We can also edit the javascript this way:
1. Right click on greasemonkey icon on the lower right side of the firefox window and select "Manage User Script"
2. Click on "Replace Text on Webpage" and click "edit".
3. Give the path to Notepad text editor in the browse window [%windir%\notepad.exe] and press enter....
I think this will be easier... You might consider editing the guide and adding this...
or, they could just turn it off.

It'd take a few minutes to write a script that would issue a 24 hour ban on anyone who posts that phrase. The ban message could then instruct the person that they must disable the tapatalk signature.
That's how I'd do it at least. I know the admins here would never do that... for better or for worse...

Look guys, admin agrees and they are working with the developer to fix this with an update to tapatalk expected not too far away. Then the 13 year olds who look on annoying people with spam as the greatest achievements of their lives will have to go back to torturing defenseless animals or whatever they did before their mommies and daddies gave them a cell phone they don't have the maturity to use.

Cough Cough, if the developer was really interested in modifying (not fixing) this attribute of his application he/she would have done so in the release that came out a few day ago, well after the inititial cerfuffal. The changes in that build were, "v1.3.1:- Add Signature Customization". So don't hold your breath.
My guess on a more correct statement would be "Look guys, admin agrees and they are working ON the developer to fix this..."

I do, so I researched a way to do it, and found this out.

5. Just press the home button to exit the browser. In a well behaved app it will just sit in memory not using any CPU or any battery. android will silently kill the browser app if it needs the ram for another app.
Unfortunately this only works if the app is well behaved. The XDA forum app for example is a bad app. As it breaks the Android guide lines because after you press the home button the app still servers adverts in the background eating up CPU.
A good Android app is meant to COMPLETELY shut down when the app is not visible (by pressing for example the home button). So it does not matter that it is sitting in ram as it is not using any CPU or battery.

1. The email address you entered should not effect the updates from Kies. However the carrier branding (eg T-Mobile) can prevent updates from comming through. What version are you on? My last update from Kies brought me upto build KF3.
The locked email is purely required for app purchases. If you get a replacement phone, using the same email address will restore all your download apps. However if you want to sell your phone then you need to wipe the phone so the buyer can't use your account.

1- If you meant Firmware update, then you just plug the device in with PC and run Kies, if there is an update available it will say.
3- It's a Diary with Location/Geo tagging feature.
6- Just press Home button to minimize from Stock browser, then Exit via Task Manager.

I used only two Nokia's before, E90, N95, they were Symbian and supported the OTA update, but this ain't Symbian, nor Nokia.

It is the build number I was asking for and who is your carrier? The carrier branding can stop the update coming through Kies (the carrier has to proved the updates and a lot of them don't bother.)

I'm trying to make my own icon pack, and I don't know much about xml coding. I've been trying to learn through other people's templates, but I was hoping someone could help explain to me how to target specific launchers. What about the xml coding targets LGHome launcher? I was hoping to make my start there.
-I fully understand DPI, and the sizes of the icons required to work in all forms (mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi, and xxxhdpi) I also understand that the Google Play icon must be at least 512px x 512px
-I understand file formatting, though I DO NOT KNOW what format would be best in this case to use (I think bitmaps were recommended strongly)
-I have the latest version of Android Studio and Android SDK Standalone
I will be experimenting with codes and icons, but I am unsure of how to test them on one of my own Android Devices (LG G2 & Nexus 10)
Would I upload the file directly to my device once I pack it? How do I make my project into an APK
To target other launchers you need to find package id of the particular launcher and add the same to main activity of your app.
You need to export the file using adt or to test ypu can also run the app in adt and install it in your phone.

Install apex launcher and tap for 3 sec on the home screen free area. This will open menu and show u shortcut option slext the same and then select activity.
Now scroll down until u find the desired launcher and it will show u the package id.
Ps you need to have launcher installed first to see the package id.
Alternatively, open playstore in pc and search the app you want to see the package id. Open its page and on top it will show you the package id.
