Hi there,
Im not a newbie at rooting but also no pro. I got my note 4 recently and its impossible to root.
After some searching on the net i figured out that the problem seems to be the KTU84P version.
Can somebody tell me what the "KTU84P" version means and if there is a way to root it.
I never had problems before with rooting or flashing my other samsungs.

Hi guys!
My first post so go steady on me!
I rooted my s4 and all was great and knox is still 0x0.
However, I recently updated and lost root as expected and have been having issues trying to root.
I don't want to use cf root as I don't want to trip knox.
I have ran root checker pro and it seems my phone is semi rooted if that makes any sense.
How can I execute the file it mentions in my screen shot? Or how do I repair this?
I have sent ages looking online but keep finding myself stuck.
Any help is appreciated greatly.

Try downloading and installing the latest supersu från play store!
I tried that but to no avail.
I have now sorted it. I had to flash a lower kernel, root with towelroot and then flash with the correct one for my rom. Knox is 0x0 but has shown system status "custom". No big deal.

hello im currently running cm12 on smn9005 with cwm recovery i would like to update my device
but i want to root my phone after the update i have seen many tuts but i cant endup to any of them any trusted tuts? and what about the recovery ? what can i do can i flash the same recovery ? thanks

Guys, I've come to some rooting procedures in the forum but neither one seems reliable to me without sacrificing any functionality. Does any one can help with rooting process that leaves the original ROM intact? I've used CFautoroot until now but unfortunately Chainfire stopped the development process.

I have a cricket grand prime on 4.4.4 and obtained root through king root. Im in desperate need of a custom recovery and cant seem to find one. TWRP doesnt have one for my model and i cant seem to find cwm. Any suggestions

I do apologize for the inconvenience i need this thread deleted bc i have lost root bc my phone updated and now i cant root it. I have checked there and my model isnt supported thanks for the tip though
