Android One represents Google’s attempt at reaching “the next billion users” – CyanogenMod 11 (KitKat) builds are available for the ‘sprout’ devices. As the devices are currently setup for CM11 only (work on CM12 is in progress) these builds will trickle once a week, every Sunday.
The ‘sprout’ builds are unified for all three Android One devices (due in large part to their similar hardware).

HELLO guys, so since we have only 3.4.67 kernel, on HTC Desire 816G MT6592 variant, and after I have built multiple Lolipop/Marshmallow roms and struggled with lag issues and high temperature on device since kernel isn't compatible I decided to port CM 11, a really great kitkat version with lots of features and can be themed to have LL/MM style and all went right except for the part that when I boot the device it gets stuck on bootlogo, your help guys is really appreciated in order to make our device great again

I have read around that have been created various custom rom because xiaomi has released kernel source based on hours, the question is:
When I go out android 9 while xiaomi has not done android stock based on android 9 missing the kernel based on android 9 then there will be no custom rom based on android 9 missing the source of the kernel?

It's possible to have Android P without kernel sources but it can take a longer time to make and most likely buggy in the first few months of development
Look at older phones such as Galaxy S2. It has Android 8.1 even tho official development ended more than a decade ago

So as I understood this rom is for redmi note 7 pro but it works for all devices so this is a gsi maybe
