Hey guys, I've had an ADT-1 for a while, and I wanted to know if I can post questions here about it? I haven't been able to find that much support sites besides the G+ Community, there isn't much activity there.

unless a mod, moves your post or reprimands you , i think your ok . but not sure how many here got a ADT-1

I thought i read some time ago when PocketCM was in early development that it used a third-party library for the scrolling up and down that it does.
Does anyone know what that library was? I would like to try my hand at developing a cool new app for the xda-developers community, but have no clue where to start looking for that library.
Though i have googled and searched this site first, maybe im not using the right keywords.

snachez, the point of of a forum is to find out information and talk about certain things, ask help, etc. Heck maybe someone has the same question as i do. And a forum is a great repository for information, so instead of bugging tene in this case, every time another person has a question, they search the forums and they find the information. You see, one question, many people answered. So technically, its not cluttering.
And just as a general rule of thumb, being rude will not get you anywhere in these forums. Just thought i would mention that as you have just joined us somtime last month.

I wasn't trying to be rude, but being the huge long time user you are... 23 posts over 18 months (slow down, son) you must be aware of the forum rules. Dont ask questions in a new thread unless you are contributing .. that's what the top sticky is for.

As well, if you haven't received an answer a week after the initial post, you could logically assume that nobody knows... no need to ask if they don't. Contacting the actual developer would have been my first move, but meh.. maybe that's just me.

Small tip, this is a development forum. A lot of those apps were probably written by guys here who make their living as software developers. (I do just not for android, yet).
First thing you should do is edit your first post to remove the link, apologize, then post something constructive that might not get you banned.
Just a friendly hint.

I know posting this might incite some flaming, but all I'm looking for is an answer.
I've done a quick search and turned up no results on how to create your own build. I used the program that was made, but that has turned up a lot of errors for me, and I would prefer to learn how to make one from scratch.
Writing a full guide would be time consuming, but if someone could at least post a few links of where to look; I would be very appreciative.
Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before but doing a search turned up no results for me.

you are looking for flaming since the begging because if you havent notice this question should be in the general android ... here is only developing.Also i saw this question i dont remember where but developers said that make a tutorial its virtualy impossible its just to much work ...

This is about developing an android build, this is the best place to put the question. Better here than in general. I'd rather put in the extra work and try to create a new build and try to contribute to the community, try and do my part

You have to remember that with Honeycomb still being closed source, there are pretty severe limits as to what a rom cook can do.

I too would like to see some custom stuff but yes, the whole closed thing is I'm sure pissing everyone off....hope Google doesn't pull an apple. On a lighter note I kinda like all the ports. gives u an idea of what the software on the other tablets are like. All the hardware is basically the same plus/minus a few things so its nice to see what others are messing with. Thanks to the porters!

Hey sorry for that. I realized yesterday that I am posting my questions in the wrong areas and not taking advantage of the search and the suggestions when I am posting. I will admit, very noobish of me. I just get so excited and have questions in my head and am waaaay to ADHD sometimes to slow down and look. Appreciate the feedback from everyone and I will post more smartly in the future.
