Hello folks! I have been screwing with my new Mi3, and made new custom rom for our cancro [emoji2]. Cyanogenmod 11S for MI3W/MI4.
Features:
-Fully deodexed and zipalign to make it lite and more faster
-Experience the taste of OnePlus One UI.
-Much More, check them yourself [emoji14]
Screenshots:
Based on latest CM11 build by me. (ETA: Sorry for delaying but I will release latest build after my first examination)
Ported from OnePlus One (Stock factory image, latest one available on net)
Bugs:
-Random reboots, seen in call otherwise works normally (Workarounds: here)
-Other, you tell.
-Known issues will be fixed in next build(...soon...)
Downloads:
-Build 1 :
miBacon-1.0-cancro.zip
-Build 2:
#32
Installation
(Take Backup of your current Rom)
-Copy the ROM into root of storage
-Wipe Data/Cache/System* ("*" = 1 or 2)
-Install the ROM in the System you want.
-Reboot into the ROM after flashing
-Wait for not more than 5 minutes
-Voila! Enjoy the all new CM11s experience on MI3 [emoji5]

Any heating issues?

WOW awesome!Thanks!

No offence bro. But this isn't your work. Right?

volllaaaaa thanks man

Thanks!

We need to install nodeepsleep.apk I guess if we want to run it. What about the sensors? Working?
The reboot issue is persistent till we have the kernel sources so no point talking about it

Sensors are working Wakelocks are must to prevent some reboots during calls.
Btw no deep sleep issues seen as far.

It seems that it comes with Gapps. Just asking....can you make a possible build without gapps (not removing the apps only but also the libs and stuffs)?
If not its OK...no problem bud. You've already done a wonderful job

OK...just flashed and tested for a bit. Nice work. The issues I've faced are below.
1. Screen calibration is giving FC.
2. After finishing a call the entire system just froze. Had to restart it manually.
That's it for now.

What do you use for screen calibration. On MIUI ROM it comes up with *#*#6484#*#*. On other ROM?
---------- Post added at 05:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:04 PM ----------
An important query that will decide if I'll download it or no.
It has performance mode?
If no, can we adjust CPU frequency?
Like using 3rd party apps or in fact the inbuilt performance setting. It is set at 1.19 GHz. If u set max frequency to 2.23 it gets auto reset back. But than even performance governor doesn't works properly. Sometimes it will do, but like what u have set max frequency, CPU will constantly run at the max one. But after a whil sometimes it gets again reset.
So if we can use CPU properly to play games without lag, I may download it. In fact the above is the reason I have to use ASAP 4.4 as it has performance and normal mode options which works same as MIUI.
Kindly reply.

Yeah! But TBH CM11s is with few gapps. So, to maintain CM11Ss' originality I haven't removed it otherwise it would be like CM11

Whoa! Thanks for your concern, well I will modifying few apps that causes FCs. Please do tell more so that next build be the fixed and stable for every user. Call bug is because of the CM11 base I already told that I will switch base ROM.

Thanks for the info. Actually this bug is related to kernel, the ROM got the kernel used in every CM, AOSP and other 4.4.x ROMs. Wait till proper kernel comes.

BUGS AND SOME WORKAROUNDS
1.)Can't Unlock Lockscreen and have to Reboot Manually .
SOLUTION: TO Solve that you need to go to Settings - > Accidental Wake up -> Turn it off
2.) 1080p Front Camera Video Not Working
SOLUTION: Make it 720p
3.) Audio Low Quality at the first run
SOLUTION: Pause then Play an audio to fix it
4.)Incompatible Google +
SOLUTION: NONE
Overall this rom is quietly stable . I rate it 8/10

Umm.. What version of cm11s is this? I wanna try porting my own version too.

