[Q] ROMS for the SM-G900H - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Are there any ROMs for the SM-G900H? Also, what is the board name for this device? ex: Shamu for the Nexus 6? Should I use the Unified GSM Build over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-0-android-5-0-t2945538 for the G900H? I want to help a friend who has this version, Thanks in Advance!

Mate, All Roms available in unified - Development section are for Qualcomm Snapdragon version. But our G900H model has Exynos chipset. CM not available yet.

All the roms listed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/galaxy-note-3-exynos-android-development
will work and are specifically created for the Note 3 Exynos.
Good luck!

[Q] Any build having Dual-SIM support ?

Does any PAC ROM 4.2.2 build have Dual-Sim support? I need one to port to my device (Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus, having Mediatek MT6582 chipset) since it has no kernel source and/or AOSP source. It has a Kernel version 3.4.5 and many fully working ROMs based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. If possible, are there any built for a Mediatek MT6582 chipset? If there are, then please provide me with a link to the ROM. Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work!

ROM for Indian Variant

Hello,
My friend just gave me his Samsung Galaxy note 3 SM-N900 ( Indian Variant ) with Exynos processor. He wanted to root his phone and install custom ROM. Being new on this thread I don't have much knowledge about the ROM distribution for Note 3. Please help me find a ROM for this variant based on CM or AOSP and Lollipop . I did my homework and searched for some of the ROMs but either they were Stock based or Kitkat. Help!!
Thank You.

G900FQ and LineageOS 14.1

I have a Samsung Galaxy G900FQ. I think it's same model with G900F cos users say roms are compatible. It has LTE. So I am undecided to choose LineageOS 14.1 for it. Which version should I install?
Galaxy S5 (klte):
https://download.lineageos.org/klte
Or Galaxy S5 (International 3G) (k3gxx):
https://download.lineageos.org/k3gxx
Also in XDA there are Unofficial LineageOS and Official LineageOS versions. Which one is more stable, newer...LTE or 3G, official or unofficial?
Help me please to install latest and most stable pure Android experience

Hi,
Definitely don't flash k3gxx version (SM-G900H). It has different hardware architecture (SoC) -> Exynos. Yours is Turkish carrier branded, Qualcomm based model and seems to have the same technical specification as SM-G900F.
So, I would try klte but full nandroid backup before of course.
Good luck.

According to the following (side by side) comparison link, the SM-G900FQ is identical to the SM-G900F in every way but, the region in which they are sold. The G900F is sold in Europe and the G900FQ is sold in Turkey.

I would bet (my ex-wife LOL!) that if you were to use the LineageOS (the thread link is below) for the klte (which is the one for the G900F) then you should be good to go.

Good Luck!

Thanks to you both, I already asked that link that if it's stable or not enough for daily use
I was installing many roms to my S2. It has been a while that but I think I can handle installing and trying roms. S5 is spare phone, so I will be brave enough to install every daily rom

[Q] Custom ROMS for N910U

Hello there, I'm HelveticaFont.
I recently bought a Galaxy Note 4 (Model N910U), and reading (somewhat late) in this dedicated forum, I see that there are no custom roms for my phone, and for the other models that have an Exynos processor the projects seems to have been abandoned .
So I ask, do you know if at some point roms like ResurrectionRemix or LineageOS will be released for my phone? or should I lose hope completely?
I'm currently using the stock rom Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Thank you.
