Okay, you're being a little coy. As the thread title specifically states XT1032,you do realize that you'll now cause a feeding frenzy to download the OTA and Brazilian 4.4.4 XT1032 KitKat firmware?

It's very kind of you to share the XT1032 OTA,thank you!. I would have thought you might have added some additional thoughts and suggestions for installing the OTA. A mirror for the BR 4.4.4 would have been helpful too,as many users are on other 4.4.4 firmware.

For those like myself that don't read Portuguese, here's the Google translation of the tutorial:
Download the required file and copy the OTA to the device's internal memory.
Now the device, go to Settings> About Phone> System Updates.
Will the message of a new update found. Just confirm and start the update.
The device will reboot and start the update process, just wait for the process to finish.
When finished, the device will restart and voila, you are using the final version of Lollipop 5.0.2
Obstructive advise after making the upgrade to Lollipop, go Configure> Backup and Reset> Restore Factory Data and confirm. So you can avoid getting bugs or possible traces of KitKat files.
(Warning: this will erase everything that is on the device, including in internal memory, save your stuff on the computer before doing this).
Okay, now just set the machine, put your Google account and finally enjoy the official Android Lollipop.

Thanks, do I need to rename the file to "210.12.40.falcon_umts.Brasil.en.BR.zip" ?

I'm currently installing the downloaded OTA. There seems to be more than one way to install it. In my case,I'm installing it in recovery and so far,so good. There's no need to rename the file. You could also use the alternate method to install, which is to check for updates in the settings. I had to download the BR 4.4.4 firmware first, made a mistake and downloaded the wrong 4.4.4 the fist time and was getting errors while trying to install it in recovery. The wrong firmware will not give an available update from the OTA in memory from settings. Be careful if you're downloading the firmware,it must be the exact XT1032 BR 4.4.4 firmware as stated in the OP.

For those looking for the 4.4.4 ROM you need for this OTA:
Goto http://goo.gl/kKhvtj and download "XT1032_RETAIL-BR-SS_4.4.4_KXB21.14-L1.40_42_cid12_CFC_1FF.xml.zip"
You should be able to follow these instructions to flash it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
You device should then be ready to update using the OTA file

Try doing a factory reset after flashing OTA. Mine its running smoothier than with 5.0.1 GPE.

I have the US stock rom in my phone, can I install this Br stock ROM and the return to U S stock when this are released??

I'm on GPE Lollipop, what is the procedure I should follow to install this?

I have an issue, i downloaded the 4.4.4 required for this OTA, flashed, copied the OTA to the SDCARD of the phone and then tried to update but it keeps saying that i'm up to date.
I'm missing something?
EDIT: It's necessary to Update Motorola OTA app from Play Store in order to recognize the ZIP in the SDCARD

Come on folks, this stuff takes time out of people's day, and work to get things copied and uploaded; the least you can do is click a button. I know that manners are a lost legacy, but people aren't obliged to do things - they do it from the kindness of their hearts, so at least show some thankfulness - some courtesy won't take any time, and certainly won't kill you; in fact, you'll actually FEEL BETTER FOR IT

I was getting errors with the 4.4.4 OTA through philz recovery.
So I downgraded to 4.3 and updated OTA to 4.4.2 - 176.44.1.en.GB(187mb) and then an update of (8mb).
Now i am on 4.4.2 and got 4.4.4 OTA 210.12.10.en.GB.

This mean, that this OTA archive is for version 176.44.1. This mean that you cant jump (for example) from 14.71.8 (Android 4.3) to 210.12.10 (Android 4.4.4) because you need OTA with name\version 14.71.8. When you apply it - you will have 174.44.9 (4.4.2, first update). With next OTA with name\version 174.44.9 you will have the last update for 4.4.2 (176.44.1), and so on.

Today I flashed the first soak lollipop update on my Moto G XT1032, actually it is for the XT1033 version but everything is working great!
So maybe you guys don't want to update yet (yeah I was scared when updating) so I decided to give you guys a backup from the Lollipop rom! :highfive:
It's pre-rooted already. I don't know if it will work with KitKat bootloader but you guys must try!
EXPLAINATION
Some people don't understand the difference here so...
This is NOT an update, this only affects your /system and /boot partitions without upgrading bootloader etc. It's like flashing a custom rom. That's why we need to see if it's working first!
When new Lollipop versions comes, I will make new backups.
DOWNLOADZ!
REPORTED WORKING ON 4.4.2 BOOTLOADER!
These files are not flashable zips yet, you need to extract this zip in the root of your SD, then replace my serial number with your phone's serial, otherwise TWRP won't find the backup! Then restore it with TWRP.
Google Play edition 5.0.1 version (XT1032) You need to format /data to ext4!

There is a difference between direct OTA update and OTA flashable ZIP file.
By the way it's the most useful thread about Lollipop at the moment instead of 100s' of useless threads. If the ZIP file successfully flashes on KitKat bootloader then we could fix the downgrading issues from 5.0 to 4.4.4.