Ok this is what happened: after your response i downloaded the rom again and the audiofix, wiped all and installed the rom afther that installed the fix and rebooted result: stuck at the loading screen
wiped all again and installed the rom only without the audio fix and no luck stuck at the loading screen again
Third try: this time i wiped and formatted everything then installed the rom without the audio fix, rebooted and this time it worked and the sound too so no need to install the audiofix, then i tried apollo and the sound went off so i pressed the vol up button and it worked again.
i never had this kind of problem with other roms, now im trying slimbean and i like it
Note. the first time i had no sound i also wiped and formatted all so i guess thats not the problem.
1 day review
Installation:
1. CM11 -> AOKP = bootloop
2. CM11 -> stock -> AOKP = Booted in few mins.
Performance:
1. Much better than CM10.1 n CM10.2
2. No bug in sound
3. Battery BackUp is way better than CM10.2, almost all day screen was on except 2 or 3 hours
4. UI was smooth all over, no lags at all
5. Only once phone app freezed while calling or recieving call but a reboot solved it too
6. Camera n video recorder working without any problem
Bugs:
1. Cant play 720P HD videos
2. Sometimes toggle panel opens even when opening notification bar from middle or from left <--- sorry i dont know if this is a bug
3. MTP not working
Overall a very good ROM n can be used as a daily driver if u dont watch 720P videos
EDIT : Can Play 720P videos with MX Player
sorry for repoting 720P bug guys.
Are you sure about 720p playback? mpeg4,h264,h263 should working i think...

I'm sorry mate! I just installed MX Player n tried playing in it n it worked fine! Sorry for reporting that .... I tried playing with inbuilt player at that time it said "Cant play this video".
If you talking about MKV or others not supported on CM, than you must use 3rd video player + SW decoders.
HD 720p in mp4 should working via default Gallery without problems. Try record video (HD) and play it.

Yeah I do. Poweramp takes some trickery though. You have to go into Audio -> Advanced Tweaks and uncheck Direct volume control, and BT Direct Volume Control. I also check MusicFX. Normally with other ROMs I have to do that and then enable the switch in the Tone/Volume screen, but that switch doesn't appear on Liquid so you may not need to check that box.

Then plug in your headphones. That seems to kick start Poweramp/Viper. In Viper settings you may have to disable and renable it. Then it should process everywhere until a reboot. Then you gotta do the headphones thing again.

What variant do you have? And where did the modem come from? Most ROMs now need the stock modem. The actual one that came with the OTAs. If you're using one from dr87's thread that were patched to fix rotation, they won't work.

The ROM Boots fine, everything works! Some Lags as expected and overall the phone is a bit slow..may be Miui is a bit heavy on NovaThor. Setting up the phone for the first time is a pain. Did not notice any battery drain so far but still testing.
Edit: MIUI is stylish...but using Nova launcher for an App drawer

after serveral over of using so far so good... but there are only a problems I facing is screen shuttering(I don't know it called shuttering or something)the screen will sudden flash for 1 sec,if I dint remember wrong this is cause by the kernel cause of minimum CPU frequency keep revert to 400MHz and made the screen blink or flash. Most obvious screen blinking or flashing is when I open the music player apps..... non stop blinking(I thought my phone' screen are dying LOL...BTW nice ROM
And oh yea...I have enable high accuracy mode in GPS but Facebook apps still wan me to setting the GPS ...any solution?
I have precisely the same. The ROM is beautiful. A few amendments and will stay with me permanently.
It is verry laggy and high ram consumption.
One of i.e: i open browser ( only one tab), go to xda, put it in background, open it again and is re-opening because was closed lol.
@PolishVodka: Does miui lags on galaxy ace? There is nothing we can do to make it faster on janice? ... Even debloated miui based on jb lags.
Im using this ROM two weeks and laggs missing. Beauty full ROM.

I installed it and didn't install any app and it lag too much. I don't understand how you don't have lag . Also it has worst multitasking. It's impossible to not have lag, other people said that is laggy too and i tested it too...
What firmware are you using? Although i don't think it matter so much.
I have base XXLQE. I installed this ROM two times. First time i have lag, too much. Second time clean instal and im very happy.

