Hello vwadam, happy to see you in XDA forum. I have to say that's my hungarie language is not good, and i already download your rom and the fix, on "Xperia Sp custom romok"
But i really don't know, if it's for LBL and maybe there's a trouble with baseband. Correct me if i'm wrong... (google translate not very good)
First, thanks for your work but i don't know how "editing files with apk tool"
If you want , i can test it (i saw in your zip a boot.img, maybe .207)
Wipe data/factory reset+wipe cache+wipe dalvik cache+format system, install rom zip and reebot
After first reebot, return to recovery, wipe cache+wipe dalvik cache and install fix zip
Good?

Hi glarage,
Yes,its for LBL (i dont know its work with ubl or not because my phone is lbl)
Check name of the zip files, newest Rom is V2.5 and settings fix is V2
There is no baseband problem (its say Note.when you start phone...its say no detected sim card, but when you click "Ok" than all is work perfect and no problem with baseband)
Installing:
1. Go to any recovery
2. Wipe Data,Wipe Cache,Format System
3. Install the Xperia Z3 Style Rom V2.5.zip
4. Reboot System
(Its can take 5 minutes)
5. WHen installation done, follow the instructions, when done go back to recovery
6. Install the "Xperia Settings Fix V2.zip"
7. Wipe Cache,Wipe Dalvik Cache [It's important!]
8. Reboot System
9. Choose the Xperia Z3 theme in Settings...
Thanks for testing the rom

problem with gapps for CM7

hello!
I have tested the new ROM cyanogenmod 7
but I have a big problem... when I instal the gapps I have a message in recovery
"E:signature verifying failed
installation aborted"
I tried with differents gapps (one on the post of CM7 and one in frandroid named universal dpi)
Have you got a idea for this problem...? because a androphone without gapps is not very cool...
PS:sorry if I made spelling mistake but I'm french...
Do you install using Rom manager?
Hm did u try this gapps?

You need to install GApps, which is linked in this very thread, a few posts up.
I actually have the same problem.
No market on a fully working CM7.1 HTC Legend.
I have tried flashing the google apps zip posted above, and I've tried flashing both Gapps zips on the official clockworkmod site. I have stuff like google talk, but NO market. Anyone know whats up (or basically where to get a gapps pack working on a 2.3.7 legend that actually includes the market)? Or maybe any other way to get the market?
Do you Have added your Google Account?

try adding market widget to the homescreen, run it once, that should generate market icon in the drawer, remove the widget from the homescreen afterwards
you should always wipe partitions before flashing
doesnt give the option to enter google account info when i restore phone nor when i 1st flashed cm7. tried to download them from browser and it says they are already installed, im guessing because they were installed last time the phone was signed into market prior to flashing. guess its back to froyo til its fixed. (lg thrill)

CM9.... What did I do???

I have a question for some of you. I had been doing some research on CM9 for NC. I found a download, ( Though not on this site) along with some additional help from this website.
I installed everything to my NC and low and behold, it all works!! It looks just like my Toshiba Thrive tablet, except it's showing that its running Android 4.0 version.
Now for the drawbacks.... it has NO sound, NO Market, etc... Is there any way to install those? Or has this been the problem all along??
Thanks!
What links you got the CM9 from?
I got CM9 running with sound and market is working just fine.
I knew better than to trust another site, but ... I went to androidfamily.net. It had a "how to" to install CM9 ...
Could you give me downloads you used?
Thanks alot!!!
Check out the Samiam nightly builds in the development forum.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444943
You basically need to flash three files that are available from there. Latest nightly main CM9 ROM, Google Apps (Gapps) and the telephony-permissions fix.
That will give you market, working sound and best CM9 for Nook at the moment.

I see the Gapps file, and the telephony-permissions fix file, but where is the CM9 main file you mentioned? Am I overlooking it?
I tried again, using the same CM9 file, and then installed the Gapps file you mentioned along with the telephony permissions fix. Still no market. Everything else worked fine!

Are you connected to wifi? When loading a new rom, sometimes the market doesn't show up until hooked up to wife.
If this doesn't solve your problem, then I would start from scratch. Can you boot into CM recovery? If so, go into mounts and storage and format data, system and cache. Back into main screen and factory reset and wipe cache partition. (so many debates on if this is all totally necessary, but I have had glitches with installs when I have not done every one of these steps in this order).
Install CM9 (I do recommend samiam's build. It works flawlessly on my nook.)
Choose reboot option in recovery. Connect to a wireless network.
Samiam has included Rom Manager in his build. I use this to boot into recovery. Install Sam's gapps, telephony fix and boot animation fix. Reboot.
Hope this helps. Post if you need more detailed instructions.
I don't think you are flashing the right ones or are missing one of the 3. There is a patch that fixes market, boot animation and SOD issues. In unofficial cm9 forum.

