Moto G XT1032 OTA approaching UK - Moto G General

Hello everyone!
I know lot of threads are open just to make noise around the update but since this morning there is new elements.
I had to update a "motorola update" app on my phone which litteraly is to allow update to lollipop.
There is also a new link to check if lollipop is out for your device according to your provider:
https://motorola-global-en-uk.custhelp.com/app/software-upgrade-news
Hope it will help...

First if all, everyone got the update for contextual services, not just UK, and it's already spoken about on another thread.
Second, the link you have is broken

Please don't post in this thread, it's already reported.
Don't spam forum with threads that in op information is the same like in hundreds of posts.

Link updated
Lot of threads talk about everything. I thought something clear would help people find the information they want at this period.

What is the problem of people reporting this kind of stuff? Things like this are going to be here until the L arrives. Period. Its hurting noone ...

Can't you people use the search function, or at least read through the first couple of pages of threads???
There is already more than one thread about this!

Thanks for your info!
There never was an answer in any of those threads, and this "does" need a bump. So started a new thread!

I hate to bump pointless stuff but this will no doubt get closed soon anyway.
If there is no answer in the first thread, it probably means that there is no answer at all.
I doubt that an answer will magically appear just because a second thread was started.
If you want to participate and push for a faster answer, bump the original thread to give it more attention and claim that you are yet another user experiencing this.

[Q] Firmware question

Remember this forever: If your phone model is SM-G900F and the firmware is for SM-G900F then you can flash the rom. That's it.
If you want to be able to get faster help in the future a good tip is to put your specs in your signature (like my signature). Also always read all of the stickies they are there for a reason. Don't post questions until you've done a search. There are two ways to do this 1 use the site's search function 2 use googe like this "QUESTION GOES HERE? site:xda-developers.com" .

Please please please do your bloody research my dear uk resident.. It makes me very sad when people who want to play around and experiment with their devices can't be bothered to look further then their own nose. If it's that much of a bother to waste 15-30 minutes on basic researching and reading threads (like all the rest of us do) then you might as well buy yourself a dumbphone. That will save you alot of time and effort which you don't want to put in anyways. Your question has been asked tons of times before and there are AFAIK at least three threads concerning this firmware. Yet you go out of your way to trash this forum with your lazyness and create this pointless thread. Please waste a little of your OWN time next time and read up. Good luck and don't upset me anymore I'm very sensitive.

[Q] Lollipop in our G2?

Before i begin, i was reading the whole thing about lollipop in the G2, I've found this
But I think that LG also like erriokosd said that they are delaying it also because of g3 abit and they also want to make stable/good builds cause if you remember from the past, their builds weren't always the best but now they are good

If you are so kind, can somebody would like to explain me about that needless to say that zip isn't a kernel nor the android system as seen above.
PS: I think my grammar sucks, but can somebody would like to highlight the mistakes I've made during writing this post. I'll be thankful!

There was a a Twitter post a few days ago by LG, saying that Lollipop will be coming in Q2. Also a few days ago there was a leaked Stock ROM for D802, for Android 5.0.2. So we should see an official update very soon.

[Q&A] About PhoeniX ROM V10.0

Congreats from Portugal, first of all i I wish to congratulate the developers off this room (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2741302) the last six who tested it on my s5 no doubt that this is the most complete , however I would get help in making same small changes.
1st question - I need help to ( an MOD, a explanation, etc) to change the scream lock... on this room when I receive a notification the clock reduces size.
whit no active notifications

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
whit active notifications
I wanted them to stay just like that when I receive a notification, what I nedd to do?
2nd question, is related to the time the backlight time (more our less 5 seconds) is active when locksream is active wiht the cellphone locked... I temporarily solve this using kinscreen app, but for me less apps running is better.
Thanks for help, i have a lot o sugestions to improve this amasing room, but as a new member I will be limited to read what others say
I'm sorry I can't help but ... There is already a thread for Q&A about this ROM. I think this is the link (if not, check the last post in the PhoeniX main thread): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2915350
I know the title of that thread refers to v4 but I think that's the official Q&A thread. It might help you because maybe there are people who subscribe to that thread who will not otherwise see your questions.
Good luck.
