Lollipop bluetooth audio problem - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, I have a problem. I always had the liquid offical, all perfect good rom but I wanted to try something more 'recently seen that is not updated in a while.
I tried both the AOCP that the resurrection but both give me problems with the sound of my speaker bluetooth anker.
With the liquid sound was perfect, with AOCP, resurrection is of poor quality and crackles a lot, as if there were too many bass. I tried several music players, I tried using youtube I tested with clean installations, lolliviper with nothing to do. Only with the liquid is erfect..why? Someone has experience in this?
Thank You.

It's seems like the bluetooth drivers are not well implemented in that rom. Maybe you should tell your problem to the maker of your rom.
P.S. you should try bluetooth audio quality with anothes device. ..maybe it's aproblem of compatability between them.

Hi, Thanks! I tried the speaker with other device like asus t100ta, Samsung s3 and the sound in amazing.
Inviato dal mio LG-D802 con Tapatalk 4

I tried different rom lollipop, all with the same problem.
With the AICP lollipop (with and without lolliviper ) everything perfect, the speaker audio works perfectly...why?I do not understand why with some rom Sound is bad, with no other ...

Strange soundbug with headphones (N7 3G)

Hey guys
I already stated my problem in the slimbean ROM thread:
IchStelleDummeFragen said:
Sound works fine from the speakers, but via headphones it sounds like only a few "layers" of the song are played, dont know how do describe it. In some songs you cant hear the voices or instruments are missing. Tried different players (stock, gmusic, poweramp) and headphones, problem is still existing. Not sure if its because of the Rom but i cant see any other thing causing something like this.

I'll try to describe the problem more detailed:
First of all the sound via headphones is pretty quiet and sounds strange, especially in music with electronic elements.
Its like some "layers" aren't played. Result is some instruments or the voices are not existent or so quiet you can't even hear them.
As already stated I tried several headphones and players, nothing is working....
The same music files are working perfectly on my sgs 1 or my PC, so they can't be the problem.
Im not using any further mods except SMS/MMS.
Could it be a hardware defect?
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 7
Went to this ROM, problem is still there
help me please.
Now on paranoid android without any mods, did a full wipe and everything, still this bug...
Hardware defect?!
back to stock - working perfectly fine
seriously - wtf?
no idea what went wrong, maybe a fail while flashing or something...
this just sucks because i want a custom rom...
I was going to say thew headphone output on the N7 is pretty good aside from the annoying noises in quiet passages caused by CPU scaling (?). I even run no eq with my TDK BA100s, unlike my HOX which sounds like a crappy transistor radio. Damn you, hTC...

[Q] [I9505] Fix for 7.1 channel cracks with S5's music player ?

Hey guys.
I just installed the Phoenix 9.4 custom rom on my I9505 (thanks for this amazing rom). I noticed that the overall sounds from the S5 music player sounds far better than the original S4 one. So I tried to activate the 7.1 channel in the equalizer to see if it was better than the one of the S4 player (that was actually horrible). It sounds very good except that for lots of musics (generally heavy metal or saturating sounds) I can hear horrible cracks in my headphone. They only pop with the 7.1 channel (tried all other equalizer presets and all work perfectly).
Does anyone using this rom experience the same problem ? Is there any fix for this ?

Could anyone using this rom test the 7.1 channel on the default music app please ? I really need to know if the problem comes from the app/rom or from my install.
Thanks in advance.

Help with CM13!

Hi y'all! I just installed the latest cm13 build posted by @mparus and everything is going well except for the headset jack. It just won't recognise my headphones. When I plug them, the music still plays on the phone speaker. I don't know if this is a known issue; I've been searching through the OP but haven't found anything related. Thanks in advance!

broken speaker after kernel 3.4 update

Hi, I tried the kernel 3.4 on my nexus 7, but after I installed it my speaker starts to play audio really bad, now is noisy ,scratchy and pretty low. So I tought was rom/kernel related, and back to 3.0 kernel, but no way to get it working good again. So I changed the speaker with a new one, and the audio isn't anymore scratchy, but is really low when compared to his previous stage, I cannot use in a room with peaple simply talking for example, forcing me to use a bluetooth speaker, or headphone. What happened to my nexus 7? I changed many roms, but doesn't seem to be fixable by sw, what can I do? now I'm on slimkat + parrot mod, which works flawlessy.
thank you

Question about audio quality in Oreo roms

I have tried two Oreo ROMs so far. Crdroid unofficial and aex. While using I've noticed that audio quality is very inconsistent. So much treble and headphones crackling. Never happened this with stock miui rom. Using mi basics earphones. Even tried viper4andoid and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Also left earphones had more volume than right say left is 65 audio focus while right is only 35. Guys please help I don't want to go back to miui ROM. My earphone is working perfectly fine with stock ROM so I think there is no issue with it and it is just 2/months old.
