flash it, but to be honest i didn't try it so try it on your own risk

http://www.srsroot.com/supported
Please use find in page and search G360, Srs root supports its very few firmwares. So you might need to downgrade your firmware.
But i have yet to check if its true or not.

I tried SRSRoot. It says that SU was installed (see messages below) but nothing was installed indeed. I tried several times. While all the times it reports that SU was installed the device is not rooted. HELP!!

Which firmware did you try?. The same one mentioned in supported in the list?.

Where can I find the firmware of my cell? Do you mean the "Build ID"? It is KTU84P.G360FXXU1ANL3. This is exactly the same as the one in the supported list.
My cell phone also provides several other parameters:
Baseband version : G360FXXU1ANL3
Kernel versoin: 3.10.28-294663, [email protected] #1, Fri Dec 5
Build number: KTU84P.G360FXXU1ANL3
KNOX version : KNOX 2.2, Standard SDK 5.2.0, Premium SDK 2.2.0, Customization SDK 1.0.0, Conetiner 2.2.0, IM 2.0.0, CEP 2.0.0 ...

Samsung galaxy core lte sm-g360f
Hello,
This method for get root Will Work and for g360f version ?
Thanks in advance

Still I can't root the device!! :crying:
The instructions say to get the G360H root kernel (step 2 on youtube video). Where do you find this file? I have G360F. Is there a root file for G360F?
Also what do you mean when you say "Step 2: Install iroot for pc. " in your instructions? Should we use iroot or Odin ?? I used iroot and it couldn't root my device (BTW I got several virus pop-ups from mcafee but my PC and cell are still alive )

Root file link is given in youtube video description.
Flash root kernel via odin.
Then insatall iroot in your pc
Then root your device.

Help get CWM for SM-G360H.

Same here....I am unable to root my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Somebody help please!!

Hey buddy i have rooted my galaxy core prime as per the above method. It works fine bro.

I have also tried to root my Core Prime (G360G) with SRS root, it says I'm rooted but there are no SU binaries and thus can't install any root programs. The SRS website even listed me as rooted!

@bmcosier did u follow the exact same process?
If yes. Then most probably iroot has installed the Chinese version of superuser(the one with the lion or horse icon... Whatever). The binaries have already been installed onto by this chinese superuser app. Thats y u r not able to update ur binaries with supersu.(There can be only one binary using app at a time)
This app will be in chinese hopefully. But once u open it. It will check for online update and you will get the English version. Now all u got to do is navigate to
Settings>grant root access to app
and mark the option which is turned off by default.
There after u would be able to have full root access.
Try this and share your views.
Thanks

Sorry for very late,
If download fails uninstall ministro and reinstall then redownload libraries....
After downloading libraries click press here to poot ..U r phone will stuck with blackscreen or it will reboot..
If it with blackscreen take out battery and restart then hurrily open poot and again press "Click here to poot" (If these option available)
Then you will see 3 options like "get superuser app" but not stable ..These options wil disappear soon...So as soon as you got 3 options download superuser app and enjoy
I tried this poot on galaxy mini 2 S6500D.
First time attempt to tap "press here to poot", my phone was blank and reboot immediately.
I check su file not pushed in /system/xbin.
Reboot my phone manually, and open poot again...
This time poot show debug text, instead of suddenly reboot my phone.
It say :

[-] Current && current != last + 1: 0000ffff 0000ffff
[-] Haxx has run its coarse. Reboot the device to play again
A demon materialized while pooting. Error code: 87
su binary was not written
You need to restart your device
Second attempt without reboot, produce error 22.
Did it had any chance to root my phone?
I know It was used for Cherry W100, but aleast it nearly identical to Mini 2. Thats why I test poot.

Wait... Your device is a Marvell 1908? Im who did the TWRP 3.0.0, flash the G531M TWRP and flash the SuperSu zip from the page, that is an easy and secure root, if you're having problems with that PM Me
---------- Post added at 02:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:05 AM ----------
Flash the G531M TWRP Recovery, since both phones have the same processor it is most likely to work, then flash the SuperSu root zip with TWRP and that would work.

