[Recovery] Nexus 9 Recovery Zip Collection - Nexus 9 General

Over time, for my own use, I've created recovery zip files for the Nexus 9 (non-LTE) and thought I'd share them in one place. These are all flashable in your current custom recovery. I have not done any of the heavy lifting and all credit goes to Team Win. All I've done is take their image files and put them into a flashable zip file. I'll try to keep these up to date as new images are posted.

Should be, I flashed it on my device. I'll take a look at it though.

I can confirm the latest device is working on the LTE nexus 9. I rooted and flashed today with no issues.

Can you please add the modified usbhost twrp version as well as a flashable zip?

If you have twrp already installed as recovery, the IMG file can be flashed directly in recovery.

You can select root or not when installing, it uses aroma installer.
I would flash the odexed rather than de-odexed as I read that some people have issues with that.
Here is the latest bootloader, I flashed this first http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928915
Also the toolkits (stickied in development section) have the ability to do a stock rom. That's not from recovery though.

Yes you will be able to use them. And download the twrp 2.5.0.2 zip and flash when you are able to get into recovery.

Flashify + 2.8.3.0 --> Download Mode
I am on TWRP 2.8.1.0. I used Flashify to flash 2.8.3.0 img. The phone rebooted into Download Mode with no selectable menu options and stating it could not boot normally and write protection is enabled. Neither a long power button hold, a long power button hold + plus volume up, nor a battery pull would stop the phone from booting immediately into Download Mode.
I used the combo volume up + home button + long power button and instead of the previous Download Mode screen, a different screen pops up giving me two choices continue loading a custom OS or rebooting. When I select "reboot", the phone reboots normally. When I tried to enter TWRP recovery without using Flashify, the phone rebooted to Download Mode again. When I tried to use Flashify to flash a zip of TWRP 2.8.1.0, Flashify could not access the zip. I tried the TWRP app (which didn't work so well for me in the past), and it too leads to Download Mode when I try to flash the 2.8.1.0 zip or install OpenRecovery Script 2.8.1.0.
Unfortunately, my USB port is non-functional. (It died in an accident a few months back.) I cannot connect to my laptop via wire connection. (I can use FTP and bluetooth to transfer files and FTP to traverse the file system.)
Without being able to enter recovery mode nor using ADB, any ideas how can install or restore a functional recovery?

You're on nb1 bootloader. Safestrap is the only recovery that will work. To use twrp you'd have to be on mdl and you can't go back to that. See the link I gave you in your other thread. That's all you can do with the device and firmware you're on

Any thoughts on how I can restore TWRP 2.8.1.0 without using recovery and without a wired connection to another computer? I explained the situation above.
On MDL, using Dirty Unicorns 8.1, Android 4.4.4.

If you're rooted use flashify from the play store. Download the image from (Google i337 team win)
Edit, just read your previous post. Try flashify. If that doesn't work see the method through a terminal emulator given on team win site, the one you googled, using dd command

Wow. Thanks for the quick response but I don't think you read my message.
As posted above, I used Flashify to flash the official 2.8.3.0 img. However, the phone rebooted into Download Mode with no selectable menu options and stating it could not boot normally and write protection is enabled. Neither a long power button hold, a long power button hold + plus volume up, nor a battery pull would stop the phone from booting immediately into Download Mode.

Problem with TWRP recovery

HI to all,
I am experiencing an issue with my LG g2 from this morning so i will be glad if someone could help a little. Thanks in advance.
So.. i am using lg g2 with cyano 12.1 and this morning i saw that they have released the 13.0 nightlys so i decided to give them a shot. I downloaded that latest one and installed it but after that my phone wouldn't turn on. I started to make some checks i noticed that i am using twrp 2.7.0.0 which i think is pretty old at the moment. So i downloaded 5.1.1 rom everything went well with installing it. My plan was to download the 5.1.1 install it and after that update the twrp recovery to the latest and after that to install the 13.0 nightly.. I downloaded Flashfy and tried to update to the latest twrp recovery and after reboot i get an error message about some certificate and the phone wont boot up at all. If i press the power and volume down button it starts and i can use it normally but no chance to get in twrp recovery. When I run the twrp manager it says that the current version is still 2.7.0.0. So... please advise me how to proceed with this issue and how can i update in the most easiest way the twrp recovery?
Did u install a bumped TWRP
I don't have any idea the zip that i downloaded from Flashify was the latest.
How can i tell if its a bump recovery? Now i have a option to flash 2.6 something from the twrp manager. Would that fix the issue?

The link is below ..... you can flash it in TWRP or flashify whichever u prefer....... the a bumpted or lokied custom recovery is needed for lg g2 devices as our bootloader is technically still locked.
