AFAIK, Xposed doesn't work YET on TW based roms.
I don't know if will work on S5 with non-TW roms though.....
I've been using Xposed on my rooted S5 with 4.4.2 for more than 6 months without issue so far.

Yes, yes, and yes.. Just don't try to go crazy with 50 modules... It works if you work it.
sent from unlocked Bootloader land, with my sm-g900az running some version of lollipop// thanks cricket
AFAIK, Xposed doesn't work on TW based Lollipop roms.
(see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811)
It does work though on Jellybean roms (Android 4.x).
I have _Alexndr's Devbase rom installed (Lollipop) on my S5 and it works very well.
I even have it deodexed.
I'm using rooted touchwiz 4.4.2 and xposed works just fine......There are issues with touchwiz 5.0.+ at the moment... .

Most AOSP roms work with Xposed. Xposed for TW is still unstable and buggy.

Either downgrade to 4.4.2 or switch to CM 12.1. On 12.1 you don't need that because it doesn't have DVFS
I'm not sure the Xposed mod for DVFS is even updated to lollipop.

Xposed on Lollipop? Very confused. Does it work?

So I stayed away from Lollipop due to silent mode being gone. Finally updated and sure enough hate the sounds modes. I saw there was an exposed module to bring back KitKat silent mode.
Been doing tons of research on this forum and other websites and can't find a clear answer. Does exposed work on the Verizon S5 on Lollipop?
Some sites say at first it didn't but it was then updated..then other sites say even the update won't work on touchwiz ROMS? Idk if that just means stock VZW ROMS or even custom touchwiz ROMS?? Very confusing
If anyone knows please let me know. Also if it WILL work are there instructions for this phone specifically. Any Xposed instructions I find mention booting to a customer recovery...and then I remembered hearing that safestrap doesn't work on Lollipop so idk

I've done many clean install of kitkat previously.. Every time I switch roms so I know my phone is always running the best it can. Did the same when installing lollipop last night..full charge over night and man is this battery life bad compared to kit kat..didn't use my phone much this morning and just used it for an hour or so now and I'm at 60%

Xposed afaik currently unofficially works with certain deodexed touchwiz roms
i'm using this version of xposed and it works fine. You do need to use FlashFire to flash the zip though give it a try just install the app then flash the zip.

Yes. Samsung has done some of their own tinkering with ART on lollipop which makes Xposed cause a bootloop. The unofficial version only works on Deodexed versions.
@aholeinthewor1d
If you want to use Xposed on TW Lollipop, you can use this ROM. Then you can go here to install Xposed.
Also, Safestrap DOES work on Lollipop, you just have to use a KitKat kernel to access it. This app/thread makes accessing Safestrap on Lollipop extremely easy. No need for a computer.

Xposed on Nougat?

[Q] Xposed for Galaxy A SM-T355

I have Galaxy tab A (SM-T355) 8' 16 GB with rooted stock rom (touchwiz Android 6.0). I want to flash xposed framework. Obviously I installed an unofficial xposed on XDA used for rooted stock touchwiz.
I flashed that and my tablet ended up bootlooping to recovery. Tried to use the nanobackup and it didint work, wiped out the whole system and restored back and still didnt work.
I had no choice but to restore stock firmware and re-root the device.
Is there any framework that wont cause bootloops and support this device? Or prehaps do I need to modify my system?
Thanks.

Did you use arter97's xposed? https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 I believe there is another framework for touchwiz as well.

Supports marshmallow, and it works on my galaxy a8 2015.
