[Q] Pit file for I9300i - Galaxy S3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Guys
I have my GT-I9300i bricked, It was flashed with many recovery files, and rooted many times, but finally it stopped working, Just stops at BOOT SCREEN, and from twrp says " NO OPERATING SYSTEM".
Also I tried to flash with Odin, but no luck, the device doesn't accept file.
I'm thinking using PIT file to repartition device might help, but I can't find a PIT for I9300i
So please can any one provide the PIT file for me? Or can suggest a solution for me?
I will be grateful

If you installed cwm or twpr try to reflash cm11, 12 or if you have the stock one. Gieb more information about your boot manager.

[Q] I9505 pit file needed!

After rooting of my i9505 went wrong i'm left with a soft-bricked s4.
I can still boot into download mode but when i try to install original firmware it fails saying something about pit.
So my question is; does anyone have this file?
Or maybe a uber friendly xda member that can make this pit file through heimdall. It's only a very small file and it would take seconds to make it i think. If one of you guys (or girls) could help me get that pit file, i will owe you one forever!
Please tell me you got this file, or something similar for a fix? I attempted to flash a custom recovery and then a custom ROM, failed miserably and attempted to restore to stock to leave it as is (both through Kies and wipe/factory reset). Unfortunately, the phone boots, but just hangs on the samsung boot animation with a pulsing blue LED - is this similar to yours OP?
Any help would also be hugely appreciated.

[Q] I need help! Soft brick my note 4, need a .PIT file.

My phone is stuck on firmware on "upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
I tried Kies 3 and it doesn't recognise the phone. I tried different firmwares the invalid .4ext error and says the file too big 475000 < 512000 something among those lines. I read that I will need to re-partition the memory with .PIT file for the note 4, which is no where to be found on google. I hope someone will be kind enough to extract the .PIT file from their phone and post it here.
Cheers,
Mus

Guys I tried flash latest Sweden and have same problem size too big and ext4 failed, then I flash Philz recovery and voila phone booted everything its ok!!!
If you download a stock Samsung ROM, remove the .md5 from the end of it, and then extract the archive, you should find the PIT file in there.
I've not had to do it myself, because I'm using an S4 at the moment and was able to get a PIT file download on its own. So I can't verify 100% that it will be there, but I read it in a thread somewhere that it is.
Give it a try..
same problem
i hv same problem. but after instaling all samsung recovery.tar via odin it stuck on start up showing "android is not seandroid recovery."
i hv tried dfrnt stock firmware to flash via odin but all fails. need help?????????????

[Q] Bricked SM-G900W8 looking for partition file

Hello, I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to flashing and have managed to brick my s5(rogers(SM-G900W8)canadian). I have looked around and it seems as though in order to get my phone to work I need a pit file for my phone. Problem is, I can't find one. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. by the way I have rooted and enabled usb debugging prior to being bricked
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2800218&d=1402859206
so that should work?
Well that's the PIT file for your model phone, whether or not it unbricks it depends on what you did to brick it
I bricked it by attempting to flash philz touch recovery in odin 3.09 and it failed. Now I have the message:"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." on my phone, I tried doing exactly that but kies detects my phone but never finishes loading it up. So I tried flashing the stock firmware for my device model and got the same issue I did when attempting to flash the recovery. As far as i know I didn't do anything wrong as i was very careful to select the right files, etc. but clearly I did.
Well you've got nothing to lose by trying the PIT file
Not flashed PIT before so read up on exactly how to do it first, this is the thread I got the link for your phone from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2737448
Tried flashing the file and that failed as well... not looking too good.
I guess my phone's useless now.
Did you check the "Re-Partition" in ODIN?
Are you using the latest version of ODIN3 (3.10.6) ?
Try ODIN3 version 3.0.7 too
(Obviously) Got phone in download mode
Tried just flashing a stock ROM from sammobile
Tried flashing the stock ROM along with the PIT file & Stock ROM together?
tried it all, when trying to flash the pit file as well though it gives me "SECURE CHECK FAIL : PIT" on my phone. whenever I try to flash it it always fails at system.img.ext4 with Complete(Write) operation failed.
I think I know the issue now, I'm using VMware, which apparently doesn't work. Will try on a windows pc in a while. thanks
Ah right, yea always best from a native PC
Let us know if you get it working
It worked and then I installed the newest cyanogenmod.

Help Needed Please

Hi
I have managed to F*** up my Samsung S7 Edge.
I am currently stuck on Samsung Logo , I have twrp 3.1.0.1 installed and can enter bootloader without issue.
I cannot however install stock rom through Odin, it states pit file needed, I have tried several with no results.
In twrp unable to Wipe data as unable to mount storage. Not able to install from zip as pc does not see storage.
I have tried the following stock firmware
G935FXXU1DQC4_G935FOXA1DQB1_BTU
I have tried installing new CSC which i believe has pit file inbedded.
I have tried installing each part separately BL,AP,CSC, etc
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Did you uncheck "repartition" in Odin? Do NOT repartition.

Hi Yes I did.
Hi All
Update after 18hrs i have managed to rectify the above problem.
I downloaded a Marshmallow firmware and installed CSC file. This flashed the missing pit file and then got stuck on Nand Write Start. I tried installing full firmware but same issue. I then attempted Nougat full firmware which installed!!!!!
That was slightly more stressful than it should of been. Never happened before. Some seriously dodgy looks from the Mrs.

Help need i9506 32 gb pit file

Hi
I need 32 gb pit file for Gt- I9506. as i messed with odin .
thanks for help.
When you are flashing with Odin, what is the error message? Posting the full log will help determine possible issues.
Hi
i was getting odin fail ext4 errer while flashing orignal 5.0.1 software .
So i tried to flash with pit file but unfortunatly used 16gb pit file and now i can boot in download mode or twrp but internal memory is messed up or wrongly mapped so cant flash any coustom rom.
i think i can still flash orignal with right pit file!
thanks
Please post a link or upload where i can find 32gb pit file !
thanks
Hi Pl. Help! still Cant finde suitable pit file ! Thanks
Hi,
When flashing, did you select repartition? What message did you get from Odin while trying to upload the 16gb pit file, was it successful?
Try to flash a stock firmware, then a custom recovery, and then a custom rom. Sometimes you just need to start over.
Have not found the 32gb pit file yet, but will continue to search.

When Odin gives an error when repartition is selected and no pit file is selected, i think you are fine.
I did not manage to find a file, searched through google and lxquick, browsed a few pages, with no results, sorry.
Since download and recovery still works i do not think any repartition did happen. If Odin failed this time while flashing the stock firmware, please save the log and post it here, makes it easier for us to understand what is happening. Thank you.