I'm a bit confused here. A few months ago I used your set of steps to upgrade to SU6-7 with permanent root (even though I still have locked bootloader). Does this new set of steps allow downgrading to SU4-21 and then the ability to use Sunshine to unlock bootloader? Thanks!
Can I do Write Protection with this ROM?

Write protection is still enabled so the root is limited as far as what you can do with it.

I mean to install a custom recovery or flash a custom rom!
No, you would not be able to install a custom recovery with method. Unless you have su4-21 or lower your bootloader is locked and at this time there isn't a method to unlock it.
Also you can't downgrade to an older su version, once you have su5-24 or above the qfuse is blown.
As said above you can achieve root, but since the system is still write protected root access is limited. The other option is to perm root your device, and try safestrap, I hope I'm allowed to post that in the thread, sorry if I'm not.

Without write protection disabled you cannot install custom recovery or flash custom roms.
Also, if you are on 4.4.4 there is no full root available at this time.
any chance to implement/add Czech language on this ROM?

I have the same concerns. Are we supposed to downgrade to the SU4-21???Will this grant us the ability to use Sunshine and unlock our bootloaders?? I thought it wasn't possible to downgrade??? Please I'm lost here I want to do this but I'm am unsure of the outcome?
You can add any language, but it takes a lot of time.
can you tell me how to do it?
- unpack apk
- transtale xml value-en to value-cz
- pack
- install on update from twrp
- check work

how can I add the gesture of jedi to my phone? what files do I need to take from your rom?
I do not want to take the whole rom, would be great if i could only take a few files and push the diff to my phone
Can i use this to flash it right over my rooted SU6-7 (rooted with your method months ago, Crash) or do i need to re-flash original stock (without root)?
will my phone be still rooted if i factory reset it..?

Eonon GA2175

Hello everyone.
For my first post here I'd like to share and learn more about rooting the EONON GA2175. This Android HU currently operating with Oreo on a RK3326_mid chipset. So after an exhaustive search, there is not much information available in rooting this system. It seems that's this HU seems to be almost completely locked down. For starters, I wasn't able to even access developer mode through the build number as usual. I was finally able to get through by installing a developer access app called "Developer Options Shortcut & Device Info" on the app store.
Using one click apps like Kingo Root, Root Master or Towel Root are completely ineffective. As a matter of fact, Root Master says my "phone is too strong"
I tried connecting the unit to a laptop by using a male to male USB cable. But both my laptop of the HU do not recognize each other. Maybe some drivers may help but none are available.
I've watched you tube videos that demonstrating other people rooting similar units by accessing the safe boot option then loading TWRP on a SD card. I believe this is the only way to root these units. However, for this unit I am unable to access safe mode. I've discovered that holding the "Vol/PWR" knob for approximately 10 sec will cause it to start blinking but combinations with the "RST" button, home or quick pressing the "PWR" doesn't work. That's as far as I got.
I hope this helps anyone with the same unit but any help with my roadblock will be greatly appreciated.
Thanx!
UPDATE
So I finally managed to get to recovery mode on this device.
1. With a tooth pick, quick press the "RST" button.
2. Long press the "PWR/VOL" knob for approximately 10secs until the lights blink.
3. Then immediately quick press the "PWR/VOL"
You may need to do it more than once but it'll work.
Well.... now what TWRP version should I use?
I didn't see my HU listed.
Or should I use a different program?
did you end up getting something to work?
Mark
Not yet.
I did manage to find some unit specifics. I'll post them shortly. Maybe some coder can do something with that info. Where I run into a roadblock is that I cannot find a suitable ROM and MCU.
If this help to figure things out.

Get any further with this, wouldn't mind a custom ROM for mine although i'm pretty happy how it works now.
Actually yes!! Type "ADBON" in factory setting password to access developer options. It works. Thanks Ric69!

Expert needed to root Android Headunit with Allwinner A50 SoC

Hi Experts,
In possession of a Pioneer Headnit which consists of a amplifier and seperate tablet SDA-8TAB.
Seems to run on a Allwinner A50 Soc and on Android 9. Would like to get root access but well known Rooting Apps do not work. Somebody can help? I captured some info from the tablet and by looking in the logs which were created when you re-install the tablet:

It would be very helpful if you mentioned wich rooting apps you already tried. How would you otherwise get advice about other apps/options.

