Great job guy, amazing battery life!
About LTE, in brazil doens't work 4g band, this is so sad
haha... my thanks!

What kernel?
Great ROM..loving it so far..what custom kernel would you recommend? Since I need d2w and undervolting to save juice.

Any AOSP kernel should work fine. SimpleAOSP just switched to inline kernel building, so we'll see what that entails in the next build.

This rom working great for me so far in Toronto on Telus network. Full LTE speeds where available.
Only issue I've noticed is that Exchange support is broken/missing.
GMail app only allows POP or IMAP for additional email accounts.
Using third party app for exchange works fine though. I'm currently using Nine client without issue.

no GPS
My GPS doesn't work fine, i see my location after few minutes and i can't naviguate with this. Need some help if it s a problem with simpleaosp?

love your roms, both KK and LL. Really miss 8/9 build, could your provide the link for it? Thanks!

love you roms, both KK and LL builds. Waiting for the new ones

Rom is awesome

UPDATE ?!
no more update ?

should try this. In the terminal app, type:
su
restorecon -RF /data/media/0
then reboot

No on screen buttons or notification bar
I've tried installing the rom a few times now but the problem is that it never has any of the on screen buttons (back, home, recent apps) or a notification bar. I have wiped absolutely everything several times and am using the latest version of TWRP. I have tried with and without flashing google apps. Any ideas? This rom looks really good and I'd like to use it!

Hi guys,
These are my UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMod ROMs, I build straight from the official sources and try to change as little as possible to leave it as much like the proper CM as possible. There are official ROMs and you can find the official thread here. The instructions below still apply for the official ROMs though, so check down for installation instructions. The official nightlies available here.
Thanks!

V5 download link
hi Shohat,
i am very big fan of your rom...tons of thanks ..finally got my favourite best rom. your rom really does exactly what it says which make it very special. really amazed from its battery and performance.
UNFORTUNATELY, DOWNLOAD LINK TO VERSION 5 OF THIS ROM IS NOT WORKING AS IT SAYS FOR SOME DECREPTION KEY TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE. COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS. I SHALL BE VERY THANKFUL TO YOU.
Love this ROM! Have been using it since V5 came out. As far as I can tell, tethering and some camera functions (fish-eye and sphere) modes don't work. Another problem is the lack of functional SamsungApps App. Can't purchase any apps for my GearS. I still get notifications on the watch. Everything else is perfect. Compared to other ROMs I have tried, Shohat RULES! I get similar Antutu scores from all 3, Shohat V5 phones in my household.
hey shohat
I tried installing this on my tmobile s5 and it looks like everything looks good on the install in twrp, however when I restart the phone I just get a black screen and a blue led on the top left. Any Ideas? thanks in advance.
I love kitkat

Thanks for this, if you could pack it in a zip as per the instructions in the op then other users could download and import. Also, of you could specify what you changed, that would be really helpful too.
I will then add a link in the op to your post which you can update as you wish.

How do you apply this tcp/ip tweak? Is this located in stweaks?
Which rom are you using
Hi what is rom your are sticking with to get this big amount of battery backup?

Voltage adjustment
Hi guys, running CM 12.1 and alucard 3.4.107 on GS4, however my problem was present in earlier versions too.
So I found that this ROM/kernel combo gives me the best performance/battery life and it works great 95% of the time.
However sometimes while using CPU intensive apps (manly games) the phone will freeze and reboot. After some research I've come to the conclusion that its the voltages fault (could be wrong). Basically I believe that some voltages are too low for the CPU when its under high load so that causes the freeze/reboot.
What I would like is if someone could confirm this and in that case tell me how to adjust the voltages in STweaks, or tell me I'm completely wrong, because something else might be causing this?
Hello,
it´s my first post and my first time of "tuning" with Stweaks. I tried to make a battery-friendly profile. I red a lot of posts about stweaks and tried to understand how it work´s. But my english isn´t very good, that´s why I want to ask if someone could may be check the profile...f.e. does the changes make sense? or are there some changes which are contradict (may be some changes reduce the battery consumption and some inrease so the result ist +- 0 ) or some suggestions to save more energy with this profile?
It´s nothing for gamer, but for me it´s ok.
Used Rom: Android 5.1.1 | Optimized CyanogenMod 12.1 builds

question
Hi I just wanted to ask why is it that when I go to the 'About Phone' option in the settings, the kernel says v1.3b but I am 100% sure I flashed the v1.3ba since I am running the latest CyanogenMod nightly. Thanks a lot. Picture attached for reference

Custom Kernel
What Kernel would you prefer for us to use ? I'm not really a gaming person, but I consider performance as a top priority, I hate lags (don't we all). Right now I believe that the stock kernel is the culprit here, it's draining my battery on a decent level, my wifi is always on even if I leave my phone unattended for hours !
Many kernels that I've seen on this forum have built in CWM, zRam and patches applied to them including pre-applied SuperUser, I am currently using SuperSU, will they affect the current behavior of the ROM ? I've noticed that the RAM is very efficiently utilized in this ROM, applications such as Facebook and Whatsapp have multiple services running, but once I leave them, they automatically start closing down to just the primary service. This wasn't the case in either the Stock ROM or JellyBlast v3. So if zRam comes up in one of the kernels, will this behavior change ?
No transparent v1.2
this' the simplest rom i've ever used. and i do love it..
i've installed all the packages, but there's no transparent in v1.2 transparent package.
i think you have to reupload V 1.2 Transparent zip..
we're waiting on.
thank you

Maybe mrg666 considers updating KK kernel? I'm still using it.
Can I install the kernel to cyanogenmod 12?
anyone tested this kernel on CyanogenMod 12?
anyone tested this kernel on CyanogenMod 12?
I can upload the kernal to cyanogenmod 12 ?
This kernel will work on CyanogenMod 12?
the kernel is for stock ROM. Cyanogen is not Stock therefore it won't work.
ViperV4
Hi, I've tried to install Viper, but all my tries failed.
With other kernels it's OK.
I'm using 5.0.1 stock. The problem in SELinux, if I set it to Permission, it returns back immediately.
I mean,
setenforce 0
su 0 setenforce 0
su system setenforce 0
SELINUX=permissive

all of this has no effect (on other kernels it's ok).
Hi, Is there a reason why my phone is heating with this kernel? I'm on the LRX kernel, thanks.
[Q&A] [KERNEL] MiRaGe - for Nexus 4 stock ROM
I tried to install LMY standard kernel Built: 04/14/15 on my Nexus 4. I'm running the latest AOSP Lollipop (not 5.1) with an unlocked and rooted phone.
I used the Nexus Root Toolkit to install the kernel, and when my phone restarted the Phone Dialer app presented me with the "crash" notification in an infinte loop.
Whether I chose to 'cancel' the prompt, or chose to 'send' the crash log, the same notification pop up would appear once more. I can't even send the crash log....
I went to fastboot and then flashed the stock kernel again (\stock_kernel_occam_5.0.1_LRX22C.img) and it worked just fine. Any advice?
Flashed in recovery....so far so good.
Using the 4/14 OC build on 5.1. Works great for me.

I have flashed the newest kernel,so far so good .
The battery of my cellphone has never been so durable,I love this kernel more than myself ,thans for your efforts very much.
If the speed of charging with USB can be a little faster,it will be perfect.