I am getting a little confused. When I clicked on the CM9 build....it shows parent directory and then all the nightlies. Which one do I use? I also tried to just wipe it and reinstall CM7... I did manage to get the market running the CM7. So, I think I must have just downloaded the wrong nightly??

You can click on the latest one (Jan. 28.) and download. I always check the end of samiam's thread to see if there are any hiccups on the latest builds. I am running Jan.26 build (haven't updated yet) and it is running beautifully for me.

Is there anyone out there with the same type problem that corrected it?
Thanks!
From Recovery you want to format cache and system (under mounts). Also format data unless you already have a good working set up and you want to preserve all your settings, apps etc.
Then you should be flashing 3 zips in this order
update-encore-2012xxxx.zip where xxxx is the latest
gapps-ics-4.0.3-sam-noinit.zip from the misc folder
telephony-permission-fix.zip from the misc folder
The gapps zip in particular has the google apps including the market. Note that if you are comparing with the CM7 MiRaGe ROM then that has the gapps in including the market already in whereas with CM9 you have to flash them in separately.
If you have formatted data then when you reboot it should take you straight into a setup where you set up wifi, then sign in to your google account. The market app then should work OK.

Went to CWM and did the above ..went to mounts and storage..format cache and system, and data. After I did this, I hit the power button, once to go back to the screen to install the zips. Now, when I hit that power button, the following message came up 4 times... E: can't mount/cache/recovery.log. Could this have something to do with it??
I tried your instructions again, and No Market. You said that it would take me to a screen to set up wi fi ..but it doesn't. My screen is black, with a clock, a picture of a camera, and box that says gallery.
I am just going to have to go back to CM7!
I think I finally thought it out. For whatever reason when I put the gapp file in my NC it shows installing..but I don't think it worked. CM7...No problems! Have installed twice today and both times had the Market.
CM9... runs great...but no market!
Strange. The only thing that I can think of at the moment is that you have a bad download of the gapps file.
If you haven't tried it before then I'd suggest downloading it again. You should then just be able to flash that one on its own.
---------- Post added at 05:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:34 PM ----------
As a double check the zip should be 16,874,937 and you should be able to open it on PC and see the apps files in the system/app folder with vending.apk

I checked, and BTW I'm using gapps-ics-4.0.3 -sam noinit ......my download is 18,275 KB ? and when I clicked on it to check the apps files as you suggested this is what it showed... 3 folder icons with MACOSX, META-INF, system. And then directly underneath the folders were 3 other things with the same words as the top 3 ... NO vending.apk ?? I clicked on the one that had system, and all the apps are there. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Would you tell me which gapp file your using?
Thanks for helping me!!!
I go the Gapps I use from the link
http://sphsolutions.net/android/Encore/Nightlies/Misc/
However, it looks like I got a slightly earlier one (probably 1 day before). I retrieved the current one to compare them. The later one has the YouTube app in which explains the difference in size. All the Google apps are exactly the same as in the one I use and the Vending app is there as well under system/app
If you can't see that folder then there is something wrong with your zip download.
The other difference from the earlier one I had is that it looks like the later one had been put together on a Mac system as it has the extra __MACOSX folder and a few .DS_Store folders which are not really part of the required zip but should be harmless.
Just to check I just tried installing with the latest nightly 20120128 and the later gapps version and I got the market OK.
So two thoughts: either your download is still bad or maybe you have signature verification turned on in your clockwork and that is causing this gapps install to fail whereas the main ROM is passing and also the gapps when you do CM7. I have signature verification disabled (which I think is the default). Try toggling the signature verification menu item and get it set to disabled.
What and where is the signature verification? And..... how do I get there?

