Total noob here. Just rooted my phone, and have little idea of the endless possibilities.
Starting with Setcpu, what are the best profile, main, governor etc. setting I should use on my phone? I don't want to burn my cpu or destroy my phone so all help will be appreciated.

UV saves negligible to 10% battery so I do it to allow me to run @ 400Mhz minimum on my default profile while drawing less voltage vs stock voltage.
400 gives noticeably smoother scrolling in app drawer than at 200.
I also changed my touch boost level (frequency the CPU goes to when screen is touched) from 800 to 700Mhz using Swteaks.
Depending on your kernel UV may not be available.

This is 20% over on that single core! I have it limited now. Cuz' things get a bit freaky at 6900mhz/no limit-single core :angel:

A bios mod? A software overclock? Is the gpu affected too?
Software mod.
It can be but it seems like it isn't affected by the 3 available options. So this is only CPU
I had a thought the gpu could need more power and with the cpu unlocked, the gpu options themselves don't work. But lack of time.
I'm having troubles doing full recoveries though. I can't seem to use USB, it has an option for dvd though, but I don't have one.
my friend has bought g900F but he complained that the phone is so slow..on antutu has 22000 score and as i have seen on his cpuz 2 cpu has been stoped (?)
he has made factory reset etc..
any solution?

That is normal
The benchmark score is very low though

btw he made a full wipe and factory rest through recovery and now he scores about 41000
but still complaining his phone works slow :/
At 60 Celsius running blisspop 2.8ghz conservative governor I got a really low result why?? This is the first time I have run a benchmark and was shocked at the result

And because of the high temperature. I did 3 test in a row and,as the temperature of the cores increased, the results lowered from 43k down to 24k. Then I was on stock Lollipop, since I switched to CloudyG3 I never benchmarked the phone.
Guys, i own this phone for like 7 months until now. I notice something is unusual about the GPU performance. It lags a lot on games. Especially 3D one. What worse is, it even lags on 2D!
So i tried out other phone, LG V30, which boast Snapdragon 835 with Adreno GPU, and on AnTuTu, it performs twice againts the s8+
I also searched on Google, this phone got 70k on GPU score (matching my LG V30)
What's wrong with my phone??

I never temper with battery mode
I just found its really weird since this phone should perform really good right?
Is it hardware defect?
