else stops working.
So I restarted the phone and it happened again and again and again. From like a few seconds to a few minutes the phone froze or rebooted.
The strange thing is that the same thing happens in recovery (TWRP), the same kind of freeze as described above.
And sometimes the phone refuses to turn on at all. Doesn't help to press all buttons, even holing the powerbutton for 1 minute doesn't help.
I have found out that when this happens I can disconnect the battery and reconnect it after some time to get it to start up again for a short time.
I've tried three different versions of TWRP, and also the original samsung firmware with the same result using Odin.
During all this I also had some problem with my SD-card. Files on it got corrupted and sometimes when i copied files over to it i didn't allow it to happen.
Anyone got any tips on what is going on/what i should do?

My phone won't factory reset.....

I used this method. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476&page=85
I've tried this twice. I think i wiped too much from twrp when i wanted to wipe my phone to install a rom. I was stuck in lg logo screen and used this method. when the phone boots up, my previous rom and settings are intact except i see process "com.android.phone has stopped" followed by bunch of more proccesses that have stopped and it just keep rebooting after i click ok few times on those error messages.
I've used this before and it always installed fresh image. not sure why or how its managed to install my old rom back minus the android processes. I cant do the factory reset from settings either inbetween error messages because the phone reboots too fast.
do you know any other way to factory reset? My phone pretty much loops as soon as the android process has stopped error messages run for about 20 seconds in home screen.
found a solution.
press and hold volume down + power then at LG logo let go of both and press and hold again. at wipe data screen, press power twice and it will boot TWRP/CWM recovery. provided u have it installed

i9505 encryption failed

hi, i flashed a custom rom yesterday (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2794546) the super slim version.
everything worked fine. wanted to encrypt the device, charged it and pressed start encryption. it showed me the green android guy for a second, then rebooted. i went to sleep. today i see its giving me 3 notification on the screen: settings has stopped, interface stopped, and telephone stopped. i can press ok, then the screen either goes blank and nothing happens but the notifications pop up again after some time, or it reboots and does the same. i can still get into recovery, but /sdcard is inaccessible. should i flash from the external sdcard?
should i flash something with odin? i just want it back working. thanks

[Q] Can someone tell me what I did?

So I recently updated using ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/att...w-to-update-to-g900aoca-5-0-keeproot-t3076803 ) this guide which worked perfectly. Upon trying to restore from my titanium backups it got stuck while restoring my text messages. I stopped the process which froze my phone. Upon restarting all my buttons besides power would not work, except the home button would work to wake the screen. It was like this the next 5 times I restarted untill I restarted again and I kept getting a "Process System is not Responding" with a wait or close prompt. After hitting the wait prompt a couple times I hit close which took me to a blank (read: black) screen with nothing but the lock screen call icon on it. Trying to restart my phone in recovery mode was a fail because I accidently started it in Download mode. I held power until the device restarted and now everything works again. I was just wondering if anyone knew what I had done because I have no idea. Thanks.

Optimizing apps and reboot in the loop

I encountered a problem today:
I put a second SIM in, the PIN-Screen showed but was freezed. So I pressed the power button until the phone restarted. Since then android boots, the "Optimmizing apps x to x" screen is showing and when it comes to
"starting apps" it reboots. Over and over.
I already wiped cache with TWRP, problem persists.
When I do a factory reset, it works again. Then I tried to only restore /data. The problem came back.
I really would like to keep my data. Any ideas?
Edit: I'm runing Xyslim (de-bloated stock rom with some tweaks).