[HELP] - [Aroma][ICS 4.0.4]Cyanogenmod_9-UNNOFICIAL [V3.0]

I recently installed Aroma ICS 4.0.4 Cyanogenmod 9 UNNOFICIAL V3.0 rom, and when i first boot my device, i dont have the Google Play Store App. How can i fix that?
First thing is, any bugs, things you dont like or anything like that post it in ROM thread, second you need gapps package for ICS ask jordfaz to give you a stripped one
I tried to post in the rom thread but, it told i need 10 posts to do it. How can i talk with jordfaz? Thanks for the quick reply
Send him a private message ask him to give/make you a stripped down version of gapps
---------- Post added at 01:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:31 PM ----------
BTW, CM9 should have gapps included, did you do a full wipe before installing ?
When i wipe the user data, it gives me this error, i dont know if it has something to do with the previous error.
The error says:
Formatting DATA...
Formatting CACHE...
Formatting SDEXT...
No app2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext.
Formatting SDCARD:/android_secure...
Data wipe complete.
That's nothing important
I have another problem i just installed the Facebook application from Android Market, but after using it for a while an error appears saying "Sorry, Facebook has stopped.", and that happens with other applications as well, what can i do to fix this? :/

OK Google Everywhere, on any AOSP Rom

ok all, i have got ok google working everywhere on rastapop now, an aosp rom, even with the phone sleeping. this will work on any aosp rom btw. this is what youll have to do.. first, thank @sykopompos for finding what all aosp builds are missing(i only did the testing since he doesnt have a n6 yet). secondly, download this zip http://goo.gl/7NUZZy , unzip it, open the folder and there will be three more folders. you want to remove the files from inside and use a root file explorer to place them into /system/ where each folder shows you where they go. after you finish, just reboot for it to take affect
ok, we have a flashable here now, by @hlxanthus that a few claim works, so ill go ahead and post the post/file here..

Alright guys, I took all this stuff and modified it as required. Also added backup/restore capability with addon.d support. Also seeing as this is kind of a final deal, went ahead and signed the package. Passed this to simms22 for his approval prior to adding it to the OP. But feedback from all of you is good too. Myself, I have never had wide success with the previous fixes. Never survived reboot or with screen off and unplugged. These new files seem to completely fix that. THANKS @sykopompos !!
Download - OkayGoogleEverywhere_shamu.v2.zip
Simply flash like any other package, and if you are not manually wiping /system, no need to flash again with every rom update!!

It works, but only temporarily (does not persist through reboot). Same as without this mod / fix.
Is this supposed to fix (enable it) or let it persist through reboot?
EDIT: Now it doesn't seem to work at all from screen-off. Cleared data, reboot, had to clear data again, train to my voice. Nothing.

it should persist, yes. as it does for me just fine. we are adding a few apks and other files, they dont disappear after a reboot, so should always persist until you change things or flash something over.
its so odd.. the far majority, everything works as it should. but for a few people it wont work. itll work temporarily, then a fc, then no more. odd.

On stock phones it should already work, you just have to turn it on in Google Now settings

It seems that for some people the TriggerEnroll.apk is force closing when trying to set up voice, sending it into a loop.

ok, but why or what would make it force close for one, but be perfectly fine for another.
This is very wierd, The TiggerEnroll.apk, on the catlog someone gave me. Its looking for a callback from something but i cant seem to figure out what.

So i just got someone else up and running, he had to wipe the Google search app and he was able to wipe the tiggerenroll and triggertrainingservice which idk how he was about to wipe the last 2. But what was happening was the tiggerenroll was looking for a callback from the triggertrainingservice, but it wasnt responding.

Many users reported booting. You have to unmount system.
Do not flash gapps. It's not compatible with miui 8.
1) Open mi app store.
2) search for "Google"
3) open and install "blue panda(du) foot print logo app" ("I can't read Chinese")
4) Click on install
5) Open the app
6) Click on blue button
7) Install all prompted apps manually ( select install unknown source in security settings)
8) after everything installed you see yellow button just open it and login your Google account
9) Enjoy.
10) Like this post if it helped you to install gapps and reduce force closes.
See screenshot for visual steps.
It's seem your data is work...??? I got no signal

Detailed instructions
Downloads:
6.9.29 https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0...VZ6NjJ0SlVVM3c
Original folder https://pan.baidu.com/wap/link?uk=1...android/第三方ROM/OnePlus One/miui8-A0001&page=1
Flashing:
Boot into recovey, wipe dalvik,cache,data,system.
Flash Miui8 xxxx.zip
Wipe caches, Reboot.
ERROR 7?:
Open upater-script on META-INF/COM/Google/android and delete first few lines containing Getprop. How to do this? Ill leave it to yourself.
Still error 7? After wipe, reboot recocery.
Gapps: Download Mi gapps installer from http://en.miui.com/thread-294362-1-1.html and follow the instructions in that thread.
As this is the initial build bugs are expected, I would not recommend it for using as daily driver, wait few more updates and then give it a try.