Try Magisk. It is the universal rooting method.
You do need to know though how to flash a boot image, or how to dd write a boot image.

Goedemiddag,
Yes I have read tutorials and I need TWRP with a custom file designed for my device, which I cannot find.
So Magisk is one step too far for the moment.
Any suggestion? Dank, HJ

Depending on the head unit you do not need TWRP, but I have no idea how your boot/recovery works.
Other tools are Superuser and SuperSU.

What I did just now:
1. In developer settings Android allow to boot custom image
2. Downloaded MagiskManagere to tablet and chose the option to install ZIP automatically
3. Booted in Android recovery mode by holding down the power button and volume up button
4. I expected to get booted in a different screen than the stock Android one, see attachment.
Bootloader option just shows the Android puppet....with belly open
Am I doing something wrong?
I also surfed the web and found out that it's helpfull to have the stock factory rom from the device so that later on it can be flashed with root access.
But to get the stock rom you need root, which I am actually after. Or use TWRP but hey, they don't have rom for my device.
So basically stuck. Should I give up or is there a way, or perhaps I am doing something wrong?

Most units here are Chinese units. Actually there are only 4~5 Android/MCU manufaturers. All the brands you see are resellers of the hardware of these 4~5 resellers. You have a Pioneer. It might be identical to one of those manufacturers, but maybe also a pure Pioneer in-house development. That makes that it difficult for those Chinese head unut owners to help you.
But did you try this link? : http://howtoandroitroot.com/download/pioneer-sda-8tab
(I didn't follow it through)

Note to self for good tutorial, method 2. https://www.the***********.com/install-magisk-root-android-devices/
Need Stock root image.
The website you gave doesn't asllow me anything, however it shows options for all ANdroid which is strange, This tablet just came out.
Do you have somebody in your network who could help find that stock boot image looking at my first post with ingo, or contact me how to get it myself from the device perhaps?
Willing to donate of course.
I think I have almost the same unit as you .. I've been looking everywhere for the info about rooting and any available alternative roms ... Mine is a Xomax XM 2VA 757 ... pure allwinner but now you've answered a lot of my puzzles. Thanks
We have almost identical architectures .... and I have asked my vendor if they can find me an OTA type upgrade ROM for it .. I don't hold out much hope but I am trying.

And we both live in the Netherlands !! I'm in Den Haag .. where are you ?
I just found anA50 firmware .. don't recognise the device though ...
Here ...
Heya. I have the same device. After a few weeks of research I managed to boot it into a firmware from another device (MultiLaser M7S Lite Oreo) using PhoenixCard. This means that I should be able to use IMGRePacker to extract it, then patch boot.fex with Magisk, flash that back onto the SD Card and from there on out, I should be able to backup the stock img from the internal nand, patch that and then flash it to the nand. I will keep y'all up to date with success/failures.
UPDATE 1: Boot.fex from MultiLaser Stock Firmware is patched and repacked into Firmware IMG. Flashing to SD Card right now.
UPDATE 2: Flashed SD Card with new boot.fex. Wouldn't boot. Will try flashing it with the option "Preserve force encryption" checked.
UPDATE 3: Just found out there are two bootloaders. One on the nand, and one on the SD. Obviously to boot the sd card with a patched img, I will need to unlock the bootloader. Edit: It won't boot to bl with button combo, I am assuming I will need to execute "adb reboot bootloader", so will be trying that.
UPDATE 4: The M7S ROM is booted and rooted baby!

Unfortunately I messed it up and accidentally flashed the internal boot partition with a magisk patched boot from the multilaser and now I have no way to obtain the original boot image. Though you can always check if the multilaser firmware is anywhere near stable on your device using phoenixcard. I'll see if I can find back where I got the flashfile in a bit and post here. Just make sure to use phoenixcard before actually flashing the tablet. This way you can know if it even boots and works in the first place, without risking a brick.
The download quota is exceeded. Imma find a way to download it and reupload it to Mega
i can read system if i take of emmc using ufi box but i dont want to lose guarentee,i also tried to find a boot to patch it with magisk but i didnt,i only want to root this pioneer
