Lollipops problem after Chinese Lollipop rom - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i was on official leaked lollipop Chinese rom, until Russian official lollipop released.
After wipe and format all thing with twrp and flash 8gb pit file and flash Russian official rom there was a lot of problem, device was so laggy and when it went to lock screen and display turned off, there wasn't any way to turn it on except remove battery and put it again.
So after that, i flashed leaked Chinese rom again and all problems gone.
Now Indian lollipop released and i flashed it and all problems come again.
What is the problem? and how i can solve that?

anyone??

I'm having the exact same problem.
I was having difficulties installing custom ROMs and decided to go back to stock and try again... Now I can't install anything properly.
@Mohamadreza - Have you had any joy?

I take it you've given up?
I tried flashing both stock K and L roms without any joy. Eventually found an old backup. Restored that and now is is back to normal.
Hope your phone is alive again...

Well it is expected to give a Factory Data Reset after flashing the Firmware through Odin.
Flash the firmware and give a factory wipe from the stock recovery.
I hope it will solve your problem.(mine was solved)
All the best!

I found solution .
The solution is downgrade to kitkat rom and then upgrade to any rom you want like official lollipop

I tried flashing both official KitKat and official Lollipop roms without success. Restoring fixed my problem.
Glad you're sorted now.

Hello,
Yes it is possible to downgrade from an official Molitor to an official kitkat (the latest).
I do it, when the flash is end and the mobile show the logo Samsung
You can put out the battery, reboot to the recovery and wipe all user data.
Before do that save all your data.
It's an official administrator from Samsung who say me do so.
Hope that can help you.

Isn't the bootloader required to flash the ROM?
I'm very afraid of trying stock lollipop. I was on Temasek's CM12 build but I had abysmal batterylife. This was probably not attributed to Temasek's build but rather to CM12 as a whole, so I went back to my nandroid containing Crash Rom V19 on kitkat 4.4.2 and I literally have less than 1% drain per hour with the phone idle. I love this batterylife, and I feel I'd like to try and see if stock lollipop TW will give me the same but I would like the option to go back to kitkat if it's worse. I like lollipop a lot but the promise of batterylife seems to hit and miss, makes me stay on kitkat.
I know Crash Rom has a lollipop version, but beside this, which ROM is the MOST stock with the least amount of modifications?

NOTE 3 t-mobile soft brick problem

Hi, I flashed Cm 12.1 lollipop rom on my note 3 t-mobile. I was working good but would like to try dom pop rom and could not succeed to install it. try to install TWRP instead of CWM. but stuck while booting. so now phone enter de downloading mode. But can not enter system rom(lollipop was on it) and also recovery mode.
Can i flash Kitkat official stock rom on to Lollipop running system Because there is no Offical stock lollipop rom for Note 3 t-mobile. My phone stuck and soft bricked i think and got advised to back to the official stock rom is the easiest way. I was worry about if i hard brick my phone by flashing older version rom like kitkat. Is there any way to flash kitkat rom after installing lollipop rom.
What can i do at this situation? highly need help i would be appreciated for your help thanks.

Downgrading

Hi, My cell is on LP 5 but i don't like it, can i isntall any kitkat rom without flashing the kk firmware, if yes how
thx
I think that yes. I flashed on my G900F Miui based in KK and it worked on LP firmware
Lollipop Update Blocked downgrading.
It's not going to work. I think that using a nandroid backup made by somebody else should work.

Is it possible to update firmware with custom rom installed?

Hey guys, i searched a lot, on google and xda, but i think i couldn't find the answer to my question.
I have the latest unofficial LineageOS 8.1.0 Oreo installed, with TWRP.
At home my phone is losing wifi signal every few minutes and then it reconnects again, as far as i know this was already a problem with stock Samsung ROM installed. Now, since i rooted and installed TWRP and LOS i ask myself, if there is a possibility to update latest firmware / modem / booloader without wiping the device, respectively flash the whole Samsung stock ROM with Odin and root / the device again?
To be simple: Is it possible to flash extracted parts of the official Samsung FW package with odin or flashfire to update wifi modem / firmware without losing data and wipe my installed LOS rom?
All i could find was how to do this with official rooted samsung ROM but not how to update with an installed custom rom?
Maybe somebody can help me out here Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I found that somebody made twrp flashable modem and bootloader files! Thatd awesome, you can find the thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/guide-onelatest-stock-fw-csc-root-t3702963

I think you can update the bootloader and modem without wiping anything. Just flash thru odin. I'm on a custom rom by the way.

(XT1575) Issue flashing Lollipop Roms

I couldn't find a solution to this problem myself so I was hoping someone else could provide some insight. Whenever I try to flash any Lollipop roms whether it's stock or custom my phone gets stuck on the boot logo and reboots. I tried downgrading TWRP and flashing the stock Lollipop firmware then going to a custom ROM but no avail. Nougat and Marshmallow roms work fine.

You probably will not find a solution as no one has really developed a lollipop ROM utilizing the MM or N bootloader/ radio.
