L5 and l5ii are different smartphones with different hardware
You CANT use l5 rom on l5ii.
However this is the forum of FIRST lg geneation, for l5ii like l3ii,l9ii you must search/ask in SECOND lg generation forum...
The link that you posted is for l5 e610!!

Smoother jellybean mini project(4.1.2) everything work exceft battery charging while phone is off
Cute and updated cm11 by mr. Plamb1r(4.4.4) everything work except sometimes phone screen freeze and you need to reboot
Stabler where everything work is stock by lg, you can root it and delete some bloatware
I hate lg design(4.1.2) so i moved to cm11 v5 by plamb1r after about 1 year on an other cm11 by pecancm.
This is my experience, and these are the best roms that i found, i tested everything on this phone

Really really thanks for your answer, right now I´m trying CyanHacker ROM V 2.0 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/orig-development/rom-cyanhacker-rom-1-1-t2894511 ) it has a lot of features but it works really bad on my father´s phone (very very laggy and poor smoothness), also the ROM have a lot of apps that my father don´t need and when I delete it, for example greenify, the apps are back after a reboot.
I also hate LG design like my father, so I´, gonna find the ROM that you are using actually ( cm11 v5 by plamb1r) and give it a try!!!
Again thanks for all the info that you provided for me (and others )
EDIT: This is the ROM that you are using actually right? http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/orig-development/unofficial-cyanogenmod-11-t2919279 and the other JB ROM that you recommend to me is this right? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2619607

uhm... For me, CM11 SBP v5 by Mr.Plamb1r is the best kitkat rom, everything PERFECT but sometime screen freezed ( i know all kitkat rom have this problem )
Jelly bean mini project is very good but it based on CM so sometime random reboot, this problem make me uncomfortable
If you want a stable and smooth rom, try SBP project from Mr. Plamb1r like AVATAR rom(4.1.2) http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/development/avatar-rom-t2947042 (remember flash all the fixs )
and CM10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/development/l5-cm10-sbp-rom-edition-t2927217
Everything work PERFECT for me and remember don't charging phone when it shutted down(AVATAR and CM10 rom, if you don't want to get a white screen and must putting out the battery )

[Q] L7 - Stock Jelly Bean Root / Stable Rom Recommendations

EDIT: Used Framaroot (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276) and it seems to have worked fine. Think I am also happy with this stock rom. Sorry for making this post without taking enough time first.
Hi,
Just got an L7 (P700) today and been looking around at Roms but nothing really grabbed me. Installed CWM but then decided to just update to JB using the LG Support Tool.
Firstly I can't seem to find any details on rooting the JB update. Is it just the same "What you desire!" tool or can I not find it for a reason?
Secondly, I can't really find any decent recommendations for roms because the people asking are normally incomprehensible. I would like a rom that is going to be stable with everything working and will not need updating. Ideally it would be CM but any JB rom that is stable I would be interested in. Most of them seem to be in quite heavy development with frequent updates and I would feel I was missing out by not getting them.
Sorry for wasting peoples time with these simple questions and thanks for any responses.

[Q] Lg Optimus L7 - P700 So SLOW ?

Hey i bought lg l7 - p700 T-MOBILE and when i bought it it had Android 4.0.3, so i updated it with official LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL immediately to 4.1.2 but my phone is so slow. I dont have too mutch apps installed but it always shows 80-85% on the 360 mobile security application what can i do too speed it up ? It it laggy on the lock screen when i draw the pattern too. When using it for some time i think that the lagg is dissapearing. I rooted many phones and installed roms, but i dont want to root this one because there is risk always to brick it, as i said its new so i wont get another one soon. Did someone else had the same experience ? Are there any apps to boost my phone speed ?
Thanks.
Hi! Same experience with P-700, this phone have only 512mb of ram, so with this rom it's not enough. I've tried some scripts found on forum but the best for me is custom rom. If you want only stock rom, reflash ics with kdz. For scripts you can go here: http://forum.android.com.pl/f759/scrypty-lg-l7-optymalizacja-i-przya-pieszenie-290882/

Thanks for this, i can easy downgrade to ICS with lg mobile support tool but i dont know if the problem will be solved...
I dont want to take the risk for flashing custom rom because of the bootloader and other things because its locked by T-mobile who knows what scripts they putted in this time like on my lg p500 ...
Personally, i've flash unlocked ics rom (Bootloader, root.) three days after buy before installing scripts and custom roms. I've never test scripts on stock roms.
Actually, if you don't want to root your device, it will stay slow and laggy. With 512Mb of RAM and the heavy LG firmware, your LG will always be slow, no matters how much scripts or optimizations you use. The only way to get rid of it is to root it. Each ROM on this forum runs faster than V20, and if you respect the basic rules of security, there's no reason to brick your device. And do not downgrade to 4.0.3, it's horrible.

