Dear Maudta,
There's no known method ever to restore KNOX WARRANTY VOID to 0x0.
This has been only done on one device out of the whole Samsung lineup; only one variant of the Note 3.
Imagine it's like a broken seal on a jar; the only way to restore it is to buy a new jar, or get a new seal.

You're welcome!
But you have to know this:
Samsung service centers won't even take a look at a device with KNOX WARRANTY VOID = 0x1.
Your warranty is void. Forever.

[Q] Some questions regarding knox counter and rooting.

My new i9505 comes with the firmware XXUDMH6 (locked bootloader), on the download mode I saw some additional counters like KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0 and KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0. Will rooting the phone increase these counters? Another question, if I install custom roms with based UDMl1, will I able to download it again to my stock MH6 rom? Will that also increase the counters?
Please advice.
Thank you.

Indeed...
You'll actually have to make a choice between
Root, tweak, custom rom, mods, battery life (not with all roms, be careful), FREEDOM etc...
vs
Warranty
If you live in the EU you could challenge Samsung on denying warranty based on flashing. There's a legal right to a statutory warranty that cannot beer voided by flashing

I'm having the same Bootloader version,
Why is it locked? As I know I9505 should be unlocked bootloader.

Yes, it seems u're right but i found this german website:http://www.mobtivity.com/de/news/galaxy-note-3-update-auf-android-kitkat-mit-root-und-knox-0x0.html.
Anyone can explain what is this?
This link is an interesting read....
This douchbag tells us nothing about knox or even warns about it...
then says you can root 4.4.2 and it will Void your warrenty(by this he means knox 0x1)
he then goes on to saying you can reflash 4.4.2 without root to "get back your warrenty".
i guess he doesnt know that once its 0x1 it cant be reset...
or he knows something we dont..???

This is not new for me, i'm aware of this, I had a Samsung S4...when u are a flashmaniac u take risks... I sold my S4 with Knox 0x1. But i guess some people don't care about Knox when they want to flash custom roms. Anyway this Knox s**t is ridiculous. Samsung made a bad move and many samsung fans will never buy a samsung device anymore.

No Custom ROM Available for J5 just yet...
Hi guys.
Just wondering if any of you have managed to get a custom ROM for the J5 yet? Also, as far as I know all methods of root will trip the knox on the device - So thats something to keep in mind.
Any devs got the time to create a custom rom for this? Can help out providing anything you need from device and am willing to test builds.

Kingroot was root J5 without Knox. but Be careful. Kingroot can result in FRP lock and Knox Warranty does not changed to 0x0. I tested TWRP and CF AUTO ROOT to SM-J500N0 and if you have more questions, please answer. And our Cafe's address is http://cafe.naver.com/galaxyj5 and I'm Korean novice developer.
I tested it with the Kingroot and now i have 0x1 Knox :crying:

Can you root the Galaxy s8 without voiding knox warranty?

I saw a post on android central and a guy said he was able to root his note 3 with out tripping knox, he said that it didn't trip because he didn't flash a custom rom, and since SuperSU promps you if you want to disable knox when you download it. So my question is do you need a custom rom to root the galaxy s8 and does SuperSU actually stop knox from tripping?
Here is the link to that forum post that I saw:

Bro it was the first knox now it's smarter. You flash something that is not Samsung and your warranty is gone.
