If you have some suggestion to fix bugs, please tell us.
MI3 Device tree: https://github.com/CancroCM/android_device_xiaomi_cancro
MI3 vendor tree: https://github.com/CancroCM/proprietary_vendor_xiaomi
Soon will make a repo with the boot.img files.
If, after compile CM12, you have System UI FCs (Because "could not open keymaster device in keystore (Operation not permitted)"), overwrite manually in your vendor folder this keymaster files: Link . Or you also can overwrite in your phone with adb.

Great work.. Love your attitude bro of working together to make a bugfree ROM. I know English is not your first language, but your English is very good and we all will try to be as helpful as we can in posting bugs.

probando
Let's proof

I'm going to install it now, will give my feelings later

Installed and see if we give the solution to the bugs.

Downloding now...will tell which bugs are there

Few bugs i found apart from the know one are:
1. Battery drain problem
2. Not a bug actually but can be fixed is that the rom is not prerooted you have to flash the supersu from cwm.
3. Automatic brightness doesn't work.
4. Sound increases automatically when listening in headphones. Dnt know if its audiofx problem.
Will let you know more bugs as i find it in use.
Awesome build considering it as the first build. Amazing smoothness and i am already in love with it.. Keep up the good work bro and cheers to mi3 community.

Battery performance is still good for me. I've been a few hours with the rom and much better than L Ivan.
If it is true that for root must first flash SuperSU. It would have to add the first message.
Automatic brightness not working properly.

found some bug
Well, playing with this ROM and found some bug :
1. USB otg didn't work
2. Systemui sometimes close at boot
3. Capacitive button wake the device
4. Proximity didn't lock the screen when make a call, it only turn off the screen
Trying to play with root, changing some parameter in CPU governor, and I see that the CPU governor. Well, the touch working well ( trying to touch the screen andthe capacitive button, it work. I'd didn't work in aosp)
Will try to play more tomorrow...

Hopping for no random reboot...

I update the post with some of those bugs. Thank you.
-Sound increases automatically when listening in headphones. Dnt know if its audiofx problem.
I listen 5 video songs on youtube (from browser) with headphones and all is OK. How can I replicate that error?

One doubt here. Does the phone wake on capacitive buttons even when disabled ?

I am uploading an update. You will have options to customise capacitive buttons.

Does anyone else have problems with reboots?
Reboots take 10 minutes or more every time, and sometimes there's no System UI after a reboot....
Everything else i can live with... Though a Camera and BT fix would be welcome.

Guys is there any random reboots like in CM11 in this ROM
Sent from my MI 3W
Any random reboots?
Hi, i want to try this ROM, does it have the random reboots like in CM11?
Looking forward on your reply! thank you in advance.
guys, all the aosp roms around here are based on cm11, that has random reboots. so all the aosp roms around here, of course have reboots. a few, a lot, but all have them until cm code is fixed. so please stop asking!
No random reboots so far for me in last 8 hrs..you need to do a clean install..use the gapps provided.try it by yourself because this ROM is really great...

I always do completely clean installs. and always use gapps 100% safe (minimal by banks, always used them with any custom roms with many different phones, with no problems at all).
and reboots sooner or later always appeared. a few, but they are present. please report update us with feedbacks in a longer time range (3-4 days) rather than a few hours. btw I will try this as well, and also CM of 18th of august that someone says is reboot proof (but in the past I am pretty sure I tested it and had reboots..)
how do you test if reboots appear in your phone? I mean, sometimes it is pretty difficult to notice that (if the reboots happen, as often in my case, when the phone is sleeping, when later you wake the phone up you don't notice it rebooted unless you have pin security or some monitoring apps!)
also, do you call often? no reboots during calls?
in my case, most of the reboots with aosp roms in mi3 happened during calls or when the phone was sleeping..
bye!
I will test longer period and let you know..I am confident that phone doesn't reboot when I sleep ...I can't prove that...starting morning till night 12.30 I use the phone a lot..today one thing I did different is I didn't put my phone in my pant pocket at all..I too had reboots during calls when I used cm11,mokee,carbon ROMs..but not in aicp and liquid smooth .I am an above average phone caller and receiver..anyways I will check for more time and let you know

