[Q] Unfortunately, (all services) have stopped - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was L17(5.0) Dr Ketan's ROM. I had done all the flashing on TWRP.
Today when i tried to go to recovery, it landed on stock recovery and not TWRP.
And when rebooted the phone it constantly gave me error messages one by one that "Unfortunately, ... service has stopped"
My first question is TWRP won't work on android 5.0?
I tried flashing TWRP through odin but it failed and gave this error: Complete(Write) operation failed
Did i do something wrong?
All help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Edit: Now when i try to go to recovery/reboot it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Go to recovery in Kies
All i did was unsuccessfully tried to flash twrp/cwm.

I got the same error, when I was trying to flash TWRP2.8.3.0 via odin. I corrected issue by by trying to go back to download mode and flashing another recovery.. as I remember.
Please check whether you can go to download mode??

logo_q1.jpg daw failed [BRICKED] please help
I flashed a GB ROM using odin mobile trying revert from ICS after I found out about the possible superbrick, when it rebooted, all I saw was logo_q1.jpg daw failed in green letters
I can get into recovery, and can only flash SGN_XX_OXA_KJ1_FACTORYFS, but same thing after it finishes.
PLEASE HELP!!!
ok i finally got the green jpg failed error to go by flashing Abyss kernel. but now it just gives me a yellow triangle and CWM, but CMW is unable as it is stuck in boot loop.
Use PC ODIN to flash a stock GB rom!! Put in PDA section of ODIN. Well, just follow instructions in Drketan's thread in Android Development section.
**PC ODIN calls for Download Mode, I assume you can get to it because you can get to recovery (download mode is Volume Down)**
BOOM
i was able to flash a stock rom and get it working, i was figured it out right before you posted.
thanks
now I have to fix the green logo_q1.jpg draw failed. but it doesnt boot into the rom

After you ODIN the stock GB rom it should boot up fine. If it doesn't, boot into recovery (on the STOCK GB) rom and wipe data and cache. This will ensure you are starting fresh and getting rid whatever that green logo fail is. I'm not sure what that is.

Please help, Bricked S 4

I have the GT-I9505, I tried to root it with CF-Auto-Root @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39901375 at first,
but it failed, then I had the error "firmware upgrade encountered an issue". After this, I tried many ways using differents odin versions to flash but noone worked, everytime I tried the result was "Complete(Write) operation failed."
Can anybody help me please ? T.T
does it boot to recovery or download mode ??
It can reboot on download mode, but not on recovery...
I just tried to flash it to make him able to boot on recovery mode but it says "Complete(Write) operation failed", the same error message when I try to flash it on a official rom...

If you can reboot in download mode, try to flash a stock rom with odin. it should work. that's how rom's must be flashed with odin, not in recovery mode.

do u have the drivers installed??? download a different stock firmware for your i9505.. and try two ,three firmwares if still failing,, you can get firmwares from http://www.samfirmware.com
and try to flash using Odin make sure your drivers are working also removing Kies if you have as it could interfere..
My device is currently stuck in a bootloop with:
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
I've loaded up Kies and it sees my phone is there and tries to connect but will sit there for a few minutes and then says that I need to reboot the device (this doesn't help either, same every time).
I'm unable to boot my phone in to recovery mode. However I am able to boot into download mode. So I've tried flashing root and/or CWM onto it but it fails each time. As does trying to flash stock firmware (or so I believe that's what "I9505XXUBMEA_I9505OXABMEA_I9505XXUBMEA_HOME.t ar" is).
I've searched and found some people suggesting that I try and flash a stock ROM through Odin, but unable to find one in a .tar or .tar.md5 format
I'm completely stuck now and unsure what to do. Can somebody please help me out.