These kind of scripts are not really useful... I used them on my Nex7 and my LG L7 and I've seen nothing excepted a slower device...

Yes we can but you need to be rooted and have a custom recovery installed. Be reminded that rooting and flasing a custom rom WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY so be cautious when going through the process.
There's a lot of G3 ROM here in the forum and I can't say which is the best since I haven't tried all of them. I'm currently using CloudyG3 and I haven't encountered any major bugs yet.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783192
As for the QuickCircle case, there's no such thing unless you cut the quickwindow to a circular one.
Thanks for replay, it is better to have the lg G2 with the G3 rom or not ? thanks
@piranha007 it all depends on whether you like the g3 rom or more g2. If you like g3 just go ahead and have it but I also suggest you to make a visit to Dorimanx stock kernel thread in the android development forum. I dont know 100% or it works on g3 stock but I believe it works :/.
Enjoy your device
Thanks guys for your help i will go to G3 rom, but i have lot off to reed because i'm a ios user, and it's my first android phone. Thanks again.
@piranha007 yes since you are now an android user you are now free out of prison and you can almost do and customize whatever you want cause its android
Yes i agree, i'm free now , no jailbreak, no desimlock, no baseband problem hhhh
Note: you will NOT have wireless storage by default on G3 ROMs - you will need to install apps such as airdroid.

If you want to run custom ROM, your phone needs to be rooted and gets custom recovery installed.
It's some sorts of jailbreaking.
No baseband problem? Don't set the bar too high. In almost every Android forum, you'll see radio/baseband/ thread. We, Androider do flash different baseband frequently. Why? 'cuz there is problems.

ROM suggestion for LG G2 (D802)

Hi, first of all, im getting my phone tomorrow so I havnt tried any ROMs yet. But I am familiar to the whole xda thing thanks to my Galaxy S2. I hope someone can help out
Im looking for a custom ROM that meets the following needs (D802 model):
- great battery life!
- lightweight (dont want it to take too much space since I have the 16GB variant)
- pure performance over looks
- stable, no bugs.
Thats pretty much it, which ROM would u guys think would suit me the best? Oh, and one more question. Whats the difference between "G2 Android Development" and "G2 Android Development (D802)" what goes under the first category then? I have the D802 (Europe) model, so I should be looking under D802 right?
I'll be getting the G2 in a few days too and I will try CM12 and see what LG features are missing and can i live without them.
With my experience with the G2 and some of flashing roms...I advise you to do the following: Get twrp recovery and flash CM12...the LG FlashTool that I used to flash it's a horrific little program...always breaking down! I have now 5.0.2 but if I knew I would get twrp recovery and flashed CM12...
It's an excelent ROM and it's so much easy to flash updates or other roms also...
Thanks for the replies. Can you link me the CM12 rom for D802 model, i couldnt find it myself for some reason.
e: found the CM12 ROM, but it appears that its not bug free?
XenonHD looks very promising, has anyone tried it?

If you want the best battery life use stock 20H.
Its lightweight too, if you purge the unneeded apps.
Its fast, if you dont use stock launcher.
Stable and no bugs.
With root, twrp, xdabbeb camera, adblock, xposed modules and works like a charm, its the best for this device.
Lollipop has some bugs, CM12 a lot of them in daily use.
But if you want more try MIUI V6 by gtbluesky. I love it.
Knife.mstr , thanks for the reply!
What about this one. This seems to be stock 4.4.2 but with bloatware already removed. What do you think of this ROM?
About MIUI...I have to admit, it looks really damn good but for some reason I am afraid to try it How does MIUI effect battery, performance (is it fluid), bugs and so on?

I didnt try it, but can be good.
MIUI 's performance is great. Battery is between stock 20h and 30b. Worst as kitkat but better than stock lollipop. (everything is upon usage)
Only few bugs, like music player drains battery a bit (can be freeze), not every xposed modul can be used.
For me the mipop was hard to use at first, but i liked it. (and can be turned off if you not)
If you run into install bugs, like no sensor or bt or wifi, just return to stock, then reinstall it.
Sometimes 4G dosnt work after update, in this case you need to set in hidden menu *#*#4636#*#* to another network, than return to default, thats fix it.
If you use titanium backup, you can freeze unneded miui apps, like video, or market but use the fun features like deny apps to reach your contacts.

A few thing about threads like this:
These turn into flame wars. Everybody feels their rom is best and will meet your criteria.
Have you searched?
Have you read the features of many different choices?
Have you done your own research on your device?

Really? Well you should know better than to create such a thread.
Now go out and learn about your new device, as this thread is now closed.
