As you all know, Lollipop is new and there are going to be bugs.
Please bear with us while we work on getting things updated, and all errors fixed.

please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you time, as well as us.
-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

BUILD INSTRUCTIONS
nvertigo67 said:
I have written a HOWTO build cm12 for chagallwifi. Perhaps you can have a look on it and write some kind of "HOWTO build blisspop". That should make it easier for one to jump in. Just an idea.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Make a folder and download the Android and Bliss source. (HUGE will take hours)
Code:
mkdir blissBuild
cd blissBuild
repo init -u https://github.com/TeamBliss-LP/android.git -b lp5.1
repo sync (-j4) (-j8) (-j16)- This depends on number of cpu cores- use just "repo sync" if you are unsure.
p.s. you would type "repo sync -j4" without the ( ) . I used -j16 with quad core i7 16gb ram
Next you will need to setup the device specific sources:
T700:
Code:
git clone https://github.com/eousphoros/android_device_samsung_klimtwifi.git device/samsung/klimtwifi
git clone https://github.com/eousphoros/proprietary_vendor_samsung.git vendor/samsung
git clone https://github.com/eousphoros/android_kernel_samsung_exynos5420.git kernel/samsung/klimtwifi
T800:
Code:
git clone -b current-12.1 https://github.com/nvertigo/android_device_samsung_chagallwifi.git device/samsung/chagallwifi
git clone -b current-12.1 https://github.com/nvertigo/android_vendor_samsung_chagallwifi.git vendor/samsung/chagallwifi
git clone -b current-12.1 https://github.com/nvertigo/android_kernel_samsung_chagallwifi.git kernel/samsung/chagallwifi
You will then need to make the following changes (BOTH DEVICES):
Navigate to device/samsung/<device>
Rename cm.mk --> bliss.mk
Rename cm.dependencies --> bliss.dependencies
Open bliss.mk and change all cm to bliss so it looks like this:
T700:
Code:
$(call inherit-product, device/samsung/klimtwifi/full_klimtwifi.mk)
# Inherit some common BLISS stuff.
$(call inherit-product, vendor/bliss/config/common_full_tablet_wifionly.mk)
PRODUCT_NAME := bliss_klimtwifi
PRODUCT_DEVICE := klimtwifi
PRODUCT_BUILD_PROP_OVERRIDES += \
PRODUCT_MODEL=SM-T700 \
PRODUCT_NAME=klimtwifi \
PRODUCT_DEVICE=klimtwifi \
TARGET_DEVICE=klimtwifi \
T800:
Code:
$(call inherit-product, device/samsung/chagallwifi/full_chagallwifi.mk)
# Inherit some common bliss stuff.
$(call inherit-product, vendor/bliss/config/common_full_tablet_wifionly.mk)
PRODUCT_NAME := bliss_chagallwifi
PRODUCT_DEVICE := chagallwifi
PRODUCT_BUILD_PROP_OVERRIDES += \
PRODUCT_MODEL=SM-T800 \
PRODUCT_NAME=chagallwifi \
PRODUCT_DEVICE=chagallwifi \
TARGET_DEVICE=chagallwifi \
edit the bliss.dependencies file to match this (BOTH DEVICES):
Code:
[
{
"remote": "cm",
"repository": "android_hardware_samsung_slsi_exynos",
"target_path": "hardware/samsung_slsi/exynos",
"revision": "cm-12.1"
},
{
"remote": "cm",
"repository": "android_hardware_samsung_slsi_exynos5-insignal",
"target_path": "hardware/samsung_slsi/exynos5-insignal",
"revision": "cm-12.1"
},
{
"remote": "cm",
"repository": "android_hardware_samsung_slsi_exynos5420",
"target_path": "hardware/samsung_slsi/exynos5420",
"revision": "cm-12.1"
},
{
"remote": "cm",
"repository": "android_hardware_samsung_slsi_openmax",
"target_path": "hardware/samsung_slsi/openmax",

},
{
"remote": "cm",
"repository": "android_hardware_samsung",
"target_path": "hardware/samsung",
"revision": "cm-12.1"
}
]
apply the patch if on T800:
Code:
patch -p1 <device/samsung/chagallwifi/patches/OMX-google-ffmpeg.diff
patch -p1 <device/samsung/chagallwifi/patches/mv2sd-framworks-base.diff
then build for your device
Code:
. build/envsetup.sh && brunch klimtwifi
or
Code:
. build/envsetup.sh && brunch chagallwifi
**note - if you are not familiar with the command line, TAB autocompletes what you have typed. so you can type "ou" then it tab and it will add "t/" to complete it. as such, when you get to the filename above., you can just type "B" and hit tab and it will add the rest.
your builds live in that directory /out/target/product/<device>/...
enjoy.

