, I having trouble about rooting my galaxy grand prime.
First I follow that instruction from xda developer step by step carefully , then it likes the what on instruction .
Second . I just open my superSU , had it some question about update the binary , I choose ''ok'' then normal , and disable knox I choose cancel . Nothings happened even its then installation failed .
Third . Nothing happened after I follow that instruction , and that supersu didn't give any root permission , there are some m Excuse essages about failed update binary every I open supersu.
Whats wrong with my ways to root ?
I tried another ways to root , but it dont works . Please help meee ...

Guys I tried rooting my Galaxy s4 I9500 with Kingoroot which claimed to be an one click root. It failed miserably and what it did though was to install a custom recovery and SuperSU which forcecloses on opening and no application can be granted superuser access. I learnt later that XDA didnt endorse Kingoroot but please Senior members can u help me ! What should I do to go back to stock recovery ? Triangle away doesnt seem to recognise my device as a rooted one. Should I use kies ?

All the steps worked flawlessy, and I have the superSU app installed too but when i check root checker app , it says the phone is not rooted,
and I am not able to uninstall any pre installed apps or stop auto starting apps, there is no root request going to superSU
Also I am not able to uninstall Super SU app.

Have you tried to install supersu again from the custom recovery?
Of course and it completes successfully... But then result is same ... No root ..... I think I m kinda stuck , can't root can't unroot .. Fone works fine
Just FYI I am using twrp recovery not cwm recovery
NO IDEA to fix, so wiping everything.... I wiped and formatted every patition, installed a new rom. rooted again...
weirdness how it came to that

Try restoring YU by flashing factory images. It may help as u have to start rooting from scratch
yes it worked as mentioned earlier restored old OEM rom
i tried to root y device about 4 times but i cant tried cf root
my phone sm G7102
4.3 JB
but device status "custom"
try root checker sorry root access is not properly installed on this device

when i was on 4.3 i was successfully able to root phone by towel root apk try to use and see if it works for you
I tried rio kernel method and kingroot method but problem still exist. its cannot be root this rom. I reflashed this rom 4 times and make sure follow all steps carefully but root problm still exist. all aditya v3 rom user who have rooted ur device plz help me. and experience man also help me.

there is no way to root this rom I tried all the steps but nothing worked
i really suggest to you to try the motion rom it's better and pre rooted and much smooth and fast you going to like it.

aditya rom is the best custom rom for grand 2 sm7102
now the he also has provided root methods.
first go to recovery
and do a cache and dalvik swipe.
now install rio kernal.
restart your phone
it will take a while...like 40mints or less...
now search for
root_perm.zip
in aditya's Grand 2 blog.
go to recovery and flash it...
now reboot your phone...
while reboot it will ask for installation of supersu...don not do it...
now after reboot you will see...kingroot installed in your phone...open it and tap on root
note you must be connected to internet

enable usb debugging
root with kingroot
reboot
download super-sume
click blue button
launch supersu (it will be installed automaticly by super-sume)
update binary

Hello i have Samsung J5 6 phone and i want to root it. I tried Kingo Root but it failed to root with error xode. I also tried and end enabled developer mode and usb debuging and also allow unknown install but still failed to root. Please i need some expert help thanx