This is my review for MIUI 6.
Using this ROM for allmost 24 hours and i have to say that MIUI is the most beautiful ROM i ever used before.
The things that i have noticed so far:
-Wi-Fi seems to be working fine.
-GPS not locking but, i were inside a builiding so, it might be related to that.(i didnt have time to test it outside).
-Incoming call screen seems to be quiet laggy (which is presented in most 4.4 Kitkat ROM).
Thats pretty much it. i will continue testing this ROM and let you guys know.
Beside all that i wrote, this ROM is really beautiful and looks amazing.
Thank you @PolishVodka for this great ROM

Does it lag? How is the ram usage? For example, can you keep browser, viber ( whatsapp or anything else like this) and youtube in background?
Well, the ROM is laggy while roaming (launcher, settings).
About youtube, i didnt test it so i cant tell.
About the RAM managmant i didnt check(i'm at work right now).
But the history of MIUI for our device teached us that the ROM is preety heavy.
Thr boot time is normal.
I will continue to test this ROM and let you know.

Clock collapses immediately I launch, I can't set the alarm
so is it worth trying this rom or there are too many bugs? i do not want to try it myself as my sister is currently using my s advance.
working hard , long thinks , Omni and CM will work!
@PolishVodka you are just awesome... Rom works flawlessly but there are some changes that u should make.
It is very difficult to read when there is a pop up notification like battery. Maybe due to missing background colour.
There is also a problem in the launcher... Apps icon overlaps with the apps in the tray. I uploaded a screenshot. It's not a big deal but it ia sometimes annoying
Overall your build ia very good

3 days of use and I'm surprised the ROM is very fast, no lags although I've had 3 random reboots already which are not that bad.
Bugs I've found
BATTERY consumption is very high
Clock fcs immediately you open
Some pop up dialogs cannot be seen clearly since the background is transparent and font almost transparent too
Nevertheless this Rom is awesome thanks @PolishVodka for this brilliant job
Polish, For fix video playback in browser use this commit

This post has been changed because of the @PippoX3 response in Post # 2:
"And probably have not much time to dedicate at a thread ..."
Old first post.
On the AndroidFileHost site STELIX Pippo X3 was created AOKP [Oreo] for Oneplus X.
Those interested can download ROM.zip
@PippoX3, why do not you have a thread about AOKP for Oneplus X on XDA?

Privacy guard - yes
Local account for contacts - no
Oos cam - not working
As far as I know there's no USB mass storage since Android version 4x. And yes MTP works just fine.
Edit:
For some reason I can't set a ringtone.
Camera and Video work fine here ... 02-17 build
Edit: GPS working too!

Edit: I spoke to soon, no you can't. Neither over clock or under volt. You can change to the standard 5 govs.

yep we need custom kernel devs like boeffla franco etc. to help here.
Fixes for camera,
usb mass storage working only on recovery as far as I know.
But no issues to manage internal/external with local apps.
Using ashwinr64 code, with very few fixes.

On the 21th build :
- I still have the GPS stuck issue...
Did you see the changes on the Yume AOSP on GPS?
- I'm pretty sure the persons I called had somme echo issues. it happen with the 2 persons I called for a "long" time.
Updated on the 23th :
- Had to activated DTTW via kernel audiutor
- have to check the 2 bugs above

Hi,
Photo problems again on the 3th march version.
Still (had it on a lot of Oreo ROMS, never before...) have the GPS issue on it...
On the last version, I made it work changing the gps.conf.
With this version, it seems worse....

I'd find more convenient and clear for everyone to post on this subject.
Do you need some logs?
Here is a log for camera.
I just opened normal cam and take picture.
Open op5 bacon port and take one too.
Then I tried video and boths apps were OK.
PippoX3 said:
Yep, probably the better choice. I'm spending some time on it because it's my testing device. But I'd like more, to push ahead entire AOKP base. Btw, I'll follow your suggestion.
In the meanwhile I have a testing build with camera working. As far I tested, MTP only isn't working.
My work it's based upon @YumeMichi and @ashwin007 code.

Yeep. Flashed OK for me.
I'm taking a backup. GPS still locked but I know I have to install OOS to reset it...
Will test others functions but seems really fluid
@PippoX3 Okay so :
- USB mount did not work at first. Had to activate it twice, and activating aagain USB debog
- DTTW need kernel audiutor setting to work
- Photo and video OK. Panorama broken. HDR ok. didn't have time to check exactly slowmo...
- I unlocked GPS by reflashing OOS in between. Will try to figure why or what lock it this time !!
Will tell if echo on call is still here but it was gone on last build.