Thanks. I will install this one

Enjoy!

Bliss Pop for the tab s!!!!!! Life is complete!!!! Thanks guys, I'll give this a try right away!
Overly ecstatic...

This is GREAT stuff jewnersey! :fingers-crossed:
Hopefully someday will be able to get the black menus, and Kodi/Xbmc working and then will have the closest thing to perfection ... the holy graal of custom roms world! :cyclops:
P.S. I've run out of "thanks" daily stock. I'll save one or you later.

Great ROM. Few issues though which is understandable.
Firstly, there is like a graphical glitch in the recents menu, not a big deal.
Secondly, I can't download any apks as I think the package installer isn't working.
Thirdly, Google voice commands aren't working in search or play store or anywhere.
I'm not complaining, merely pointing out the bugs and if I can be of any assistance in fixing the bugs, it'd be my pleasure.
Thank you for this wondrous ROM

Just installed. First issues:
- recent button not working, even with additional zip
- video flashing. Have disable hw in dev settings
- text in contacts are white as well as the background. So text unreadable
- GPS working
Congrats. Good start!

Hmm. To fix recents and get vibration you will have to manually edit the file
System > usr > keylayout > generic
key 158 BACK VIRTUAL
key 254 APP_SWITCH VIRTUAL
Just add virtual to the back key
And add the whole line for the recents key
reboot, enjoy

I side loaded tons of apps so I'm not sure why that is happening to you.. Which device are you on?
I've also noticed the glitching, happens during rotation too sometimes
Thanks for letting me know about voice commands, seems that the microphone isn't working at all.
.... I'll see what I can fix tomorrow..

In using a 16gb t700 with a clean flash. I'll reboot and try when I'm home. If not, I'll reflash the ROM as I'm currently out of a keyboard I uninstalled the aosp one as I had a apk of Google keyboard mod

Wasn't I the first one to get this to flash? As I mentioned in your other blissrom thread?

Same as me, maybe try to move apk to internal storage before trying to flash to rule out any sdcard issues that have been floating around.

might boot, but you'll lose calling, etc. I am resyncing and making updated builds, may as well hold off for a few hours if you can

Can someone let me know if they get this to flash to T705 as CM12 fails to flash on T705 and flashes fine on T700

BlissPop v1.5 for T800
-synced and rebuilt
-buttons should work out of the box [false, they actually dont, Generic.kl does not like to be copied during build]

Did the T700 still have button issue? I flashed the button fixed in the OP and doesn't work. Overall, I am glad to see the bliss Rom coming to tab s since I have the bliss Rom loaded on my one plus and Galaxy s5. both are rock solid...thanks OP

Known Bugs:
WORK AROUND FIXES:
- Wifi Issues: enable root access and edit the field "ccode" in both /system/etc/wifi/nvram_net.txt_4354_a0 and /system/etc/wifi/nvram_net.txt_4354_a1 to the country code your wlan router is operating in.
- Enable/Disable Softkeys Among Other Options: Soft/Hard KeysKnown Bugs:
1: You just may not see the boot screen, And some time you will. Not a real big deal..
2: I have been informed that the vibration intensity along with a few other custom settings will crash
3: Initial start could take longer then your used too
4: Some people have informed me that their SD Chip is not getting recognized, FLASH SuperSu to fix that problem
5: settings has a nasty bug, so far under 2 options ( Vibration Intensity and change keyboard ) <-- I am working on a solution to the problem.
New Build Works Except For:
1:Vibrator Intensity
2:Keyboard Switcher
Just a Reminder, This Rom was never intended for a tablet. It was almost always built for phones,

Hey. Great work. Smooth. Stable. Haven't found any bugs so far
Thanks downloading now:good:::good:

Bugs:I will not post anything without first testing it my self. Must understand that this rom was really never intended for a tabet.
There will be some bugs if not more then some. But as time goes on, ill try and work out as many as I can. As I said, I am new to building roms.
I just like this rom alot and since there wasnt one done for the (T800) I though I would give it a try. Turns out, That it worked.. With a few modifications.
1: First boot after flash Can take long
2: Boot Animation screen doesnt show up ( At least it didnt for me ) Use a program to add a boot screen if you must.
3: The initial setup Connection can take a long time. Might have to hit back and skip and back again. (Might just be my network)
4: Soft keys, I need to figure out a patch or something that will let me turn them off or on. (Might already be one there)

Does google play movies work? On other cm builds I tried for this device a while ago play movies didnt work and what about sd cards any issues there if not I well use this as well.
Great ROM! The one I always wanted! SD card works fine, and the initial setup connection was fast for me. Some features crash in settings such as vibration intensity. But really good so far!

To answer your questions, I have played Hulu and Netflix and watched regular downloaded movies and Had no problems. My Hardware Accelerator is NOT TURNED OFF.
Now SD chip question, My Tablet has a 128gb SD Chip. I had no problems up to running Blisspop for a few days. Then it stopped showing up. This isnt BlissPop. I havent had any problems with this ROM in that market that
your asking about. This is my Daily Driver Rom on my LG G3 T-Mobile.. Its updated pretty much everyday. (Dont expect me to build everyday). They are also the first to use WakeLock Blocker, But my sources could be wrong on that. Anyhow. Give it a try and see if it works out for you.. As long as you have a nandroid backup your ok.
Thanks for being a developer for this Rom so that both of my device run the same rom.
Runs great for my use on my One Plus One & the Sm-T800.
Just installed this on my T800 tab and I can't see my SD card.

If anyone else is having this issue please post it along with how you flashed it, Clean,Dirty did you wipe dalvik and cache.
I for one havent had that issue yet. I try and make it a point to flash my roms before I release them, but sometimes I dont get the time to do it right then.
Anytime I install an udate, I always wipe Dalvik and Cache then I nandroid backup. Then I install the update, then the gapps then supersu and whatever other mods I might have laying around.
Anytime I install a new rom, I aways wipe everything after my nandroid backup.
Kinda hard for me to pin point your sd problem till I know what steps you took on flashing it. because my sd card works. and I have a 128gb card. Which can be a problem if not done right.

Hi, Yes I did a dirty flash for the new update install.
Edit There was one thing that I didn't do that I normally do which is flash supersu while in recovery, so I have now flashed supersu and I can now see my sd card.

Read the OP of my rom and the commit messages from my repos, if using my source (you are welcome to use it, as you know - but propably you should mention that in OP, 'cause someone with the sd issue could have answered this earlier, if one would have known... ).
I use module support in my kernel. Some filesystems are modules. Thesemare loaded automatically by an init.d script. Executing scripts from init.d is not longer wanted from aosp/cm devs. I reemabled it quite brute force by patching the already running sepolicy - that only works with @Chainfires SuperSU but not with build in superuser.
Who wants to only use an opensource SuperSU (what I totally understand) can manually execute the modulloading and systemtuning - for details see OP of my cm12 builds.
EDIT: I consider having a modularized kernel and init.d support for scripts not an issue.

Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of RRO Themes

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is RRO?
RRO (Runtime Resource Overlay) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,RRO is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!
Features
AOSP
Layers 4.2 (U don't find this in all the ROMs)
Clear all recents
Advanced reboot
Ambient display
Optimizations for battery
Some framework commits
More will come soon.

Download
Gapps
Features
Working:

Another Dimond from Sahan sir.
Hi, here is another class acf from mr. sahan. Zephyr! It is with osm support. The latest talk of layers town substratum. Rom is super fast. Working on all basic needs. Sot is purely individual use. If you want more sot use accordingly. You can check the screen shots. Thanks for keeping cancro flag high......

Thank U for the update Mr. Shahan...so glad finally this rom support substratum
Is anybody facing google contact sync issue? I used the same Gapps package (pico) and my contacts aren't synced. Settings>Account>Google doesn't have Contacts inside. Not sure if i messed up anything. I'll clean flash once again if you guys haven't met this issue.
Edit: Clean flashed once again and Contacts can't be synced through Google. I used the exact same package on exodus and contacts synced fine. Screenshot attached.