Soft Brick - FAILED TO MOUNT SYSTEM - Help

Good night guys, so there's my problem:
I was on DN 0.6.1 custom ROM, TWRP 3.0.2.0 and rooted. Today, i wanted to go back to stock ROM, so, I downloaded the stock firmware throught sammobile, and tried to install it throught ODIN 3.11, but it's stopped at system.img, and remained stuck in it for a long time. so i decided to restart the phone..
Then it's showed the follow message:
firmware upgrade encountered an issue note 4. Please select recovery mode on kies and try again.
So, i tried to re-flash throught ODIN, but stucked at system.img again, after it, I downloaded KIES and tried restore it, but it's stopped at 2%.
I wasn't abble to go to recovery mode, only download mode, so, i extracted the ROM file, and flashed only the boot.img through ODIN. Now it's boot to recovery...
I wiped data/cache, but the following error showed up:
E: Failed to mount system (invalid argument).
and now i can't find a solution for it.. tried to do amost anything that i could find on the internet, but none solved my problem...
I'm wanting to flash PIT + CSC + PDA file, using the repartition option on ODIN, but i'm afraid that may brick my phone for ever...
I'm following this tutorial by now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...te-4-pit-files-repartiton-f-g-c-t-w8-t3282641
And i need this CSC file, because my phone is the C version, could someone give me link to download it ? couldn't find in any place.
ANd there's someone who could help me ? i'm very concerned about it because i don't have money to buy another phone at the moment...
Thanks, and yes, already looked at XDA for a answer but couldn't fine any.
THANK YOU :good:
Anyone ?

My Galaxy S5 appears to be unflashable/unrootable, any advice?

Hi,
I recently got me a Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) and the first thing i wanted to do was installing CM13 as I always do with my new phones. However, when i followed te steps on CM wiki using Heimdall to flash TWRP the blue bar of the downlaod mode increases a small bit, then stops and in the command promt it says something about error with finding PIT. After trying this for three times i decided to go with Odin, which I do prefer anyways.
I tried flashing TWRP , the blue bar is filling to 100% but then on the little screen where Odin usually states FAIL! or PASS! it just says RESET! and my phone is restarting. Shortly after it restarded you can see the RESET! turning to PASS!, but when I tried checking in TWRP is installed, it wasn't. I tried it again and then Odin suddenly says FAIL! After restarting my phone it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I couldnt even enter download mode anymore till I tried if getting out the battery would work. I could enter download mode again and flashed the same TWRP on my phone again, and aigain it says RESET! but after that my phone worked again. I tried flashing with another version of Odin and TWRP but same thing happened - First run it said RESET!, second run FAIL!.
I thought maybe rooting the device and installing TWRP via their app afterwards could do the trick. So i tried flashing Autoroot with Odin but it made my phone showing a screen with Samsung logo and in the upper left corner something about recovery mode, seemed to be a loop/freeze. So i took out the battery again and flashed TWRP and that solved the problem again. At last I tried rooting by using TowelRoot but it says the service is not available for my device, even though S5 is listed as a supported device.
I really have no idea what to do anymore, would be very grateful if someone could come up with a solution.
BTW: Is it possible to flash CM13 without using custom recovery by using stock recovery?
Greetings
Khalitas

RESET! is basically the same thing as PASS! What version of TWRP are you installing? The keis screen you got is the same as download mode. Why are you using heimdal? your idea to go with Odin was a good one. Anyways, download TWRP 3.0.2 (not 3.0.2-1 or 3.0.2-2 as they are buggy) and flash it in Odin, reboot to recovery and install the ROM you like, of course following its specific install instructions. No, you cant install a custom rom with stock recovery
Thanks for your answer, meanwhile i managed to fix this problem. Had to flash the latest Firmware because twrp (could just install the oldest version otherwise I had no option to boot into recovery at all) said no OS installed. After rooting via Odin worked like it's supposed to.
Why did I use Heimdall? Because I wanted to stick to CM-wikis instruction and they used Heimdall.

Probably you'll need to flash stock rom via Odin.
Or via Smart Switch.
And this is a wrong forum for S10 plus.
