[Q] Bricked s4 Won't boot into recovery OR download mode - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

After attempting to install custom ROM (goldeneye) onto my phone through safestrap my phone has bricked.
It also won't boot into recovery or download mode so I'm unable to try and flash stock with Odin.
Is there anything I can do at this point or am I stuck with a really expensive paperweight??

How exactly did you flash the ROM. Was it the corr3ct safestrap version and ROM for your phone? If it wont turn on, try JTAG repair.

I am researching for like 5 hours, so i need an advice on how to unbrick my device.
PS. -Tried VolUp+Home+Power to get into recovery mode
-Tried flashing CWM
- Tried VolUp+Power to get into recovery mode
-My phone had enough battery percentage to flash rom
-Now my phone is turned off, removed battery, sim...
PS2. Now i gotta sleep, it is 3.40AM.
Still dont know how do i get into recovery mode.
Have you tried flashing a completely stock ROM via Odin? Flashing a stock ROM should work if you can get into download mode and the partitions are fine.

can' flash custom recovery

Dear all,
I have sasmsung s4 i9500 model with 5.0.1
I am flashing many custom recoveries like cwm, twrp, philz touch....but none of the recovery is opening.....when i flash the recovery it gets installed and passed...but when i go into recovery mode it always go in default recovery and not in custom recovery
Please help!!
Then try rooting your phone first and flash recovery using an app called Flashify.
Do not check auto reboot in Odin. Flash Twp, remove battery, remove USB cable, replace battery, boot into recovery.

A stock ROM from sammobile.com is flashed in download mode, not recovery mode so it doesn't matter if the phone has no recovery installed.

I know that but why it can't boot then? Ans what about recovery, Flaahing a stock rom gives you a stock recovery but the phone can't get into any recovery...
Can this be a hardware problem?
You flashed a stock ROM with pit?

I flashed cwm recovery again with odin and I got into recovery , wiped data and cache but when I restarted the phone it got stuck again at bootloader and now I can't access the recovery again.... I think that volume up and power buttons are broken somehow...
Flashed again the stock rom , same problem , nothing changed...
A few ideas would be great!
I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem. The phone doesn't simply shut down for no reason, unless some hardware part was failing.
Sounds like the same problem I have (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help/s4-boot-i9505-t3529543)
I would also be interested in how to install stock ROM with pit.