thanks for the info my friend!
well, it would surprise me as they share same base, but if you are right and there are no reboots, that would be great!
btw I have just finished dowloading liquidsmooth, so I will try it very soon, thanks again
so far smooth .. best rom so far . and no recent app ? i cant close running app on the background because menu button not functioning ..
lot of roms for mi3 cool thank you developers

you must enable key actions in settings.
go to settings > navigation > HW buttons > enable custom actions
then you can assign the menu key the recents app
ps. trying it now, will report!
EDIT: wow! this and carbon are the only roms so far that have all the features I like (execpt for multiwindow). If this really doesn't reboot, it would be wonderful! will keep testing it and see if reboots appear or not!

You can add a custom action in notification toggle for recent apps..go to settings-Notification-Notification drawer-titles and layouts..
just had a reboot while in lockscreen ;(
so as expected, all aosp roms suffer the reboot problem, at least in my phone..
clean install, banks minimal gapps, restored my apps with app2zip....
now I could try without all my apps so it would be a real clean install, but then it would be difficult to deeply test the phone......
EDIT: just another reboot... just under my eyes when I was looking the phone! I guess I can just stay with miui until this is fixed in cm btw going to try cm11 of 18th of august now to see if it is really reboot free....
another problem: the volume panel is bugged.. no matter what I choose (expanded, expandable etc) most of the times I just see a single line with a single volume slider

Like i said no reboots so far:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:Try PA gaaps..Also dont restore your apps using any app..try to take back up of all required apps in ES file explorer..i know we need to test the rom in all possible ways but need to hold on until we find a fix.do you also wipe system 2 just in case for a clean install..i could not understand your point about volume panel..i will continue to test and report..

This ROM was created by none other than the great Martin Coulon (@martinusbe). This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to update. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happily intoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Great work @aniket.lamba
Flashed, for now, all works good .. more after some using
here is some ss :good:
About Navigation bar?
Hey those who have flashed this ROM, can you please tell me if the on screen navigation keys work and also can we disable the hardware capacitive keys?
I have seen that there is a toggle in the settings to turn the capacitive keys off but I want to ask if it works or not?
Thanks in advance.
Fantastic ROM, thanks a ton @aniket.lamba
Smooth and buttery... has all the necessary features I look for in a ROM. All my apps are working as it should after restoring using Titanium Backup...
The Security settings has some omissions and some quirks (not calling it bug because we can still live with it - particularly when you are tipsy )
1. One omission (at least for me), I always hide my password but the option is missing in the Security setting. Is it possible to enable it in any other way?
2. 'Quick unlock' option (again in Security setting) automatically disables even if you enable it once you come out of the settings (although the feature still continue to work even after it disables automatically).
3. The 'Automatically lock' value changes to after sleep even if you change it to a number (once you come out of the settings).
Till now only made one call. No SOD in that. I disabled Ambient display from Display Setting though. Will update about further on SOD after few calls/days.

It's working.
It worked automatically after sometime, I didn't touch any settings.
BTW thanks for providing varieties of roms. This rom is also nice, smooth, fluid and almost stable.
there is audio distortion in this rom..also in mokee....ANY SOLUTION GUYZ
If I changed DPI to other values other than 400, I can't install apps, eg Ampere.
Sometimes cannot detect SIM, need to turn on airplane mode, reboot to recover from this.
Have not test Google Map compass, Sygic navigation (Omni has issue), audio playback and on receiving calls screen off and when move away from ear whether screen can be turned on or not. Hopefully no SOD.
Thanks for bringing slim 5.1.1 to Mi3/4, I'm on Mi 4.
Edit 1:
1. Seems like there's gps issue with ROM. Even with compass zip flashed, although compass works in Google Maps, gps doesn't work. Tested on Sygic and Gps test Apps.
Update - Tipsy OS V1.3

Thanx for the fix.
I have been using the ROM from yesterday ,till now no SOD . but once i got "No sim bug" after restarting(got it fixed after restarted phone again )
ROM looks so smooth ,performance is amazing .
Home hardware button was not working ,I had to manually copy the keyboard layout files from old tipsy build "atmmel-maxtouch.kl","gpio-keys.kl" & "synaptics_rmi4_i2c.kl" to fix the issue .
finally I am adding this ROM in the fav List
I think the same , and GPS no work on this amazing ROM !

