I`ve come across to Galaxy Grand 2 and the problem is that I have G710 version and I`ve been looking for hours now and can`t find anything about rooting or installing custom recovery on G710 version. I only found bunch of stuff for G7102 version and know I want to ask if the stuff for G7102 works for G710. I will be very thankful on any help.

I`ve seen this video and he uses G7102 version files in it and I am not 100% sure what to do.

You can use sm g7102 rooting and custom recovery techniques for your sm g710 too.Tested by me

Hi, yesterday I bought this phone but the problem is I have the lte version i-e SM-G7105 I can not find any custom rom or mods for this phone cause roms are only available for sm-g7102.is it possible to install sm-g7102 rom on sm-g7105?

Hi guys, I'm Italian therefore sorry for my English.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 neo but if I go in download Mode there is i9300i but in info device there is i9301i. I have root custom recovery twrp. Now I don't know if there are rom for i9300i but on i9301i there is only cynogenmod 11 unofficial.

It is some mistake by samsung, ignore that . or they were lazy to create 2 separated download modes for 2 variants xD

I have the same problem,it means tha i can flash a rom for the i9300i?
No. If your divice is i9301i , install i9301i firmwares
Simple. If your phone is single sim then it is 9301I,if dual sim then 9300I Cannot interchange roms for the devices....Be careful!

no one cares about GT-I9060i (samsung galaxy grand neo plus)
if there was only 1 custom rom for this device i would be so happy.

Bit of a grey area as one model is exynos and the u model is snapdragon, but I'm certain you'll have issues if you try, it may even fail to install

No you cant cross flash
But depending on your bootloader revision you may be able to root and run stock based rooted roms
