How exactly does it answer my question?

If you want cwm recovery on our device you can check that thread, you dont need ROM manager. And our device isnt supported by cwm team so i guess you can install from ROM manager.

ROM manager does not work with this particular phone model. Sorry, but you need a computer to install/modify the rom on your phone!

Check Recovery version

Sorry if this is the wrong place. I tried installing Froyo AOSP(2.2.2) for Tattoo v0.45 released but the phone enterer a boot loop and I had to do a restore. How can I know the Recovery version I'm using? I can see it was created by MAVERIX but I don't even know if it is the recovery I'm supposed to have.
Thanks
Use ClockworkMod which comes together with ROM Manager

Yap just download ti from market and flash recovery from app.

quick question about rom manager

i keep seeing 3.0.2.4 being referred to but the market version is 4.3.1.8. is it safe to install the latter, or is 3.0.2.4 the preferred version for our phone? thanks!
You are confusing ROM Manager version and Clockwork Recovery version. When the term clockwork mod (CwM) is used, it is referring to the recovery. ROM Manager is the app available in the market.
The recovery is currently version 3.0.2.4.

Install ROM Manager and use that to flash CWM again. Then it should stick.

[Q] Loki vs Rom Manager

Hi,
I have ROM Manager on my rooted S4-1337 by AT & T. I want to install Graviton. Part of the instructions suggest using Loki. Is that step necessary if I have ROM Manager?
Thank you for your time.
Do not use Rom Manager to flash roms. Use a custom recovery.
I would encourage you to understand what you're doing before you proceed.
Cheers
Never use ROM Manager. Evar! Lol