Smooth ROM
The ROM is really smooth and I really like the built-in Kernel Tweaker! Awesom ROM! Stock cam doesn't work. Haven't tried other cams

Wow update so quickly to android 6.0.1! Nice rom!
Enviado desde mi MI 3W mediante Tapatalk
Installed it some while back.
As in usual CM kernels, also in this. Despite setting max CPU frequency, the CPU goes above it.
Also I was facing some little slutters (I did set animations at 1x)
Zeurian X 2.0 final test build works
Embedded battery percentage under System Tuner doesn't work.
Access Points give FC.
I applied a layers theme, can see the installed layers under uninstall of Layers Manager, but it didn't get applied dunno why.
And as far my past Lollipop experience goes with applying Layers theme, layers manager never worked properly for me but using an other or older (not sure) manager worked. Haven't tried in this one.
Xposed, Now On Tap, etc stuff except Camera did work fine.
PS it has inbuilt root
Hope to see working camera! work witch other camera apps?
It's fast real fast. Seems slow at charging maybe that'll improve in a couple cycles. Where is this inbuilt root at? Programs are saying it doesn't have root and I can't find any options to turn it on

Mine sticks. Here is a pic after running antutu 6.0
Edit: settings reverted to stock after reboot. I see what you mean now I guess I've never noticed as I never reboot or run out of battery.

I also have the issues of access points gives fc, layers install but don't apply.

Well I already had SuperSU ZIP installed and I saw Root option under Developer Settings (not sure if the ZIP affected it, but it shouldn't be the case).
Well the max frequency remains stick (not like in Ivan etc ROM that the max frequency used to get reset automatically). But almost all CM kernel don't follow the max frequency. The CPU runs at higher ones despite setting it (I can see the cores live frequency, didn't care to see the CPU state)
Omni is best 6.0 ROM without camera available (haven't tried some 3rd party apps) IMO

Yeah I watched the live cores and they didn't cross the max frequency but like I said once I rebooted it went back to full. WiFi seems to not turn off and burn a lot of battery if you don't manually toggle it when leaving WiFi area I noticed so choosing to have it on only when plugged in or turning it to never on during sleep doesn't work unless it was because my slacker was playing but screen was off so maybe that's what kept it on. On lollipop it usually burned about 2% to 3% while I was at work and marshmallow burns about 15% in the same amount of time. This might just be due to better reporting statistics however as my android os is at 1% compared to lollipop which was usually around 18% to 20% by now. Overall I got about 2% better battery life today during my 5 hour shift than usual so no huge improvement as far as battery life at work I'll just have to see what standby gives me this weekend as I haven't gotten to see the standby at all yet which is where I feel lollipop really dropped the ball compared to KitKat.

Keep these is mind before you flash
When you post a bug or mention an issue, it is assumed that you are running no additional mods that could cause that bug/issue. If you have made any additional changes, you need to mention that when you mention the bug/issue, else it confuses all users and I waste time looking to a bug that doesn't even exist.
If you get encryption error, you need to FORMAT your partitions before you flash the rom. Needless to say, you will lose all your data in the internal storage when you format. Don't forget to backup important data before format.
Its better to have the latest firmware installed for better compatibility.
Installation procedure

Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. The following is a useful format to follow.

Awesome man..... Really good
Great rom
Bugs I've encountered till now-
#Unlocking the screen immediately after locking it causes it to black out. You'd have to lock it again and unlock it after a few seconds.
#some apps freeze on startup. I think it'd be more accurate to say that they don't even start up. I had to reboot my phone to launch the play store, Instagram.
#screen stops responding randomly, although it happens seldom.
Other than these, it's a sick rom. Awesome animations.
Achieved 58 mins SOT with just 8% battery.