[OTA] Moto G 2014 XT1064 v22.21.16.en.us (5.0)

New 22.21.25 update posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/ota-moto-g-2014-xt1064-v22-21-25-en-5-0-t2978653
Just got another OTA update. No change log on the update screen. New kernel compiled on November 27.
I don't have root to pull the update from cache since my display has issues that I plan on getting a warranty replacement for
Still need someone to use ADB and grab the OTA for this. My wife's phone is not an option right now...

I agree. Memory management is significantly better than it was. No more Chromecast apps getting closed while running in the background. Still running it through the paced, but it looks much better.
Did any of you have TWRP installed prior to updating? If so, what did you do to get back to stock recovery? I received the update this morning, but can't install it because I have TWRP installed on my XT1063 variant.

Thanks for the reply! But is there a simpler way? Maybe a way to flash it via fastboot? Because root doesn't seem to play too well with my device. Keeps getting bootlooped and i know it's supposed to bootloop with the recent versions of SuperSU but it just doesn't wanna boot up.
Assuming the modified boot image for Root on 22.11.6 will not work with the update, and also assuming the boot.img will be overwritten with the update..loosing Root..
So we will be at the mercy of someone compiling a new boot.img.?

I found that flashing SuperSU caused a bootloop as well and was about to give up. But then I did it one last time and wiped cache in TWRP after flashing it. That time it worked!
The method I linked to get stock recovery back requires root.
If you can find a download of stock recovery from some random website, you can flash stock recovery through fastboot with fastboot flash recovery nameoffile.img

[XT1068] [5.0.2] [Lollipop] [Official] [OTA Capture]
Greetings my friends
Motorola released OTA update for Indian users of XT1068. Only a selected people have got this update. After searching for many hours I managed to get the link of the captured OTA zip . The OTA upgrades your 4.4.4 to 5.0.2.
Now here is the thing. I cannot confirm whether its working or not. My Internet connection is unstable since this week. I am unable to download the zip. I request the concerned users to download the zip and check the build.prop of the zip to confirm. I will download as soon as my Internet becomes okay.
For those who want to install the OTA. You have to unroot the device and be on stock 4.4.4 firmware
-Download the zip.
-Place the zip in the root of your internal storage. (not in any folder)
-Go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
-The phone will detect the zip and then from there update to Lollipop.
Please give your feedback below so that I will know whether the OTA is working or not.

-Go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
-The phone will detect the zip and then from there update to Lollipop.
Please give your feedback below so that I will know whether the OTA is working or not.

You can't just go ahead and make a thread in the Android Development section. You didn't even try it yourself. What are you even doing here. If you have hunches like these, please post them on a Notepad on your computer or Google Keep on your phone.
Well I got something really strange. Look at my screenshot. This just happened a few minutes ago.
Seems like the system is like upgrading progressively and automatically!!!!!!!
Look at the menu, it's white!
I swear I haven't done anything.

Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up with Lollipop lol
This is just the New Google Now Launcher, i got it yesterday with the 21.11.23 update. This isn't Lollipop, just KitKat 4.4.4
This is an issue with dev-host. They have ads which pop up and disguise themselves as the download - but end up being spam/trojan/malware.
Removing the download link and @sharkymyn can find a new host.

How to install this update on XT1032 global single sim? using stock 4.4.4
Screen shots of build number please
Thanks a lot
Every screenshot on google plus say 220.21.28
I don't know how you have gotten .40 version even before the soak testers
I installed soak test lollipop before. Can I install it?
@mmxandy and Saurabh :
Thank you bros. Successfully updated from KitKat Stock to Lollipop without any issues I also thank @deeplyyoung for treating me with TWRP soak for all these days.
For Newbies, assuming you are on Kitkat Stock Asian ROM. Download and place this in /sdcard. Reboot into stock recovery and apply update from sdcard. Process took nearly 30-40mins to boot up. You will need to be patient while update is in process.
A few strange things quickly noticed
1. Google play label bar icon (in app drawer) can't be clicked.
2. Camera Roll now show all captured videos at top followed by captured images later.
Can anybody please tell if there is any difference between this release and SOAK release?
But it is same as the soak test build number.
So what is the point in updating?

I'd analyse it like this:
Stock Kitkat had System Version 210.12.40.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03 so the corresponding update OTA file signature would be Blur_Version.210.12.40.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en .03
Whilst those in Soak update would have 220.21.28 so the corresponding update OTA file signature would be Blur_Version.220.21.28.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.e n.03.zip
Conclusion: Both bring to the same result of official lollipop but OTA file signatures are different. In short one update to bring from stock kk to official lp. And another to bring from soak lp to official lp.
install this over soak test version
Should i install this version over soak test version and how to do that?
Anyone installed this could confirm that flickering problem dissapear while we on adaptive brightness. Anyways thanks for sharing this

"OTA file signatures are different"
what does it mean?
I've check MD5 checksum both OTA zip, and they have the same value
I think no need to flash this OTA if you have installed LP OTA that they called SOAK TEST
It's the same OTA with same build number & build date that was soak tested for the last 10 days. No need to flash over it if you already installed Lollipop.
