Hello, xda-community.
i started this thread to ask if there's already a possibility to get Android L or / 5.0 on my Galaxy S5 Exynos version.
If not, how long exynos users have to wait till they get the new update?

No, it's totally fake news. SM900l is galaxy s5. This is s5 firmware.
Please pay attention to the news you have given, everyone is waiting for the new firmware to come out already

That's true. Everybody can check on samfirmware.com: SM-G900 is model ID for Galaxy S5.
Maybe its not his mistake, because if you see at the table here
http://www.mrcrab.net/androidfirmware/GT-I9195/Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Mini-LTE-GT--I9195.html
the two versions appear at the end.
Even so, it is totally wrong.
We keep waiting!

[Q] Lollipop Update

Hey guys, I have bought an S3 Neo (GT-I9301I) yesterday and I just want to ask: is Samsung planning to update it to Lollipop?
I have attached the photos of the phone's information. The region is SEB.

It's highly possible that the device will get it, because the 18 month support period hasn't passed yet. However only thing Samsumg tells us is to wait.
I think too that this device can get Android Lollipop but as we know Samsung, we will wait along!

Reason behind that we can't port S6 rom

Q) Why we can't port S6 rom to our Note 3 n900?
I've been thinking the actual reason for a long time. But now I got some answers. First of all S6 is a 64 bit device and running android 5.0.2. But we got only 5.0 officially. Next question, but S4 has some S6 ports?? Answer is, S4 has official 5.0.1. If we have at least 5.0.1 then it will be more easy to port.
I think these are the main reasons.

it doesn't make sense only few very few S5 mini devices got the lollipop update even though its been a year since lollipop came out
if they really are working on marshmallow it would be most likely released 2017 that what i think

Dunno mate
Maybe they gonna jump from Lollipop to Marshmallow directly, so that's why we don't see any changes about releasing Lollipop.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos (China/TD-LTE) Marshmallow update

Hi,
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos (China/TD-LTE) Marshmallow update was released in 03.08.2016 in China (Open China) and for (PHONE Version N9100ZCU1DPH1)
https://samsung-firmware.org/download/GALAXY%20Note4/22fd/CHC/N9100ZCU1DPH1/N9100CHC1DPH1/
My phone is Galaxy Note 4 Duos (China/TD-LTE) is Firmware SM-N9100 but with different (PHONE Version which is N9100ZHS1CPG1)
https://samsung-firmware.org/download/Galaxy%20Note%204%20Duos%20(China/TD-LTE)/862g/TGY/N9100ZHS1CPG1/N9100ZZH1CPG1/
Now my question is as follow, can I manually flush framework SM-N9100 for Galaxy Note 4 Duos (China/TD-LTE) by downloading (PHONE Version N9100ZCU1DPH1) for a different PHONE Version which is (N9100ZHS1CPG1) using Odin Tool or any other tool?
Is it possible? if yes, any issues doing so?
Is it going to break the support for the device? or is going to break next OTA updates?
My problem is my phone get hacked and I wanted to update since long time, but after waiting this long to released the update, they released it but for another PHONE Version, and everytime I keep waiting for long time to get the update, which is very bad for me to keep waiting.
If anyone have any suggestions, guid or advice, please let me know
Best regards
Yes you can. As long as the firmware belong to N9100 you can. If the firmware belong to other variant like N910F then you can't