-›The lockscreen bug is real. I thought only I encountered it... But then realised others are getting it too.
-›Didnt face any other problems with the rom, no FCs, everything is great. Battery is good too. Screen getting problems thought as mentioned above.. Sudden unresponsive tendency of the screen...
-›Camera stopped woorking all of a sudden. The FC's the also annoying. These bugs have made the rom unusable so I would advice you guys not to switch until the bugs are fixed by the developer @abhirajsinghofficial....
A request to the developer - Please fix all the issues asap. It makes the rom quite unsuable even though it's a great rom. So please fix it as soon as possible (maybe by tomorrow, any day possible)
Edit :- Going back to Lineage for now, will be back when all the issues are fixed.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Thank you
Installing this new rom.
so I'm using this Rom for 8 days. clean install (only internal data not erased).
my review so far:
it isn't the fastest and smoothest rom I've ever used, but I has a satisfying performance so far and it's definitely faster and smoother then syberia!!!
+no major problems at all (no crackling as with syberia, wifi stable)
+performance quite good
+no overheating (even while restore and charging) max. 39°C, can't tell you bout heavy gaming though
+battery last for about 24h a charge, 0,7% per h while display off, deep sleep about 95%, had to turn off a couple off background permissions though
- issues I found:
- no automatic connection with paired BT devices (needs an extra tap)
-settings/design: only minimal settings possibilities, aospxposed and syberia have very nice extra colors and extra substratum conflict settings; system wide dark theme works, but notifications are still black on white background (fix please), substratum turns notifications in orange background
-alarm clock rings but doesn't turn on screen (edit)
-had 2 strange reboots the first day, sometimes strange freezes while starting apps
all in all I am very happy about RR pie!!! syberia has a great power management ( up to 33h per charge) but is slower in performance.
thank you very much!! I'll stick to it and hope for regular updates!!!???????
I'm using this exelent Rom.. untill now all is good! But i have a problem.. i can't use HBO GO app because according this app my phone is rooted... But i don't have my phone rooted... So what can i do? It's happening me the same when i was using Pixel Experience...

I installed magisk and use magisk hide unsupported root apps. You must hide app and hide magisk manager.
I'm using this ROM for about 10 days now and I am really happy with the perfomance. everything runs stable and smooth here.
Before I was on the Syberia project but unfortunately during the last updates that ROM has not become better.
There is only 1 negative point to mention for me - since the change to RR, I can not connect to my Fitbit watch anymore. Synchronisation does not work at all . There is a connection and I can see the watch in the Android app but it fails to synchronize and I am not able to use the settings of the different installed apps on the watch.
This means I can also not get msg from WhatsApp or email client on my watch. I have already reset the watch, reinstalled apps, and other things but it won't work.
This was working really well before with the Syberia ROM and it works also fine on my OPO device with the latest Tuga Power Pie ROM.
There is something different with the bluetooth in the RR ROM, but I don't know what or how to get the synchronization to work again.
Really appreciate, if someone would know any solution for my problem here.
Other then that, thanks for your help and thanks for the developer for this awsome ROM.
OMG! is this rom developing again? it's cool!
tried this rom from 1 day ago,so far looking good
but i noticed that when second showed on clock and bit rate show on internet, both will overlap each other..
i heard from another thread that it is possible to update firmware?with https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/#stable? does it work if i update firmware with the one from this?

Yes it does work. You can either download the stable version or a weekly one and just flash it with TWRP.
Usually, I flash the modem update before I flash an update of the ROM. It means, in the TWRP I set the sequence like
1. modem zip
2. ROM zip
3. GAPPS zip
4. Magisk
Flash all the zip in one shot and after delete Dalvic and Cache and let the ROM boot.
Usually, this is working always fine for the updates ( dirty flash with only wipe dalvic, cache and system before)

@ theOriginalSuperl2
I was already using your ROM with Android Nougat. It was really working well and I'm happy to see the RR on Pie as well.
My question is about taking screenshots - in the Nougat version, after I took a screenshot, it was going right away into editing option. When I take a screenshot now in the Pie version, I have to choose manually to edit the screenshot and mostly it is not really working.
Would it be possible to get it same again like in the Nougat version?
Or could you tell me, what programm you used at that time to edit the screenshot, so i can try to install myself.
thanks for the great work
Mark