Open Gapps 0723 pico. Working with RR, DU & Exodus. But not this. I switched from BaNkS to Open Gapps since I get random reboots while updating apps in Play Store sometimes.
Is BaNkS Gapps fine? I would switch to it if it's working for you (Contact Sync) since this ROM has all the feature I want while not being too bloated.
reboot once and check Settings>Account>Google.. i always had the same problem in beanstalk.. after reboot contacts used to sync

Syncs OK for me. Everything else works great. Substratum is amazing. Installed Spectrum theme with Star wars sound. Just great.
Thanks dev.

Yes with BaNkS Gapps everything is fine.
Can anyone tell me why doesn't Substratum detect the theme installed? I even restarted and installed busybox then rebooted again. Still, it's not getting detected. Storage permission is granted to Substratum. Root is granted to Substratum and the other app which seems like a package with it.

Wait for themes to update to latest version of substratum.
To start things off:
SuperSU is included in the ROM. Contacts aren't synced with OpenGapps (the exact same Gapps package worked well with Exodus), so make sure to use BaNkS on this ROM. I also use Xposed (which works well on this ROM) but no module like Gravity Box that might affect the stability. My modules: Youtube AdAway & Screenshot Delay Remover.
Boot Screen:
Screenshots attached at the very bottom. I'm not a fan of it the lightning animation.
Misc.:
Sensors, audio, camera, etc. all work fine.
Customisation:
This ROM is quite customizable, including my favourite single-tap hardware buttons to be switched to Screenshot. But it isn't well implemented like DU. I use an Xposed mod called Screenshot Delay Remover which changes the screenshot delay from default (around 1 second) to 0s. On DU, both single-tap hardware button and Power+Volume Down take 0s to initiate a screenshot. However on ZephyrOS, I notice a lot of delay initiating a screenshot using single-tap hardware button (around 1sec) but Power+Volume Down takes only 0s. That is my only complain which probably most people don't care about.
Battery:
The best. CM kernel always has the best battery here in cancro. So if you're using other ROMs with CM kernel, you may expect the same battery life here. Screenshots attached with CPU frequencies.
Bugs:
1) If you go into the "Performance" tab in Settings, Settings app force closes.
2) The Quick Setting tiles are quite fked up when you try to move the tiles around. It is a "hidden feature" in this ROM, which means it's not in the Settings app. You'll have to press and hold the Settings button after pulling down the quick settings. A screenshot is also attached.
3) Of course, with CM kernel, you can expect the super awesome Bluetooth audio bug which has existed for around 6 months I believe. In short, Bluetooth audio doesn't work. @audahadi has already fixed it in AICP according to users.
4) While playing a YouTube video in Landscape mode, I'm not able to pull down the status bar to check for time nor am I able to see the Volume Bar when I'm adjusting volume. After around 1 minute of video-playing, the video lags just like when you're using a potato computer to run Battlefield. And after a few more seconds, SystemUI crashes. There is no force close message but with my experience using CM Theme Engine, I know very well how restarting SystemUI looks like. After SystemUI restarts and unlocking your device, YouTube closes. Not sure if it's caused by early Substratum development bug or what. I'm using the latest Spectrum theme. The substratum app is also up to date. And I'm too lazy to test without any theme applied.
Theme Engine:
This ROM includes Substratum which is something that took over Layers. It is still in its early stage (launched around a month ago I believe) so it might be buggy. Too troublesome to use for me. I still prefer CMTE.
Conclusion:
TL;DR: Quite buggy, overall experience was good. Remember to use BaNkS Gapps. Thanks Shahan for the ROM!

READ MORE

Android Device
Instructions:
Code:
Install your device driver for using adb. Everything you need will you find here
Download adb executable for your OS (Download: Windows | Linux | Mac). Paste it somewhere.

Open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (linux / mac). How to do it: On Windows: windows + r > enter "cmd" (without quotes) > click enter | On Linux: You don't know how to open a terminal? LOL | On Mac: Type Terminal into Spotlight and open it
CD to the directory where the adb executable is located. On Windows: Go to the directory where you downloaded the adb executable, Shift+Right Click and select "Open Console" (or similar) | On Linux / Mac: Rightclick in the directory and select "Open Terminal here" (or simply CD into the directory)
Type in your cmd/terminal: adb devices to verify your device is properly connected.
