well last month i moved from inu NK1 to pak NK2 my phone is working absolutely fine.
but yesterday i tried moving back to nk1 as nearly all the devs are working on nk1 well i was able to intall it but the wifi stopped working(wont turn on) flashed dead kernel v2.0 and mobile got stuck at samsung logo(1 that appears at the very start)(1 where sm g7102 is written)
and now i do have nk1 base but stock rom wont boot so i am using cm11.
i other words u can flash nk2 but it does have its problems.
oh n i if u find it solution do share plzzz.

Try This
Try this guide to downgrade back to nk1 your wifi problems will get solved this is fully tested i myself have used it to downgrade back to nk1 inu from egypt nk2 it will not trip knox & its true nk2 versions of some countries dont have knox in it i have tried nk2 egypt on my phone myself & then rooted by installing philz kitkat recovery
This guide is provided by dr.moh1976 in one of his threads
i tried it my self everything working ok afterdowngrade
1- swithoff your galaxy grand 2
2- power on to download mode( volumedown+download+power)
3- open Odin choose NH6 tar file.
4-(most important) unmark auto Reboot, mark F. Reset time & Nand Erase All & phone bootloader update & phone EFS clear. see attached image
5-connect your grand 2 to your pc it will be shown in odin like com?
6-start odin to flash NH6 to your grand 2
7-when odin finish don't reboot just remove battery for 20 sec.
8- re-insert battery and power on in recovery mode( volume up+home+power)
9-leave it do its work till samsung logo appears on screen remove battery again.
10- re-insert battery power on to recovery mode.
11 - in recovery do factory restore twice then reboot.
congratulations.

What is the error that appears in ODIN? Attach one screenshot if is possible :highfive:
I have a similar question,
I have an S4 with OmegaRom, Knox has been tripped and I want to update and wipe clean to sell.
Do I need to flash the same rom that the Omega one was based upon? (I.E XXUFNC9) Or will any stock 4.4.2 rom work? As I'd like the use the latest BTU one, which is only XXUFNB8
Once I've flashed stock, I undersrtand the KNOX apps won't work again, but will the device still be updatable through OTA and KIES?
Thanks!

1. You can't sell it "CLEAN" coz u tripped KNOX. This can't be reset.
2. You can flash the Stock Rom u want, always being android 4.4.2. I have KNOX: 0x1 and i use latest XXUFNB8 without any problem
3. Yes.

[Q] Cant downgrade to original kitkat firmware from Lollipop

Hi folks, I have recently updated my Note 3 SM-N9005 from Kitkat 4.4.2 to Lollipop using the BL, CSC, CP AND PIT Files. But I didnt like Lollipop, lots of bug like no NFC, alarm doesnt work with flip cover, gps issue, etc.. So flasked original firmware (O2 Germany) with odin 9 but no luck. After successful installation my Note 3 just stuck at Galaxy Note 3 screen. Even tried factory reset, wipe data not still stuck at the welcome screen. Is there a way to install kitkat original firmware?
You updated the bootloader so no. Just reflash the beta and wait for official update. Or you can try CM11
revert from android 5.0 to 4.4.2
Download this rom with 5 files with pit file and flash with odin, and do a wipe/factory reset before and after, then u can flash latest rom for your phone from sammobile.

Yes, I did that. Your UK firmware (UFNF4) and O2 Germany could install successfully but Note 3 wont boot. However,DBT firware couldnt install, odin gave error is initially installation process. Eventually I had to install leaked lollipop

I think the .pit file for Lollipop makes the system partition smaller, so it's only normal that no KitKat can boot, as to why after flashing a KitKat .pit you can't boot up, I don't know. You could have booted up Lollipop without the .pit for it, you know, I didn't, and I can revert to a KitKat backup anytime without any issues.
But yeah, you might have to stay on Lollipop for a couple more weeks until we get an official update.

