Is it possible to request a android app?
If you are not familiar with anynet+ it is a feature for samsung devices, connecting samsung devices to each other.
As an android app it could be used to control a samsung tv, I was wondering if this is possible?
could anyone with a samsung galaxy (for example) check out what kind of transmitter anynet+ is using?

I wonder if there is an app that can record each button (one by one) of my custom IR remote and then save the command so I can send it through my S4. You know, like in old days, record IR command of each button than save it as a remote for the future.
I just want to control some unbranded products that will never be supported by WatchON or any IR Blaster app out there that count on a list of regular codes for each brand.

Unfortunately our S4 lacks the hardware to receive IR signals- it can only transmit. I believe the HTC OneX has the learning functions as well. Wonder if one could use one to copy the remote and transfer the files to the S4.
I have watch on set up and it works perfectly. I also have samsung smart view set up and it also works fine at cloning tv. My problem is in samsung smart view I get a message that universal remote control has not been configured so app can only be used to duplicate tv view. I'm pretty sure the remote control with smart view used to work. Any suggestions to get it working again? Watch on is all set up and works fine. I assume that is what is meant by setting up universal remote control.

I just picked up a Samsung Gear Fit 2 while it was on sale to give the Android smart watch experience a try! I was able to download the Samsung Gear app from the Play Store, but unfortunately, I get an error when I try to open the app that says:

After searching online for some fixes, some people seemed to have varying levels of success with modifying the build.prop file? A lot of people still had issues then connecting with the Gear device, or with things like the IR blaster being disabled when the manufacturer was changed in the build.prop file.
I'm currently using the MIUI 8 ROM.
Has anyone had success with getting the Samsung Gear app to work with a custom ROM? And if so, what was the fix?

Or you can use a phone with ir sensor to control the tv in mine case I had chosen Samsung tv remote option in the app and it is working fine.