Hi, is your issue resolved?
I'd like to tell that I have successfully rolled back to 4.4.2 GNG1 BTU ROM from the Leaked 5.0 ROM.
I had luckily backed up my original PIT file from 4.4.2 ROM before upgrade to Lollipop leak. As there were many bugs with the leak, i decided to restore a Nandroid backup of kitkat. But it failed miserably as all the apps started crashing. So I did a fresh flashing of 4.4.2 GNG1 BTU rom with my Backup PIT file. And now everything is working fine for me.
I have 32GB N9005 model. Let me know if you need the PIT file for the same.
It would be great if you can share the pit file with me. I desperately need to go back to 4.4.2. I too have 32 GB SM-N9005 model from O2 Germany
worked successfully for me
I had same issue when I was downgrading to 4.4.2 , but it worked for me :
1- install leaked Lollipop via pc odin ( no need pit file)
2- boot your phone up and if you see welcome screen it means you still are cool
3- download nad install 4.4.2 GNG1 via pc odin, and dont let it to boot up
4- go to stock recovery mode and wipe your phone
5- reboot your phone and hopefully you will be fine

On my first link i give you, u have the pit file for 4.4.2 and all the files u need to revert to 4.4.2, all u have to do is to download that rar and ur problem is solved.
So guys, I now able to downgrade to 4.4.2. As you have guys suggested, I used pit file sokar_goauld (32GB N9005) and used GNG1 BTU ROM, the way RedApple has suggested. Now everything is back to 4.4.2 though not the German O2 firmware.
Thank you guys!
I have one more question, can I now flash O2 Germany firmware on this GNG1 BTU ROM without any pit file? Seems like O2 Germany bootloader/firmware is an older version, so not sure if further downgrading to original O2 Germany firmware is possible without any issues?
Have a nice weekend.

That's good!
Now I'm eagerly waiting for the Official Lollipop
Thanks you Guys
I did as ssn1978 did with the suggested files from RedApple and sokar_goauld and i just wanted to say.....
Thank you guys, God bless you
I started losing hope going back to kitkat or even reviving my Note 3 back...
And now it's alive thanks to you
But i'm facing a problem now, i can't go back to my NF4 BTU, the same old problem happened again :S do i have to stuck with NG1 ? :S

Take a 4.4.2 package unpack it and remove bootloaders, then repack and test.
You can opposedly to SGY firmwares (s5360) open S4 firmwares with Winrar / 7-Zip.

User who say that are user who don't even care about their country code nor their CSC
If your CSC is XEF then you have to flash a non-knox 4.4.2 XEF ROM, if wifi/IMEI is null it's most likely a MODEM mismatch.
Just reflash the modem by using Odin3's CP section :good:
EDIT :
Or you may just try Mobile Odin Pro, for a buck it downgrades the phone a simple way.

I first rooted and installed SUPERSU on my device with lollipop 5.0.1 to get x mode games. Since xmodgames doesn't support lollipop currently I decided to downgrade my Samsung GT-I9500 from lollipop 5.0.1 to Kit Kat via ODIN after doing a complete wipe via philz_touch_6.12.8-i9500.tar but after the install My mobile had null imei. I was able to successfully root the device and install SUPERSU and Xmodgames also worked fine but without any mobile network due to NULL Imei.
I tried all forums some had software to remove the null state and some had service code etc, but nothing worked and a techie told me that this can now be restored only through some box available only with professionals and asked me a very high fee almost 30% cost of the device.
I finally figured it out and restored my phone back to lollipop 5.0.1 after doing a wipe by PHILZ (without root selected) and my phone was back to its original state.
Hope this helps.

Root problem

Here is alot reports of cf-autoroot and cwm/twrp rooting methods doesn't work in SM-N910F. Does anyone know what is going on? I believe new software update is problem(not 5.0.1).
They work fine. Have done for me at least.
i tried to root my stock n910f with kitkat.
apparently the cf-autoroot was for 5.01 lollipop, result.. a soft brick (it could be my usb cable to tough becouse it was broken and sometimes it disconnects the phone)
so after that i got a new cable and flashed the stock lollipop rom from sammobile.
now im running lollipop and i think i am goin to try root it today
if you look at chainfires page, the cf-autoroot file is for 5.01

When I was in kitkat I did not check the bootloader version and flashed older version which tripped the knox counter. That was why I I asked you to check the bootloader .
If you flashed the correct firmware via odin, believe that the firmware download has no problem, and flashing odin did not give any errors and yet you still have some problem, then your problem likely to be a hardware failure rather than software.
check the checksum of the downloaded firmware, flashing from different usb port or different computer, flashing with different version of odin, etc.. are the tries you can do.

Could you tell me your bootloader version of your phone and also give me the link of the lollipop firmware that you downloaded from the sammobile.
if it is possible could you tell me what message you have when you flash that lollipop firmware via odin.
If your phone is on lollipop, flashing kit-kat or jelly beam wont help and it could harm your phone.
